1 (KJV) Make haste, O God, to deliver me; make haste to help me, O LORD.
1 (ROH) Náčelníkovi speváckeho sboru. Žalm Dávidov. Pripomínať.
2 (KJV) Let them be ashamed and confounded that seek after my soul: let them be turned backward, and put to confusion, that desire my hurt.
2 (ROH) Bože, pospieš ma vytrhnúť, Hospodine, ponáhľaj sa mi na pomoc!
3 (KJV) Let them be turned back for a reward of their shame that say, Aha, aha.
3 (ROH) Nech sa hanbia a rumenejú tí, ktorí hľadajú moju dušu! Nech uhnú zpät a stydia sa tí, ktorí chcú moje zlé.
4 (KJV) Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: and let such as love thy salvation say continually, Let God be magnified.
4 (ROH) Nech sa obrátia zpät pre svoju hanbu tí, ktorí vo zlom hovoria: Aha, aha!
5 (KJV) But I am poor and needy: make haste unto me, O God: thou art my help and my deliverer; O LORD, make no tarrying.
5 (ROH) Nech sa veselia a radujú v tebe všetci, ktorí ťa hľadajú, a tí, ktorí milujú tvoje spasenie, nech vždycky hovoria: Nech je velebený Bôh!

6 (ROH) Ale ja som biedny a chudobný; Bože, ponáhľaj sa ku mne! Mojou pomocou a mojím vysloboditeľom si ty! Hospodine, neodkladaj!

Verš 2
Let them be ashamed and confounded that seek after my soul: let them be turned backward, and put to confusion, that desire my hurt.
Ž 35:4 - Let them be confounded and put to shame that seek after my soul: let them be turned back and brought to confusion that devise my hurt.
Ž 35:26 - Let them be ashamed and brought to confusion together that rejoice at mine hurt: let them be clothed with shame and dishonour that magnify themselves against me.
Ž 71:13 - Let them be confounded and consumed that are adversaries to my soul; let them be covered with reproach and dishonour that seek my hurt.
