1 (HEM) שיר מזמור לאסף אלהים אל דמי לך אל תחרש ואל תשקט אל׃
1 (UKJV) Keep not you silence, O God: hold not your peace, and be not still, O God.

2 (HEM) כי הנה אויביך יהמיון ומשנאיך נשאו ראש׃
2 (UKJV) For, lo, your enemies make a tumult: and they that hate you have lifted up the head.

3 (HEM) על עמך יערימו סוד ויתיעצו על צפוניך׃
3 (UKJV) They have taken crafty counsel against your people, and consulted against your hidden ones.

4 (HEM) אמרו לכו ונכחידם מגוי ולא יזכר שם ישראל עוד׃
4 (UKJV) "They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance. "

5 (HEM) כי נועצו לב יחדו עליך ברית יכרתו׃
5 (UKJV) For they have consulted together with one consent: they are confederate against you:

6 (HEM) אהלי אדום וישמעאלים מואב והגרים׃
6 (UKJV) "The tabernacles of Edom, and the Ishmaelites; of Moab, and the Hagarenes; "

7 (HEM) גבל ועמון ועמלק פלשת עם ישבי צור׃
7 (UKJV) "Gebal, and Ammon, and Amalek; the Philistines with the inhabitants of Tyre; "

8 (HEM) גם אשור נלוה עמם היו זרוע לבני לוט סלה׃
8 (UKJV) Assur also is joined with them: they have helped the children of Lot. Selah.

9 (HEM) עשה להם כמדין כסיסרא כיבין בנחל קישון׃
9 (UKJV) "Do unto them as unto the Midianites; as to Sisera, as to Jabin, at the brook of Kison: "

10 (HEM) נשמדו בעין דאר היו דמן לאדמה׃
10 (UKJV) Which perished at Endor: they became as dung for the earth.

11 (HEM) שיתמו נדיבמו כערב וכזאב וכזבח וכצלמנע כל נסיכמו׃
11 (UKJV) Make their nobles like Oreb, and like Zeeb: yea, all their princes as Zebah, and as Zalmunna:

12 (HEM) אשר אמרו נירשה לנו את נאות אלהים׃
12 (UKJV) Who said, Let us take to ourselves the houses of God in possession.

13 (HEM) אלהי שיתמו כגלגל כקש לפני רוח׃
13 (UKJV) "O my God, make them like a wheel; as the stubble before the wind. "

14 (HEM) כאש תבער יער וכלהבה תלהט הרים׃
14 (UKJV) "As the fire burns a wood, and as the flame sets the mountains on fire; "

15 (HEM) כן תרדפם בסערך ובסופתך תבהלם׃
15 (UKJV) So persecute them with your tempest, and make them afraid with your storm.

16 (HEM) מלא פניהם קלון ויבקשו שמך יהוה׃
16 (UKJV) "Fill their faces with shame; that they may seek your name, O LORD. "

17 (HEM) יבשו ויבהלו עדי עד ויחפרו ויאבדו׃
17 (UKJV) "Let them be confounded and troubled for ever; yea, let them be put to shame, and perish: "

18 (HEM) וידעו כי אתה שמך יהוה לבדך עליון על כל הארץ׃
18 (UKJV) That men may know that you, whose name alone is JEHOVAH, are the most high over all the earth.
