1 (UKJV) Bow down your ear, O LORD, hear me: for I am poor and needy.
1 (ROH) Nakloň, Hospodine, svoje ucho a vyslyš ma, lebo som biedny a chudobný.
2 (UKJV) "Preserve my soul; for I am holy: O you my God, save your servant that trusts in you. "
2 (ROH) Ostríhaj moju dušu, lebo si mi dal svoju milosť. Zachráň svojho služobníka, ty, môj Bože, toho, ktorý sa nadeje na teba.
3 (UKJV) Be merciful unto me, O Lord: for I cry unto you daily.
3 (ROH) Zmiluj sa nado mnou, Pane, lebo na teba volám každého dňa.
4 (UKJV) Rejoice the soul of your servant: for unto you, O Lord, do I lift up my soul.
4 (ROH) Rozveseľ dušu svojho služobníka, lebo k tebe, ó, Pane, pozdvihujem svoju dušu.
5 (UKJV) "For you, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive; and abundant in mercy unto all them that call upon you. "
5 (ROH) Lebo ty, Pane, si dobrotivý a hotový odpustiť a máš mnoho milosti pre všetkých, ktorí volajú na teba.
6 (UKJV) "Give ear, O LORD, unto my prayer; and attend to the voice of my supplications. "
6 (ROH) Počuj, Hospodine, moju modlitbu a pozoruj na hlas mojich pokorných prosieb.
7 (UKJV) In the day of my trouble I will call upon you: for you will answer me.
7 (ROH) V deň svojho súženia volám na teba, lebo ma vyslýchaš.
8 (UKJV) "Among the gods there is none like unto you, O Lord; neither are there any works like unto your works. "
8 (ROH) Nieto takého medzi bohmi, jako si ty, ó, Pane, a niet skutkov, ako sú tvoje.
9 (UKJV) "All nations whom you have made shall come and worship before you, O Lord; and shall glorify your name. "
9 (ROH) Všetky národy, ktoré si učinil, prijdú a budú sa klaňať pred tebou, Pane, a budú ctiť tvoje meno.
10 (UKJV) For you are great, and do wondrous things: you are God alone.
10 (ROH) Lebo ty si veľký a činíš divy; ty sám jediný si Bôh.
11 (UKJV) "Teach me your way, O LORD; I will walk in your truth: unite my heart to fear your name. "
11 (ROH) Vyuč ma, Hospodine, svojej ceste, aby som chodil v tvojej pravde, sústreď moje srdce na bázeň svojho mena.
12 (UKJV) I will praise you, O Lord my God, with all my heart: and I will glorify your name for evermore.
12 (ROH) Oslavovať ťa budem, Pane, môj Bože, celým svojím srdcom a tvoje meno budem ctiť na veky.
13 (UKJV) For great is your mercy toward me: and you have delivered my soul from the low hell.
13 (ROH) Lebo tvoja milosť je veľká nado mnou a vytrhol si moju dušu z najhlbšieho pekla.
14 (UKJV) "O God, the proud are risen against me, and the assemblies of violent men have sought after my soul; and have not set you before them. "
14 (ROH) Ó, Bože, pyšní povstali proti mne, a hajno násilníkov hľadá moju dušu, a nepredstavili si teba pred seba.
15 (UKJV) But you, O Lord, are a God full of compassion, and gracious, long suffering, and abundant in mercy and truth.
15 (ROH) Ale ty, Pane, si silný Bôh ľútostivý a milosrdný, zhovievajúci, mnohej milosti a pravdy.
16 (UKJV) "O turn unto me, and have mercy upon me; give your strength unto your servant, and save the son of your handmaid. "
16 (ROH) Obráť svoju tvár ku mne a zmiluj sa nado mnou! Daj svojmu služobníkovi svoju silu a zachráň syna svojej dievky!
17 (UKJV) "Show me a token for good; that they which hate me may see it, and be ashamed: because you, LORD, have helped me, and comforted me. "
17 (ROH) Učiň pri mne znamenie na dobré, čo keď uvidia tí, ktorí ma nenávidia, budú sa hanbiť, že ty, Hospodine, si mi pomohol a potešil si ma.

Verš 8
"Among the gods there is none like unto you, O Lord; neither are there any works like unto your works. "
Dt 3:24 - O Lord GOD, you have begun to show your servant your greatness, and your mighty hand: for what God is there in heaven or in earth, that can do according to your works, and according to your might?
Ž 136:4 - To him who alone does great wonders: for his mercy endures for ever.
Verš 15
But you, O Lord, are a God full of compassion, and gracious, long suffering, and abundant in mercy and truth.
Ex 34:6 - And the LORD passed by before him, and proclaimed, The LORD, The LORD God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth,
Nm 14:18 - The LORD is longsuffering, and of great mercy, forgiving iniquity and transgression, and by no means clearing the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation.
Neh 9:17 - "And refused to obey, neither were mindful of your wonders that you did among them; but hardened their necks, and in their rebellion appointed a captain to return to their bondage: but you are a God ready to pardon, gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and forsook them not. "
Ž 103:8 - The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abundant in mercy.

Joe 2:13 - And rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto the LORD your God: for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repents him of the evil.

"Teach me your way, O LORD; I will walk in your truth: unite my heart to fear your name. "
