Ž 7, 1-18

1 (KJV) O Lord my God, in thee do I put my trust: save me from all them that persecute me, and deliver me:
1 (KAT) Dávidov nárek. Zaspieval ho Pánovi pre Benjamínca Kúša.

2 (KJV) Lest he tear my soul like a lion, rending it in pieces, while there is none to deliver.
2 (KAT) Pane, Bože môj, k tebe sa utiekam, zachráň ma pred všetkými, čo ma prenasledujú, a vysloboď ma,

3 (KJV) O LORD my God, if I have done this; if there be iniquity in my hands;
3 (KAT) aby ma niekto neschvátil a neroztrhal ako lev, a nemal by som záchrancu.

4 (KJV) If I have rewarded evil unto him that was at peace with me; (yea, I have delivered him that without cause is mine enemy:)
4 (KAT) Pane, Bože môj, ak som sa čohosi zlého dopustil, ak som si ruky poškvrnil zločinom,

5 (KJV) Let the enemy persecute my soul, and take it; yea, let him tread down my life upon the earth, and lay mine honour in the dust. Selah.
5 (KAT) ak som sa dobrodincovi odplatil zlom, ak som nepriateľa olúpil a nechal bez pomoci,

6 (KJV) Arise, O LORD, in thine anger, lift up thyself because of the rage of mine enemies: and awake for me to the judgment that thou hast commanded.
6 (KAT) potom nech ma prenasleduje nepriateľ a nech sa ma zmocní a nech ma zašliape až do zeme a do prachu zrazí moju česť.

7 (KJV) So shall the congregation of the people compass thee about: for their sakes therefore return thou on high.
7 (KAT) Povstaň, Pane, vo svojom hneve, postav sa proti zúrivosti mojich nepriateľov. Bože môj, vystúp na súde, ktorý si ty nariadil.

8 (KJV) The LORD shall judge the people: judge me, O LORD, according to my righteousness, and according to mine integrity that is in me.
8 (KAT) I obklopí ťa zhromaždenie národov, ale ty si zasadni vysoko nad nimi.

9 (KJV) Oh let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end; but establish the just: for the righteous God trieth the hearts and reins.
9 (KAT) Pán je sudca národov. Súď ma, Pane, podľa mojej spravodlivosti a podľa mojej nevinnosti.

10 (KJV) My defence is of God, which saveth the upright in heart.
10 (KAT) Nech je už koniec zlobe hriešnikov. Posilni spravodlivého, ty, spravodlivý Bože, čo skúmaš myseľ a srdce.

11 (KJV) God judgeth the righteous, and God is angry with the wicked every day.
11 (KAT) Boh je moja obrana; on zachraňuje tých, čo majú srdce úprimné.

12 (KJV) If he turn not, he will whet his sword; he hath bent his bow, and made it ready.
12 (KAT) Boh je sudca spravodlivý; dáva výstrahy každý deň.

13 (KJV) He hath also prepared for him the instruments of death; he ordaineth his arrows against the persecutors.
13 (KAT) Ak sa hriešnik neobráti, naostrí svoj meč, napne luk a namieri.

14 (KJV) Behold, he travaileth with iniquity, and hath conceived mischief, and brought forth falsehood.
14 (KAT) Pripraví si smrtonosné zbrane, svoje šípy naplní ohňom.

15 (KJV) He made a pit, and digged it, and is fallen into the ditch which he made.
15 (KAT) Hľa, hriešnik počal neprávosť, ťarchavý je zlobou a plodí zločin.

16 (KJV) His mischief shall return upon his own head, and his violent dealing shall come down upon his own pate.
16 (KAT) Jamu vykopal a prehĺbil, lež sám padol do pasce, ktorú nastrojil.

17 (KJV) I will praise the LORD according to his righteousness: and will sing praise to the name of the LORD most high.
17 (KAT) Jeho zloba zosype sa mu na hlavu, temeno mu pritlačí jeho násilie.

18 ----
18 (KAT) Ale ja budem velebiť Pána pre jeho spravodlivosť a meno najvyššieho Pána budem ospevovať.

Verš 9

Oh let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end; but establish the just: for the righteous God trieth the hearts and reins.

1Krn 28:9 - And thou, Solomon my son, know thou the God of thy father, and serve him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind: for the LORD searcheth all hearts, and understandeth all the imaginations of the thoughts: if thou seek him, he will be found of thee; but if thou forsake him, he will cast thee off for ever.

Jer 11:20 - But, O LORD of hosts, that judgest righteously, that triest the reins and the heart, let me see thy vengeance on them: for unto thee have I revealed my cause.

Jer 17:10 - I the LORD search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings.

Jer 20:12 - But, O LORD of hosts, that triest the righteous, and seest the reins and the heart, let me see thy vengeance on them: for unto thee have I opened my cause.

Zjv 2:23 - And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works.

Verš 14

Behold, he travaileth with iniquity, and hath conceived mischief, and brought forth falsehood.

Jób 15:35 - They conceive mischief, and bring forth vanity, and their belly prepareth deceit.

Iz 59:4 - None calleth for justice, nor any pleadeth for truth: they trust in vanity, and speak lies; they conceive mischief, and bring forth iniquity.

Verš 15

He made a pit, and digged it, and is fallen into the ditch which he made.

Jób 4:8 - Even as I have seen, they that plow iniquity, and sow wickedness, reap the same.

Ž 9:15 - The heathen are sunk down in the pit that they made: in the net which they hid is their own foot taken.

Ž 10:2 - The wicked in his pride doth persecute the poor: let them be taken in the devices that they have imagined.

Prís 5:22 - His own iniquities shall take the wicked himself, and he shall be holden with the cords of his sins.

Prís 26:27 - Whoso diggeth a pit shall fall therein: and he that rolleth a stone, it will return upon him.

Kaz 10:8 - He that diggeth a pit shall fall into it; and whoso breaketh an hedge, a serpent shall bite him.
