1 (LS) Au chef des chantres. Sur instruments à cordes. De David. O Dieu! écoute mes cris, Sois attentif à ma prière!

2 (UKJV) From the end of the earth will I cry unto you, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I.
2 (LS) Du bout de la terre je crie à toi, le coeur abattu; Conduis-moi sur le rocher que je ne puis atteindre!

3 (UKJV) For you have been a shelter for me, and a strong tower from the enemy.
3 (LS) Car tu es pour moi un refuge, Une tour forte, en face de l'ennemi.

4 (UKJV) I will abide in your tabernacle for ever: I will trust in the covert of your wings. Selah.
4 (LS) Je voudrais séjourner éternellement dans ta tente, Me réfugier à l'abri de tes ailes. -Pause.

5 (UKJV) For you, O God, have heard my vows: you have given me the heritage of those that fear your name.
5 (LS) Car toi, ô Dieu! tu exauces mes voeux, Tu me donnes l'héritage de ceux qui craignent ton nom.

6 (UKJV) You will prolong the king's life: and his years as many generations.
6 (LS) Ajoute des jours aux jours du roi; Que ses années se prolongent à jamais!

7 (UKJV) He shall abide before God for ever: O prepare mercy and truth, which may preserve him.
7 (LS) Qu'il reste sur le trône éternellement devant Dieu! Fais que ta bonté et ta fidélité veillent sur lui!

8 (UKJV) So will I sing praise unto your name for ever, that I may daily perform my vows.
8 (LS) Alors je chanterai sans cesse ton nom, En accomplissant chaque jour mes voeux.
