2 (ROH) Ohlás sa mi, keď volám, ó, Bože mojej spravedlivosti, ktorý si mi v úzkosti upriestranňoval. Zmiluj sa nado mnou a vyslyš moju modlitbu!

3 (CPDV) Sons of men, how long will you be dull in heart, so that whatever you love is in vain, and whatever you seek is false?
3 (ROH) Synovia smrteľného človeka, dokiaľ bude tupená moja sláva? Dokiaľ budete milovať márnosť, hľadať lož?! Sélah.

8 (CPDV) By the fruit of their grain, wine, and oil, they have been multiplied.
8 (ROH) A dáš do môjho srdca väčšiu radosť, ako majú oni vtedy, keď sa im urodí hojnosť zbožia, a keď natlačia množstvo vína.

9 (CPDV) In peace itself, I will sleep and I will rest.
9 (ROH) V pokoji oboje: i ľahnem i budem spať, lebo ty, Hospodine, mi sám dáš bývať bezpečne.

10 (CPDV) For you, O Lord, have established me singularly in hope.

Ž 4, 1-10

Verš 8
By the fruit of their grain, wine, and oil, they have been multiplied.
Ž 3:5 - I have cried out to the Lord with my voice, and he has heard me from his holy mountain.
Lv 26:5 - The threshing of the harvest shall last until the vintage, and the vintage shall overtake the sowing. And you shall eat your bread to fullness, and you shall live in your land without fear.
Dt 12:10 - You shall cross over the Jordan, and you shall live in the land which the Lord your God will give to you, so that you may have rest from all the surrounding enemies, and so that you may live without any fear,
Dt 33:28 - Israel shall live in confidence and alone, as the eye of Jacob in a land of grain and of wine; and the heavens shall be misty with dew.

Verš 4
And know this: the Lord has made wondrous his holy one. The Lord will heed me when I cry out to him.
Ef 4:26 - “Be angry, but do not be willing to sin.” Do not let the sun set over your anger.

Verš 5
Be angry, and do not be willing to sin. The things that you say in your hearts: be sorry for them on your beds.
Dt 33:19 - They shall summon the peoples to the mountain. There, they shall immolate the victims of justice, who feed on the flood of the sea, as if on milk, and on the hidden treasures of the sands.”
