1 (KJV) I will extol thee, my God, O king; and I will bless thy name for ever and ever.
1 (B21) Chvalozpěv Davidův. Bože, můj Králi, tebe velebím, tvé jméno chválím navždy, navěky.

2 (KJV) Every day will I bless thee; and I will praise thy name for ever and ever.
2 (B21) Každý den tebe chválit chci, tvé jméno slavím navždy, navěky.

3 (KJV) Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable.
3 (B21) Veliký je Hospodin, vší chvály hodný, jeho velikost nelze nikdy pochopit!

4 (KJV) One generation shall praise thy works to another, and shall declare thy mighty acts.
4 (B21) Ať všechna pokolení tvé skutky opěvují, tvé mocné činy ať zvěstují.

5 (KJV) I will speak of the glorious honour of thy majesty, and of thy wondrous works.
5 (B21) Ať mluví o tvé kráse, slávě a velebnosti, zatímco přemýšlím o tvých zázracích.

6 (KJV) And men shall speak of the might of thy terrible acts: and I will declare thy greatness.
6 (B21) Ať hovoří o tvé ohromující moci, zatímco o tvé velikosti vyprávím.

7 (KJV) They shall abundantly utter the memory of thy great goodness, and shall sing of thy righteousness.
7 (B21) Ať hlásají památku tvé hojné dobroty, o tvé spravedlnosti ať zpívají:

8 (KJV) The LORD is gracious, and full of compassion; slow to anger, and of great mercy.
8 (B21) "Hospodin je milostivý a soucitný, nesmírně trpělivý a velmi laskavý!

9 (KJV) The LORD is good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works.
9 (B21) Ke všem je dobrotivý Hospodin, on cítí s každým ze svých stvoření!"

10 (KJV) All thy works shall praise thee, O LORD; and thy saints shall bless thee.
10 (B21) Ať tě, Hospodine, všechna stvoření slaví, ať ti dobrořečí věrní tví.

11 (KJV) They shall speak of the glory of thy kingdom, and talk of thy power;
11 (B21) O slávě tvého království ať vyprávějí, o tvých mocných činech ať hovoří.

12 (KJV) To make known to the sons of men his mighty acts, and the glorious majesty of his kingdom.
12 (B21) Všichni lidé ať se o jeho moci dozví, o slávě a kráse jeho království.

13 (KJV) Thy kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and thy dominion endureth throughout all generations.
13 (B21) Tvé království vládne nad všemi věky, tvé panování nad všemi pokoleními! Hospodin je věrný ve všem, co zaslíbil, ve všem, co působí, je laskavý.

14 (KJV) The LORD upholdeth all that fall, and raiseth up all those that be bowed down.
14 (B21) Hospodin podpírá všechny, kdo klesají, pozvedá všechny, kdo jsou sklíčení.

15 (KJV) The eyes of all wait upon thee; and thou givest them their meat in due season.
15 (B21) Oči všech k tobě vzhlížejí, abys je krmil v čase potřeby.

16 (KJV) Thou openest thine hand, and satisfiest the desire of every living thing.
16 (B21) Otevíráš ruku, abys nasytil touhy všech žijících.

17 (KJV) The LORD is righteous in all his ways, and holy in all his works.
17 (B21) Hospodin je spravedlivý ve všech cestách svých, ve všem, co působí, je laskavý.

18 (KJV) The LORD is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth.
18 (B21) Hospodin je blízký všem, kdo ho vzývají, všem, kdo ho vzývají v opravdovosti.

19 (KJV) He will fulfil the desire of them that fear him: he also will hear their cry, and will save them.
19 (B21) Naplňuje touhy těch, kdo ho ctí, slyší jejich křik a jde je zachránit.

20 (KJV) The LORD preserveth all them that love him: but all the wicked will he destroy.
20 (B21) Hospodin chrání všechny, kdo ho milují, všechny ničemy ale zahubí.

21 (KJV) My mouth shall speak the praise of the LORD: and let all flesh bless his holy name for ever and ever.
21 (B21) Hospodinova chvála ať z úst mi zní, jeho svaté jméno ať chválí každý smrtelník navždy, navěky!
