1 (VUL) ALLELUIA. Laudate Dominum in sanctuario eius, laudate eum in firmamento virtutis eius.
1 (UKJV) Praise all of you the LORD. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power.
2 (VUL) Laudate eum in magnalibus eius, laudate eum secundum multitudinem magnitudinis eius.
2 (UKJV) Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness.
3 (VUL) Laudate eum in sono tubae, laudate eum in psalterio et cithara,
3 (UKJV) Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp.

ALLELUIA. Laudate Dominum in sanctuario eius, laudate eum in firmamento virtutis eius.
Iz 6:3 - Et clamabat alter ad alterum et dicebat: “ Sanctus, Sanctus, Sanctus Dominus exercituum; plena est omnis terra gloria eius ”.
Z 150 - Tento žalm je doxológiou, záverečným chválospevom nielen k 5. knihe žalmov, ale aj k celému Žaltáru. - Obsahovo sa podobá 148. žalmu.
Z 150,1 - "Chváľte Pána v jeho svätyni", rozumej v pozemskom chráme. Teda ľudia majú chváliť Pána. - "Chváľte ho na jeho vznešenej oblohe", čiže v nebeskom chráme, v nebi. Pána majú chváliť aj anjeli a všetko, čo je v nebi (pozri Ž 148,2-6).
Z 150,4 - U Izraelitov ako aj u iných semitských národov bol tanec dôležitým náboženským prejavom.
