Ž 22, 1-31

1 (UKJV) My God, my God, why have you forsaken me? why are you so far from helping me, and from the words of my roaring?
1 (LS) Au chef des chantres. Sur Biche de l'aurore. Psaume de David. Mon Dieu! mon Dieu! pourquoi m'as-tu abandonné, Et t'éloignes-tu sans me secourir, sans écouter mes plaintes?

2 (UKJV) "O my God, I cry in the day time, but you hear not; and in the night season, and am not silent. "
2 (LS) Mon Dieu! je crie le jour, et tu ne réponds pas; La nuit, et je n'ai point de repos.

3 (UKJV) But you are holy, O you that inhabit the praises of Israel.

4 (UKJV) Our fathers trusted in you: they trusted, and you did deliver them.

5 (UKJV) They cried unto you, and were delivered: they trusted in you, and were not confounded.

6 (UKJV) "But I am a worm, and no man; a reproach of men, and despised of the people. "

7 (UKJV) All they that see me laugh me to scorn: they shoot out the lip, they shake the head, saying,

8 (UKJV) He trusted on the LORD that he would deliver him: let him deliver him, seeing he delighted in him.

9 (UKJV) But you are he that took me out of the womb: you did make me hope when I was upon my mother's breasts.
9 (LS) Oui, tu m'as fait sortir du sein maternel, Tu m'as mis en sûreté sur les mamelles de ma mère;

10 (UKJV) I was cast upon you from the womb: you are my God from my mother's belly.

11 (UKJV) "Be not far from me; for trouble is near; for there is none to help. "

12 (UKJV) Many bulls have compassed me: strong bulls of Bashan have beset me round.

13 (UKJV) They gaped upon me with their mouths, as a ravening and a roaring lion.

14 (UKJV) "I am poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint: my heart is like wax; it is melted in the midst of my bowels. "

15 (UKJV) "My strength is dried up like a potsherd; and my tongue cleaves to my jaws; and you have brought me into the dust of death. "

16 (UKJV) For dogs have compassed me: the assembly of the wicked have enclosed me: they pierced my hands and my feet.

17 (UKJV) I may tell all my bones: they look and stare upon me.
17 (LS) Je pourrais compter tous mes os. Eux, ils observent, ils me regardent;

18 (UKJV) They part my garments among them, and cast lots upon my vesture.

19 (UKJV) But be not you far from me, O LORD: O my strength, haste you to help me.

20 (UKJV) "Deliver my soul from the sword; my darling from the power of the dog. "

21 (UKJV) Save me from the lion's mouth: for you have heard me from the horns of the unicorns.
21 (LS) Sauve-moi de la gueule du lion, Délivre-moi des cornes du buffle!

22 (UKJV) I will declare your name unto my brethren: in the midst of the congregation will I praise you.
22 (LS) Je publierai ton nom parmi mes frères, Je te célébrerai au milieu de l'assemblée.

23 (UKJV) "All of you that fear the LORD, praise him; all you the seed of Jacob, glorify him; and fear him, all you the seed of Israel. "
23 (LS) Vous qui craignez l'Eternel, louez-le! Vous tous, postérité de Jacob, glorifiez-le! Tremblez devant lui, vous tous, postérité d'Israël!

24 (UKJV) "For he has not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the afflicted; neither has he hid his face from him; but when he cried unto him, he heard. "

25 (UKJV) My praise shall be of you in the great congregation: I will pay my vows before them that fear him.

26 (UKJV) The meek shall eat and be satisfied: they shall praise the LORD that seek him: your heart shall live for ever.

27 (UKJV) All the ends of the world shall remember and turn unto the LORD: and all the families of the nations shall worship before you.

28 (UKJV) For the kingdom is the LORD's: and he is the governor among the nations.

29 (UKJV) All they that be fat upon earth shall eat and worship: all they that go down to the dust shall bow before him: and none can keep alive his own soul.

30 (UKJV) "A seed shall serve him; it shall be accounted to the Lord for a generation. "

Z 22,13 - Je to obraz tvrdej, bezohľadnej sily, obraz zúrivosti a bezcitnosti. Bášan je krajina na východ od Jordána.

Z 22,17-19 - "Prebodli mi ruky a nohy". (Hebrejský text na tomto mieste je nejasný, preto volíme zmysel podľa starších prekladov ako LXX, V., preklad sýrsky, etiópsky a arabský). 17. verš ostáva jedným z najvýraznejších proroctiev SZ, lebo Dávid tu opisuje spôsob Mesiášovej smrti napriek tomu, že Židia, kým neprišli do styku s rímskym svetom, o kríži nevedeli (porov. Jn 19,37).

To znamenajú slová: "Svoje sľuby splním" (Lv 7,16; Prís 7,14).
