Žalmy

1 (HEM) שגיון לדוד אשר שר ליהוה על דברי כוש בן ימיני יהוה אלהי בך חסיתי הושיעני מכל רדפי והצילני׃
1 (UKJV) O LORD my God, in you do I put my trust: save me from all them that persecute me, and deliver me:

2 (HEM) פן יטרף כאריה נפשי פרק ואין מציל׃
2 (UKJV) Lest he tear my soul like a lion, rending it in pieces, while there is none to deliver.

3 (HEM) יהוה אלהי אם עשיתי זאת אם יש עול בכפי׃
3 (UKJV) "O LORD my God, If I have done this; if there be iniquity in my hands; "

4 (HEM) אם גמלתי שולמי רע ואחלצה צוררי ריקם׃
4 (UKJV) "If I have rewarded evil unto him that was at peace with me; (yea, I have delivered him that without cause is mine enemy:) "

5 (HEM) ירדף אויב נפשי וישג וירמס לארץ חיי וכבודי לעפר ישכן סלה׃
5 (UKJV) "Let the enemy persecute my soul, and take it; yea, let him tread down my life upon the earth, and lay mine honour in the dust. Selah. "

6 (HEM) קומה יהוה באפך הנשא בעברות צוררי ועורה אלי משפט צוית׃
6 (UKJV) Arise, O LORD, in your anger, lift up yourself because of the rage of mine enemies: and awake for me to the judgment that you have commanded.

7 (HEM) ועדת לאמים תסובבך ועליה למרום שובה׃
7 (UKJV) So shall the congregation of the people compass you about: for their sakes therefore return you on high.

8 (HEM) יהוה ידין עמים שפטני יהוה כצדקי וכתמי עלי׃
8 (UKJV) The LORD shall judge the people: judge me, O LORD, according to my righteousness, and according to mine integrity that is in me.

9 (HEM) יגמר נא רע רשעים ותכונן צדיק ובחן לבות וכליות אלהים צדיק׃
9 (UKJV) "Oh let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end; but establish the just: for the righteous God tries the hearts and reins. "

10 (HEM) מגני על אלהים מושיע ישרי לב׃
10 (UKJV) My defence is of God, which saves the upright in heart.

11 (HEM) אלהים שופט צדיק ואל זעם בכל יום׃
11 (UKJV) God judges the righteous, and God is angry with the wicked every day.

12 (HEM) אם לא ישוב חרבו ילטוש קשתו דרך ויכוננה׃
12 (UKJV) "If he turn not, he will sharpen his sword; he has bent his bow, and made it ready. "

13 (HEM) ולו הכין כלי מות חציו לדלקים יפעל׃
13 (UKJV) "He has also prepared for him the instruments of death; he ordains his arrows against the persecutors. "

14 (HEM) הנה יחבל און והרה עמל וילד שקר׃
14 (UKJV) Behold, he labors with iniquity, and has conceived mischief, and brought forth falsehood.

15 (HEM) בור כרה ויחפרהו ויפל בשחת יפעל׃
15 (UKJV) He made a pit, and dug it, and is fallen into the ditch which he made.

16 (HEM) ישוב עמלו בראשו ועל קדקדו חמסו ירד׃
16 (UKJV) His mischief shall return upon his own head, and his violent dealing shall come down upon his own crown of the head.

17 (HEM) אודה יהוה כצדקו ואזמרה שם יהוה עליון׃
17 (UKJV) I will praise the LORD according to his righteousness: and will sing praise to the name of the LORD most high.
