Žalmy

1 (KJV) Give ear to my words, O LORD, consider my meditation.
1 (HEM) למנצח אל הנחילות מזמור לדוד אמרי האזינה יהוה בינה הגיגי׃
1 (KAT) Zbormajstrovi. Hra na flautu. Dávidov žalm.

2 (KJV) Hearken unto the voice of my cry, my King, and my God: for unto thee will I pray.
2 (HEM) הקשיבה לקול שועי מלכי ואלהי כי אליך אתפלל׃
2 (KAT) Pane, počuj moje slová, všimni si moje vzdychanie.

3 (KJV) My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.
3 (HEM) יהוה בקר תשמע קולי בקר אערך לך ואצפה׃
3 (KAT) Pozoruj moju hlasitú prosbu, môj kráľ a môj Boh.

4 (KJV) For thou art not a God that hath pleasure in wickedness: neither shall evil dwell with thee.
4 (HEM) כי לא אל חפץ רשע אתה לא יגרך רע׃
4 (KAT) Veď ku tebe, Pane, sa modlím, za rána počúvaš môj hlas, za rána prichádzam k tebe a čakám.

5 (KJV) The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity.
5 (HEM) לא יתיצבו הוללים לנגד עיניך שנאת כל פעלי און׃
5 (KAT) Ty nie si Boh, ktorému by sa páčila neprávosť, zlý človek nepobudne pri tebe,

6 (KJV) Thou shalt destroy them that speak leasing: the LORD will abhor the bloody and deceitful man.
6 (HEM) תאבד דברי כזב איש דמים ומרמה יתעב יהוה׃
6 (KAT) ani nespravodliví neobstoja pred tvojím pohľadom.

7 (KJV) But as for me, I will come into thy house in the multitude of thy mercy: and in thy fear will I worship toward thy holy temple.
7 (HEM) ואני ברב חסדך אבוא ביתך אשתחוה אל היכל קדשך ביראתך׃
7 (KAT) Ty nenávidíš všetkých, čo páchajú neprávosť, ničíš všetkých, čo hovoria klamstvá. Od vraha a podvodníka sa odvracia Pán s odporom.

8 (KJV) Lead me, O LORD, in thy righteousness because of mine enemies; make thy way straight before my face.
8 (HEM) יהוה נחני בצדקתך למען שוררי הושר לפני דרכך׃
8 (KAT) No ja len z tvojej veľkej milosti smiem vstúpiť do tvojho domu a s bázňou padnúť na tvár pred tvojím svätým chrámom.

9 (KJV) For there is no faithfulness in their mouth; their inward part is very wickedness; their throat is an open sepulchre; they flatter with their tongue.
9 (HEM) כי אין בפיהו נכונה קרבם הוות קבר פתוח גרונם לשונם יחליקון׃
9 (KAT) Pane, veď ma vo svojej spravodlivosti pre mojich nepriateľov, urovnaj svoju cestu predo mnou.

10 (KJV) Destroy thou them, O God; let them fall by their own counsels; cast them out in the multitude of their transgressions; for they have rebelled against thee.
10 (HEM) האשימם אלהים יפלו ממעצותיהם ברב פשעיהם הדיחמו כי מרו בך׃
10 (KAT) Lebo v ich ústach úprimnosti niet, ich srdcia sú plné zrady; ich hrtan je ako otvorený hrob, na jazyku samé úlisnosti.

11 (KJV) But let all those that put their trust in thee rejoice: let them ever shout for joy, because thou defendest them: let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee.
11 (HEM) וישמחו כל חוסי בך לעולם ירננו ותסך עלימו ויעלצו בך אהבי שמך׃
11 (KAT) Súď ich, Bože, nech padnú pre svoje zámery; vyžeň ich pre množstvo ich zločinov, veď teba, Pane, rozhorčili.

12 (KJV) For thou, LORD, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield.
12 (HEM) כי אתה תברך צדיק יהוה כצנה רצון תעטרנו׃
12 (KAT) Nech sa tešia všetci, čo majú v teba dôveru, a naveky nech jasajú. Chráň ich a nech sa radujú v tebe, čo tvoje meno milujú.
