Žalmy

1 (HEM) ישב בסתר עליון בצל שדי יתלונן׃
1 (UKJV) He that dwells in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

2 (HEM) אמר ליהוה מחסי ומצודתי אלהי אבטח בו׃
2 (UKJV) "I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. "

3 (HEM) כי הוא יצילך מפח יקוש מדבר הוות׃
3 (UKJV) Surely he shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from the dangerous pestilence.

4 (HEM) באברתו יסך לך ותחת כנפיו תחסה צנה וסחרה אמתו׃
4 (UKJV) He shall cover you with his feathers, and under his wings shall you trust: his truth shall be your shield and buckler.

5 (HEM) לא תירא מפחד לילה מחץ יעוף יומם׃
5 (UKJV) "You shall not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flies by day; "

6 (HEM) מדבר באפל יהלך מקטב ישוד צהרים׃
6 (UKJV) "Nor for the pestilence that walks in darkness; nor for the destruction that wastes at noonday. "

7 (HEM) יפל מצדך אלף ורבבה מימינך אליך לא יגש׃
7 (UKJV) "A thousand shall fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but it shall not come nigh you. "

8 (HEM) רק בעיניך תביט ושלמת רשעים תראה׃
8 (UKJV) Only with your eyes shall you behold and see the reward of the wicked.

9 (HEM) כי אתה יהוה מחסי עליון שמת מעונך׃
9 (UKJV) "Because you have made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, your habitation; "

10 (HEM) לא תאנה אליך רעה ונגע לא יקרב באהלך׃
10 (UKJV) There shall no evil befall you, neither shall any plague come nigh your dwelling.

11 (HEM) כי מלאכיו יצוה לך לשמרך בכל דרכיך׃
11 (UKJV) For he shall give his angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways.

12 (HEM) על כפים ישאונך פן תגף באבן רגלך׃
12 (UKJV) They shall bear you up in their hands, lest you dash your foot against a stone.

13 (HEM) על שחל ופתן תדרך תרמס כפיר ותנין׃
13 (UKJV) You shall tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shall you trample under feet.

14 (HEM) כי בי חשק ואפלטהו אשגבהו כי ידע שמי׃
14 (UKJV) Because he has set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he has known my name.

15 (HEM) יקראני ואענהו עמו אנכי בצרה אחלצהו ואכבדהו׃
15 (UKJV) "He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him. "

16 (HEM) ארך ימים אשביעהו ואראהו בישועתי׃
16 (UKJV) With long life will I satisfy him, and show him my salvation.
