1 (KJV) The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. Corrupt are they, and have done abominable iniquity: there is none that doeth good.
1 (ROH) Náčelníkovi speváckeho sboru na nápev: Machlat čiže Tambura. Vyučujúci žalm Dávidov.
2 (KJV) God looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, that did seek God.
2 (ROH) Blázon hovorí vo svojom srdci: Neni Boha. Zkazení sú a páchajú ohavnú neprávosť. Neni toho, kto by robil dobré.
3 (KJV) Every one of them is gone back: they are altogether become filthy; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.
3 (ROH) Bôh pozorujúc hľadel z nebies na synov človeka, aby videl, či je niekto rozumný medzi nimi, hľadajúci Boha.
4 (KJV) Have the workers of iniquity no knowledge? who eat up my people as they eat bread: they have not called upon God.
4 (ROH) Všetci dovedna sa obrátili zpät; zkazení sú; neni toho, kto by robil dobré, neni ani jedného.
5 (KJV) There were they in great fear, where no fear was: for God hath scattered the bones of him that encampeth against thee: thou hast put them to shame, because God hath despised them.
5 (ROH) Či toho nevedia činitelia neprávosti, ktorí zjedajú môj ľud, ako jedia chlieb, a na Boha nevolajú?
6 (KJV) Oh that the salvation of Israel were come out of Zion! When God bringeth back the captivity of his people, Jacob shall rejoice, and Israel shall be glad.
6 (ROH) Tam sa raz budú náramne desiť, kde nie je sa čoho desiť, pretože Bôh rozmece kosti tých, ktorí ťa obľahli táborom. Zahanbíš ich, lebo ich Bôh zavrhol.
7 ----
7 (ROH) Bárs by bolo dané spasenie Izraelovi so Siona! Keď navráti Bôh zajatých svojho ľudu, plesať bude Jakob, bude sa radovať Izrael.

Verš 1
The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. Corrupt are they, and have done abominable iniquity: there is none that doeth good.
Ž 10:4 - The wicked, through the pride of his countenance, will not seek after God: God is not in all his thoughts.
Ž 14:1 - The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.
Rim 3:12 - They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.
Verš 2
God looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, that did seek God.
Rim 3:11 - There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God.
