1 (HEM) שיר מזמור לבני קרח למנצח על מחלת לענות משכיל להימן האזרחי יהוה אלהי ישועתי יום צעקתי בלילה נגדך׃
1 (UKJV) O lord God of my salvation, I have cried day and night before you:

2 (HEM) תבוא לפניך תפלתי הטה אזנך לרנתי׃
2 (UKJV) "Let my prayer come before you: incline your ear unto my cry; "

3 (HEM) כי שבעה ברעות נפשי וחיי לשאול הגיעו׃
3 (UKJV) For my soul is full of troubles: and my life draws nigh unto the grave.

4 (HEM) נחשבתי עם יורדי בור הייתי כגבר אין איל׃
4 (UKJV) I am counted with them that go down into the pit: I am as a man that has no strength:

5 (HEM) במתים חפשי כמו חללים שכבי קבר אשר לא זכרתם עוד והמה מידך נגזרו׃
5 (UKJV) Free among the dead, like the slain that lie in the grave, whom you remember no more: and they are cut off from your hand.

6 (HEM) שתני בבור תחתיות במחשכים במצלות׃
6 (UKJV) You have laid me in the low pit, in darkness, in the deeps.

7 (HEM) עלי סמכה חמתך וכל משבריך ענית סלה׃
7 (UKJV) Your wrath lies hard upon me, and you have afflicted me with all your waves. Selah.

8 (HEM) הרחקת מידעי ממני שתני תועבות למו כלא ולא אצא׃
8 (UKJV) "You have put away mine acquaintance far from me; you have made me an abomination unto them: I am shut up, and I cannot come forth. "

9 (HEM) עיני דאבה מני עני קראתיך יהוה בכל יום שטחתי אליך כפי׃
9 (UKJV) Mine eye mourns by reason of affliction: LORD, I have called daily upon you, I have stretched out my hands unto you.

10 (HEM) הלמתים תעשה פלא אם רפאים יקומו יודוך סלה׃
10 (UKJV) Will you show wonders to the dead? shall the dead arise and praise you? Selah.

11 (HEM) היספר בקבר חסדך אמונתך באבדון׃
11 (UKJV) Shall your loving kindness be declared in the grave? or your faithfulness in destruction?

12 (HEM) היודע בחשך פלאך וצדקתך בארץ נשיה׃
12 (UKJV) Shall your wonders be known in the dark? and your righteousness in the land of forgetfulness?

13 (HEM) ואני אליך יהוה שועתי ובבקר תפלתי תקדמך׃
13 (UKJV) "But unto you have I cried, O LORD; and in the morning shall my prayer prevent you. "

14 (HEM) למה יהוה תזנח נפשי תסתיר פניך ממני׃
14 (UKJV) LORD, why cast you off my soul? why hide you your face from me?

15 (HEM) עני אני וגוע מנער נשאתי אמיך אפונה׃
15 (UKJV) I am afflicted and ready to die from my youth up: while I suffer your terrors I am distracted.

16 (HEM) עלי עברו חרוניך בעותיך צמתותני׃
16 (UKJV) "Your fierce wrath goes over me; your terrors have cut me off. "

17 (HEM) סבוני כמים כל היום הקיפו עלי יחד׃
17 (UKJV) "They came round about me daily like water; they compassed me about together. "

18 (HEM) הרחקת ממני אהב ורע מידעי מחשך׃
18 (UKJV) Lover and friend have you put far from me, and mine acquaintance into darkness.
