1 (CPDV) Unto the end. With Praises. A Psalm of Asaph. A Canticle to the Assyrians.
1 (KAT) Zbormajstrovi. Na nápev „Nezahub“. Asafov žalm. Pieseň.

2 (CPDV) In Judea, God is known. In Israel, his name is great.
2 (KAT) Oslavujeme ťa, Bože, oslavujeme ťa a tvoje meno vzývame, rozhlasujeme tvoje skutky zázračné.

3 (CPDV) And his place has been formed with peace. And his dwelling place is in Zion.
3 (KAT) Ja sám určím čas a vykonám spravodlivý súd.

4 (CPDV) In that place, he has broken the powers of the bows, the shield, the sword, and the battle.
4 (KAT) Hoc by sa roztápala zem a triasli všetci, čo na nej bývajú, ja pevne držím jej stĺpy.

5 (CPDV) You illuminate wondrously from the mountains of eternity.
5 (KAT) Chvastúňom hovorím: „Nevystatujte sa!“ A previnilcom: „Nedvíhajte hlavy!

6 (CPDV) All the foolish of heart have been disturbed. They have slept their sleep, and all the men of riches have found nothing in their hands.
6 (KAT) Nedvíhajte hlavy vysoko, proti Bohu nehovorte bezočivosti.“

7 (CPDV) At your rebuke, O God of Jacob, those who were mounted on horseback have fallen asleep.
7 (KAT) Veď ani od východu, ani od západu, ani z púšte neprichádza povýšenie.

8 (CPDV) You are terrible, and so, who can withstand you? From thence is your wrath.
8 (KAT) Ale sudcom je sám Boh: jedného ponižuje, druhého povyšuje.

9 (CPDV) You have caused judgment to be heard from heaven. The earth trembled and was quieted,
9 (KAT) Lebo v Pánovej ruke je kalich plný čistého vína s korením. On z neho nalieva, až po kvasnice ho musia vyprázdniť, všetci hriešnici zeme budú z neho piť.

10 (CPDV) when God rose up in judgment in order to bring salvation to all the meek of the earth.
10 (KAT) Lež ja naveky chcem ohlasovať a ospevovať Boha Jakubovho.

11 (CPDV) For the thinking of man will confess to you, and the legacy of his thinking will keep a feast day to you.
11 (KAT) Pozrážam všetku pýchu hriešnikov, no spravodliví vztýčia svoje hlavy.

12 (CPDV) Make vows and pay them to the Lord, your God. All you who surround him bring gifts: to him who is terrible,

13 (CPDV) even to him who takes away the spirit of leaders, to him who is terrible with the kings of the earth.
