1 (CPDV) A Psalm of David, which he sang to the Lord because of the words of Cush, the son of Jemini.
1 (HEM) שגיון לדוד אשר שר ליהוה על דברי כוש בן ימיני יהוה אלהי בך חסיתי הושיעני מכל רדפי והצילני׃
2 (CPDV) O Lord, my God, in you I have hoped. Save me from all those who persecute me, and free me:
2 (HEM) פן יטרף כאריה נפשי פרק ואין מציל׃
3 (CPDV) lest at any time, like a lion, he might seize my soul, while there is no one to redeem me, nor any who can save.
3 (HEM) יהוה אלהי אם עשיתי זאת אם יש עול בכפי׃
4 (CPDV) O Lord, my God, if there is iniquity in my hands, if I have done this:
4 (HEM) אם גמלתי שולמי רע ואחלצה צוררי ריקם׃
5 (CPDV) if I have repaid those who rendered evils to me, may I deservedly fall away empty before my enemies:
5 (HEM) ירדף אויב נפשי וישג וירמס לארץ חיי וכבודי לעפר ישכן סלה׃
6 (CPDV) let the enemy pursue my soul, and take hold of it, and trample my life into the earth, and drag down my glory into the dust.
6 (HEM) קומה יהוה באפך הנשא בעברות צוררי ועורה אלי משפט צוית׃
7 (CPDV) Rise up, Lord, in your anger. And be exalted to the borders of my enemies. And rise up, O Lord my God, according to the precept that you commanded,
7 (HEM) ועדת לאמים תסובבך ועליה למרום שובה׃
8 (CPDV) and a congregation of people will surround you. And, because of this, return on high.
8 (HEM) יהוה ידין עמים שפטני יהוה כצדקי וכתמי עלי׃
9 (CPDV) The Lord judges the people. Judge me, O Lord, according to my justice and according to my innocence within me.
9 (HEM) יגמר נא רע רשעים ותכונן צדיק ובחן לבות וכליות אלהים צדיק׃
10 (CPDV) The wickedness of sinners will be consumed, and you will direct the just: the examiner of hearts and temperaments is God.
10 (HEM) מגני על אלהים מושיע ישרי לב׃
11 (CPDV) Just is my help from the Lord, who saves the upright of heart.
11 (HEM) אלהים שופט צדיק ואל זעם בכל יום׃
12 (CPDV) God is a just judge, strong and patient. How could he be angry throughout every day?
12 (HEM) אם לא ישוב חרבו ילטוש קשתו דרך ויכוננה׃
13 (CPDV) Unless you will be converted, he will brandish his sword. He has extended his bow and made it ready.
13 (HEM) ולו הכין כלי מות חציו לדלקים יפעל׃
14 (CPDV) And with it, he has prepared instruments of death. He has produced his arrows for those on fire.
14 (HEM) הנה יחבל און והרה עמל וילד שקר׃
15 (CPDV) Behold him who has given birth to injustice: he has conceived sorrow and has begotten iniquity.
15 (HEM) בור כרה ויחפרהו ויפל בשחת יפעל׃
16 (CPDV) He has opened a pit and enlarged it. And he has fallen into the hole that he made.
16 (HEM) ישוב עמלו בראשו ועל קדקדו חמסו ירד׃
17 (CPDV) His sorrow will be turned upon his own head, and his iniquity will descend upon his highest point.
17 (HEM) אודה יהוה כצדקו ואזמרה שם יהוה עליון׃
18 (CPDV) I will confess to the Lord according to his justice, and I will sing a psalm to the name of the Lord Most High.

Verš 9
The Lord judges the people. Judge me, O Lord, according to my justice and according to my innocence within me.
1Krn 28:9 - And as for you, my son Solomon, know the God of your father, and serve him with a perfect heart and a willing mind. For the Lord searches all hearts, and understands the thoughts of all minds. If you seek him, you will find him. But if you abandon him, he will cast you aside for eternity.
Jer 11:20 - But you, O Lord of hosts, who judges justly, and who tests the temperament and the heart, let me see your vengeance against them. For I have revealed my case to you.
Jer 17:10 - I am the Lord, who examines the heart and tests the temperament, who gives to each one according to his way and according to the fruit of his own decisions.
Jer 20:12 - And you, O Lord of hosts, the Tester of the just, who sees the temperament and the heart: I beg you to let me see your vengeance upon them. For I have revealed my case to you.
Zjv 2:23 - And I will put her sons to death, and all the Churches shall know that I am the one who examines temperaments and hearts. And I will give to each one of you according to your works. But I say to you,

Jób 15:35 - He has conceived sorrow, and he has brought forth iniquity, and his womb prepares deceit.
Iz 59:4 - There is no one who calls for justice, and there is no one who judges truly. For they trust in nothing, and they speak emptiness. They have conceived hardship, and they have given birth to iniquity.

Behold him who has given birth to injustice: he has conceived sorrow and has begotten iniquity.

Z 7,1 - Kto je Kúša? Pravdepodobne bol to jeden zo Šaulových dvoranov alebo vodcov, ktorí nenávideli Dávida a za každú cenu sa snažili zbaviť sa ho.
Z 7,7 - "Vystúp na súde, ktorý si ty nariadil", značí skutočnosť, že Boh dobrých ochraňuje a zlých tresce, ale tu môže byť aj náznakom všeobecného súdu, ktorý proroci volajú "dňom Pánovým", tým viac, že v nasledujúcom verši prechádza myšlienka od súdu nad jednotlivcami na súd všeobecný.
Z 7,9 - "Súď ma, Pane, podľa mojej spravodlivosti". Žalmista prichádza pred trón Sudcu a dôverujúc v svoju nevinnosť, žiada o rozsudok. Hovorí nielen za seba, ale za všetkých spravodlivých. Tu treba vidieť aj centrálnu ideu celého žalmu.
