1 (HEM) למנצח מזמור לדוד שמע אלהים קולי בשיחי מפחד אויב תצר חיי׃
1 (UKJV) Hear my voice, O God, in my prayer: preserve my life from fear of the enemy.

2 (HEM) תסתירני מסוד מרעים מרגשת פעלי און׃
2 (UKJV) "Hide me from the secret counsel of the wicked; from the insurrection of the workers of iniquity: "

3 (HEM) אשר שננו כחרב לשונם דרכו חצם דבר מר׃
3 (UKJV) Who sharpen their tongue like a sword, and bend their bows to shoot their arrows, even bitter words:

4 (HEM) לירות במסתרים תם פתאם ירהו ולא ייראו׃
4 (UKJV) That they may shoot in secret at the perfect: suddenly do they shoot at him, and fear not.

5 (HEM) יחזקו למו דבר רע יספרו לטמון מוקשים אמרו מי יראה למו׃
5 (UKJV) "They encourage themselves in an evil matter: they commune of laying snares privately; they say, Who shall see them? "

6 (HEM) יחפשו עולת תמנו חפש מחפש וקרב איש ולב עמק׃
6 (UKJV) "They search out iniquities; they accomplish a diligent search: both the inward thought of every one of them, and the heart, is deep. "

7 (HEM) וירם אלהים חץ פתאום היו מכותם׃
7 (UKJV) "But God shall shoot at them with an arrow; suddenly shall they be wounded. "

8 (HEM) ויכשילוהו עלימו לשונם יתנדדו כל ראה בם׃
8 (UKJV) So they shall make their own tongue to fall upon themselves: all that see them shall flee away.

9 (HEM) וייראו כל אדם ויגידו פעל אלהים ומעשהו השכילו׃
9 (UKJV) "And all men shall fear, and shall declare the work of God; for they shall wisely consider of his doing. "

10 (HEM) ישמח צדיק ביהוה וחסה בו ויתהללו כל ישרי לב׃
10 (UKJV) "The righteous shall be glad in the LORD, and shall trust in him; and all the upright in heart shall glory. "
