1 Ž 7, 1 O Lord my God, in thee do I put my trust: save me from all them that persecute me, and deliver me: 2 Ž 7, 2 Lest he tear my soul like a lion, rending it in pieces, while there is none to deliver. 3 Ž 7, 3 O LORD my God, if I have done this; if there be iniquity in my hands; 4 Ž 7, 4 If I have rewarded evil unto him that was at peace with me; (yea, I have delivered him that without cause is mine enemy:) 5 Ž 7, 5 Let the enemy persecute my soul, and take it; yea, let him tread down my life upon the earth, and lay mine honour in the dust. Selah. 6 Ž 7, 6 Arise, O LORD, in thine anger, lift up thyself because of the rage of mine enemies: and awake for me to the judgment that thou hast commanded. 7 Ž 7, 7 So shall the congregation of the people compass thee about: for their sakes therefore return thou on high. 8 Ž 7, 8 The LORD shall judge the people: judge me, O LORD, according to my righteousness, and according to mine integrity that is in me. 9 Ž 7, 9 Oh let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end; but establish the just: for the righteous God trieth the hearts and reins. 10 Ž 7, 10 My defence is of God, which saveth the upright in heart. 11 Ž 7, 11 God judgeth the righteous, and God is angry with the wicked every day. 12 Ž 7, 12 If he turn not, he will whet his sword; he hath bent his bow, and made it ready. 13 Ž 7, 13 He hath also prepared for him the instruments of death; he ordaineth his arrows against the persecutors. 14 Ž 7, 14 Behold, he travaileth with iniquity, and hath conceived mischief, and brought forth falsehood. 15 Ž 7, 15 He made a pit, and digged it, and is fallen into the ditch which he made. 16 Ž 7, 16 His mischief shall return upon his own head, and his violent dealing shall come down upon his own pate. 17 Ž 7, 17 I will praise the LORD according to his righteousness: and will sing praise to the name of the LORD most high.

Verš 9
Oh let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end; but establish the just: for the righteous God trieth the hearts and reins.
1Krn 28:9 - And thou, Solomon my son, know thou the God of thy father, and serve him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind: for the LORD searcheth all hearts, and understandeth all the imaginations of the thoughts: if thou seek him, he will be found of thee; but if thou forsake him, he will cast thee off for ever.
Jer 11:20 - But, O LORD of hosts, that judgest righteously, that triest the reins and the heart, let me see thy vengeance on them: for unto thee have I revealed my cause.
Jer 17:10 - I the LORD search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings.
Jer 20:12 - But, O LORD of hosts, that triest the righteous, and seest the reins and the heart, let me see thy vengeance on them: for unto thee have I opened my cause.
Zjv 2:23 - And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works.
Verš 14
Behold, he travaileth with iniquity, and hath conceived mischief, and brought forth falsehood.
Jób 15:35 - They conceive mischief, and bring forth vanity, and their belly prepareth deceit.
Iz 59:4 - None calleth for justice, nor any pleadeth for truth: they trust in vanity, and speak lies; they conceive mischief, and bring forth iniquity.
Verš 15
He made a pit, and digged it, and is fallen into the ditch which he made.
Jób 4:8 - Even as I have seen, they that plow iniquity, and sow wickedness, reap the same.
Ž 9:15 - The heathen are sunk down in the pit that they made: in the net which they hid is their own foot taken.
Ž 10:2 - The wicked in his pride doth persecute the poor: let them be taken in the devices that they have imagined.
Prís 5:22 - His own iniquities shall take the wicked himself, and he shall be holden with the cords of his sins.
Prís 26:27 - Whoso diggeth a pit shall fall therein: and he that rolleth a stone, it will return upon him.
Kaz 10:8 - He that diggeth a pit shall fall into it; and whoso breaketh an hedge, a serpent shall bite him.
