1 (UKJV) "O Lord God, to whom vengeance belongs; O God, to whom vengeance belongs, show yourself. "
1 (LS) Dieu des vengeances, Eternel! Dieu des vengeances, parais!
2 (UKJV) Lift up yourself, you judge of the earth: render a reward to the proud.
2 (LS) Lève-toi, juge de la terre! Rends aux superbes selon leurs oeuvres!
3 (UKJV) LORD, how long shall the wicked, how long shall the wicked triumph?
3 (LS) Jusques à quand les méchants, ô Eternel! Jusques à quand les méchants triompheront-ils?
4 (UKJV) How long shall they utter and speak hard things? and all the workers of iniquity boast themselves?
4 (LS) Ils discourent, ils parlent avec arrogance; Tous ceux qui font le mal se glorifient.
5 (UKJV) They break in pieces your people, O LORD, and afflict your heritage.
5 (LS) Eternel! ils écrasent ton peuple, Ils oppriment ton héritage;
6 (UKJV) They slay the widow and the stranger, and murder the fatherless.
6 (LS) Ils égorgent la veuve et l'étranger, Ils assassinent les orphelins.
7 (UKJV) Yet they say, The LORD shall not see, neither shall the God of Jacob regard it.
7 (LS) Et ils disent: L'Eternel ne regarde pas, Le Dieu de Jacob ne fait pas attention!
8 (UKJV) Understand, all of you brutish among the people: and all of you fools, when will all of you be wise?
8 (LS) Prenez-y garde, hommes stupides! Insensés, quand serez-vous sages?
9 (UKJV) He that planted the ear, shall he not hear? he that formed the eye, shall he not see?
9 (LS) Celui qui a planté l'oreille n'entendrait-il pas? Celui qui a formé l'oeil ne verrait-il pas?
10 (UKJV) He that chastises the heathen, shall not he correct? he that teaches man knowledge, shall not he know?
10 (LS) Celui qui châtie les nations ne punirait-il point, Lui qui donne à l'homme l'intelligence?
11 (UKJV) The LORD knows the thoughts of man, that they are vanity.
11 (LS) L'Eternel connaît les pensées de l'homme, Il sait qu'elles sont vaines.
12 (UKJV) "Blessed is the man whom you chasten, O LORD, and teach him out of your law; "
12 (LS) Heureux l'homme que tu châties, ô Eternel! Et que tu instruis par ta loi,
13 (UKJV) That you may give him rest from the days of adversity, until the pit be dug for the wicked.
13 (LS) Pour le calmer aux jours du malheur, Jusqu'à ce que la fosse soit creusée pour le méchant!
14 (UKJV) For the LORD will not cast off his people, neither will he forsake his inheritance.
14 (LS) Car l'Eternel ne délaisse pas son peuple, Il n'abandonne pas son héritage;
15 (UKJV) But judgment shall return unto righteousness: and all the upright in heart shall follow it.
15 (LS) Car le jugement sera conforme à la justice, Et tous ceux dont le coeur est droit l'approuveront.
16 (UKJV) Who will rise up for me against the evildoers? or who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity?
16 (LS) Qui se lèvera pour moi contre les méchants? Qui me soutiendra contre ceux qui font le mal?
17 (UKJV) Unless the LORD had been my help, my soul had almost dwelt in silence.
17 (LS) Si l'Eternel n'était pas mon secours, Mon âme serait bien vite dans la demeure du silence.
18 (UKJV) "When I said, My foot slips; your mercy, O LORD, held me up. "
18 (LS) Quand je dis: Mon pied chancelle! Ta bonté, ô Eternel! me sert d'appui.
19 (UKJV) In the multitude of my thoughts within me your comforts delight my soul.
19 (LS) Quand les pensées s'agitent en foule au dedans de moi, Tes consolations réjouissent mon âme.
20 (UKJV) Shall the throne of iniquity have fellowship with you, which frames mischief by a law?
20 (LS) Les méchants te feraient-ils siéger sur leur trône, Eux qui forment des desseins iniques en dépit de la loi?
21 (UKJV) They gather themselves together against the soul of the righteous, and condemn the innocent blood.
21 (LS) Ils se rassemblent contre la vie du juste, Et ils condamnent le sang innocent.
22 (UKJV) "But the LORD is my defence; and my God is the rock of my refuge. "
22 (LS) Mais l'Eternel est ma retraite, Mon Dieu est le rocher de mon refuge.
23 (UKJV) "And he shall bring upon them their own iniquity, and shall cut them off in their own wickedness; yea, the LORD our God shall cut them off. "
23 (LS) Il fera retomber sur eux leur iniquité, Il les anéantira par leur méchanceté; L'Eternel, notre Dieu, les anéantira.

"O Lord God, to whom vengeance belongs; O God, to whom vengeance belongs, show yourself. "
Dt 33:2 - "And he said, The LORD came from Sinai, and rose up from Seir unto them; he shined forth from mount Paran, and he came with ten thousands of saints: from his right hand went a fiery law for them. "

Yet they say, The LORD shall not see, neither shall the God of Jacob regard it.

Ž 10:13 - Wherefore does the wicked contemn God? he has said in his heart, You will not require it.
Ž 59:7 - Behold, they belch out with their mouth: swords are in their lips: for who, say they, does hear?

Understand, all of you brutish among the people: and all of you fools, when will all of you be wise?

Ex 4:11 - And the LORD said unto him, Who has made man's mouth? or who makes the dumb, or deaf, or the seeing, or the blind? have not I the LORD?

The LORD knows the thoughts of man, that they are vanity.
1Kor 3:20 - And again, The Lord knows the thoughts of the wise, that they are vain.
Verš 14
For the LORD will not cast off his people, neither will he forsake his inheritance.
1Sam 12:22 - For the LORD will not forsake his people for his great name's sake: because it has pleased the LORD to make you his people.
Rim 11:1 - I say then, Has God cast away his people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.
Z 94,7 - "Pán nevidí" a "nevie", neveria, že Boh bude trestať každú krivdu, každý hriech a každý zločin. Proti podobným neprístojnostiam a krivdám brojili aj proroci (Iz 1,23; 5,20-23; 10,1 n.; Jer 5,1 n.; Ez 22,7; Oz 4,2; Zach 7,10 atď.).
Z 94,17 - "V ríši mlčania", teda v šeóle (porov. Ž 115,17).
