Ž 77, 1-21

Verš 16
"The waters saw you, O God, the waters saw you; they were afraid: the depths also were troubled. "
Ex 14:21 - "And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the LORD caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea dry land, and the waters were divided. "

Verš 17
The clouds poured out water: the skies sent out a sound: your arrows also went abroad.
Ex 14:24 - And it came to pass, that in the morning watch the LORD looked unto the host of the Egyptians through the pillar of fire and of the cloud, and troubled the host of the Egyptians,

Verš 20
You led your people like a flock by the hand of Moses and Aaron.
Ž 78:52 - But made his own people to go forth like sheep, and guided them in the wilderness like a flock.
Ž 80:1 - "Give ear, O Shepherd of Israel, you that lead Joseph like a flock; you that dwell between the cherubims, shine forth. "

Verš 14
You are the God that do wonders: you have declared your strength among the people.
Ex 15:11 - Who is like unto you, O LORD, among the gods? who is like you, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders?

Kr.

Z 77,16 - "Synovia Jakubovi a Jozefovi" - prví emigrovali do Egypta, druhí sa tam narodili (porov. Gn 46,26 n.).

Z 77,17 - Verš 17 pripomína iný zázrak, zázračný prechod cez Červené more (Ex 14,15), formou veľkolepej teofánie (porov. Ž 18,11-16; Hab 3,8.10.11.15). Zjavenie Boha sprevádzajú veľké prírodné úkazy.

Z 77,20 - "Ale tvoje stopy nikde nebadať" - týmto chce žalmista naznačiť, že samého Boha ľudské oči nevideli.
