1 (KJV) LORD, who shall abide in thy tabernacle? who shall dwell in thy holy hill?
1 (B21) Žalm Davidův. Kdo, Hospodine, ve tvém stanu bude? Kdo bydlet smí na tvé svaté hoře?
2 (KJV) He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart.
2 (B21) Kdo žije bezúhonně a jedná spravedlivě, kdo mluví pravdu ze srdce,
3 (KJV) He that backbiteth not with his tongue, nor doeth evil to his neighbour, nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbour.
3 (B21) kdo jazykem svým nepomlouvá, neškodí bližnímu a neostouzí druha,
4 (KJV) In whose eyes a vile person is contemned; but he honoureth them that fear the LORD. He that sweareth to his own hurt, and changeth not.
4 (B21) kdo pohrdá těmi, kdo zaslouží zavržení, ctitelů Hospodina však váží si, kdo nemění to, co odpřisáhl, i kdyby na to doplatil,
5 (KJV) He that putteth not out his money to usury, nor taketh reward against the innocent. He that doeth these things shall never be moved.
5 (B21) kdo nepůjčuje na úroky a proti nevinnému se nedá podplatit. Kdo takto jedná, nikdy nezakolísá.

He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart.
Ž 24:4 - He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.
Iz 33:15 - He that walketh righteously, and speaketh uprightly; he that despiseth the gain of oppressions, that shaketh his hands from holding of bribes, that stoppeth his ears from hearing of blood, and shutteth his eyes from seeing evil;
Z 15 - Ako svedčí titul žalmu, žalm je od Dávida. Aj zmienka o stánku svedčí, že žalm je starý. Pre podobnosť so žalmom 24, ktorý bol napísaný pri príležitosti prenesenia archy zmluvy na Sion, mohol byť žalm napísaný v tých istých okolnostiach (2 Sam 12,6 a n.). Je zbierkou mravných príkazov; porov. Desatoro Ex 20,1-17.
Z 15,4 - "Bohabojní" - častý výraz v žalmoch a znamená ľudí veriacich, oddaných Bohu; neskôr aj pohanov, ktorí sympatizovali so Židmi, porov. Sk 2,11; 10,2.
