Ž 33, 1-23

1 (CPDV) To David, when he changed his appearance in the sight of Abimelech, and so he dismissed him, and he went away.
1 (KAT) Plesajte, spravodliví, v Pánovi; statočným sluší spievať pieseň chvály.

2 (CPDV) I will bless the Lord at all times. His praise will be ever in my mouth.
2 (KAT) Oslavujte Pána citarou, hrajte mu na desaťstrunovej lutne.

3 (CPDV) In the Lord, my soul will be praised. May the meek listen and rejoice.
3 (KAT) Spievajte mu novú pieseň, nadšene mu hrajte a volajte na slávu.

4 (CPDV) Magnify the Lord with me, and let us extol his name in itself.
4 (KAT) Lebo Pánovo slovo je pravdivé a verné všetko jeho konanie.

5 (CPDV) I sought the Lord, and he heeded me, and he carried me away from all my tribulations.
5 (KAT) Miluje spravodlivosť a právo; milosti Pánovej plná je zem.

6 (CPDV) Approach him and be enlightened, and your faces will not be confounded.
6 (KAT) Pánovým slovom povstali nebesia a dychom jeho úst všetky ich voje.

7 (CPDV) This poor one cried out, and the Lord heeded him, and he saved him from all his tribulations.
7 (KAT) Ako do vreca hromadí morské vody, ako do nádrží zlieva oceány.

8 (CPDV) The Angel of the Lord will encamp around those who fear him, and he will rescue them.
8 (KAT) Celá zem nech má bázeň pred Pánom, pred jeho tvárou nech sa chvejú všetci obyvatelia sveta.

9 (CPDV) Taste and see that the Lord is sweet. Blessed is the man who hopes in him.
9 (KAT) Lebo on riekol a stalo sa, on rozkázal a všetko bolo stvorené.

10 (CPDV) Fear the Lord, all you his saints. For there is no destitution for those who fear him.
10 (KAT) Pán marí úmysly pohanov, navnivoč privádza myšlienky národov.

11 (CPDV) The rich have been needy and hungry, but those who seek the Lord will not be deprived of any good thing.
11 (KAT) Ale Pánov úmysel trvá naveky, myšlienky jeho srdca z pokolenia na pokolenie.

12 (CPDV) Come forward, sons. Listen to me. I will teach you the fear of the Lord.

18 (CPDV) The just cried out, and the Lord heard them, and 315 he freed them from all their tribulations.

19 (CPDV) The Lord is near to those who are troubled in heart, and he will save the humble in spirit.

20 (CPDV) Many are the afflictions of the just, but from them all the Lord will free them.

21 (CPDV) The Lord preserves all of their bones, not one of them shall be broken.
21 (KAT) V ňom sa naše srdce raduje a v jeho sväté meno máme dôveru.

22 (CPDV) The death of a sinner is very harmful, and those who hate the just will fare badly.
22 (KAT) Tvoje milosrdenstvo, Pane, nech je nad nami, ako dúfame v teba.

23 (CPDV) The Lord will redeem the souls of his servants, and none of those who hope in him will fare badly.

Ž 147:1 - Alleluia. Praise the Lord, O Jerusalem. Praise your God, O Zion.

Verš 3

In the Lord, my soul will be praised. May the meek listen and rejoice.

Ž 40:3 - May the Lord preserve him and give him life, and make him blessed upon the earth. And may he not hand him over to the will of his adversaries.

Ž 96:1 - This is to David, when his land was restored to him. The Lord has reigned, let the earth exult. Let the many islands rejoice.

Verš 5

I sought the Lord, and he heeded me, and he carried me away from all my tribulations.

Ž 45:7 - The peoples have been disturbed, and the kingdoms have been bowed down. He uttered his voice: the earth has been moved.

Heb 1:9 - You have loved justice, and you have hated iniquity. Because of this, God, your God, has anointed you with the oil of exultation, above your companions.”

Approach him and be enlightened, and your faces will not be confounded.

Gn 1:6 - God also said, “Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide waters from waters.”

Verš 10

Fear the Lord, all you his saints. For there is no destitution for those who fear him.

Iz 19:3 - And the spirit of Egypt will be ruptured to its very core. And I will cast down their plan violently. And they will seek answers from their false images, and their diviners, and those led by demons, and their seers.

Verš 11

The rich have been needy and hungry, but those who seek the Lord will not be deprived of any good thing.

Prís 19:21 - There are many intentions in the heart of a man. But the will of the Lord shall stand firm.

Prís 21:30 - There is no wisdom, there is no prudence, there is no counsel, which is against the Lord.

Iz 46:10 - From the beginning, I announce the last things, and from the start, the things that have not yet been done, saying: My plan will stand firm, and my entire will shall be done.

Verš 12

Come forward, sons. Listen to me. I will teach you the fear of the Lord.

Ž 65:4 - Let all the earth adore you and sing psalms to you. May it sing a psalm to your name.

Ž 144:15 - O Lord, all eyes hope in you, and you provide their food in due time.

Verš 18

The just cried out, and the Lord heard them, and 315 he freed them from all their tribulations.

Jób 36:7 - He will not take his eyes away from the just, and he continually establishes kings on their throne, and they are exalted.
