(UKJV - Anglický - Updated King James)

Ž 132, 1-18

1 (UKJV) Lord, remember David, and all his afflictions:

2 (UKJV) "How he swore unto the LORD, and vowed unto the mighty God of Jacob; "
2 (ROH) ktorý prisahal Hospodinovi, dal Všemohúcemu Jakobovmu sľub:

3 (UKJV) "Surely I will not come into the tabernacle of my house, nor go up into my bed; "
3 (ROH) Nevojdem do stánu svojho domu; nevyjdem na posteľ svojho ležišťa;

4 (UKJV) I will not give sleep to mine eyes, or slumber to mine eyelids,
4 (ROH) istotne nedám usnúť svojim očiam ani zdriemnuť svojim víčkam,

5 (UKJV) Until I find out a place for the LORD, an habitation for the mighty God of Jacob.
5 (ROH) dokiaľ nenajdem Hospodinovi miesta, príbytku Všemohúcemu Jakobovmu!

6 (UKJV) Lo, we heard of it at Ephratah: we found it in the fields of the wood.
6 (ROH) Hľa, počuli sme o ňom v Efrate; našli sme ho na poliach Jaara.

7 (UKJV) We will go into his tabernacles: we will worship at his footstool.

8 (UKJV) "Arise, O LORD, into your rest; you, and the ark of your strength. "
8 (ROH) Povstaň Hospodine, a idi na miesto svojho odpočinutia, ty i truhla tvojej sily.

9 (UKJV) "Let your priests be clothed with righteousness; and let your saints shout for joy. "
9 (ROH) Tvoji kňazi nech oblečú spravedlivosť, a tvoji svätí nech plesajú!

10 (UKJV) For your servant David's sake turn not away the face of your anointed.
10 (ROH) Pre Dávida, svojho služobníka, neodvráť tvári svojho pomazaného!

11 (UKJV) "The LORD has sworn in truth unto David; he will not turn from it; Of the fruit of your body will I set upon your throne. "

12 (UKJV) If your children will keep my covenant and my testimony that I shall teach them, their children shall also sit upon your throne for evermore.

13 (UKJV) "For the LORD has chosen Zion; he has desired it for his habitation. "
13 (ROH) Lebo Hospodin si vyvolil Sion, oň si žiada za svoj príbytok, ako povedal:

14 (UKJV) "This is my rest for ever: here will I dwell; for I have desired it. "
14 (ROH) Toto bude miestom môjho odpočinutia až na veky; tu budem bývať, lebo oň si žiadam.

15 (UKJV) I will abundantly bless her provision: I will satisfy her poor with bread.
15 (ROH) Jeho potravu istotne a hojne požehnám; jeho chudobných nasýtim chlebom;

16 (UKJV) I will also clothe her priests with salvation: and her saints shall shout aloud for joy.
16 (ROH) jeho kňazov oblečiem v spasenie, a jeho svätí budú a istotne budú plesať.

17 (UKJV) There will I make the horn of David to bud: I have ordained a lamp for mine anointed.
17 (ROH) Tam dám vyrásť rohu Dávidovmu a pripravím svojmu pomazanému sviecu.

18 (UKJV) His enemies will I clothe with shame: but upon himself shall his crown flourish.
18 (ROH) Jeho nepriateľov odejem hanbou, a nad ním bude kvitnúť jeho koruna.

1Kr 8:25 - "Therefore now, LORD God of Israel, keep with your servant David my father that you promised him, saying, There shall not fail you a man in my sight to sit on the throne of Israel; so that your children take heed to their way, that they walk before me as you have walked before me. "
2Krn 6:16 - "Now therefore, O LORD God of Israel, keep with your servant David my father that which you have promised him, saying, There shall not fail you a man in my sight to sit upon the throne of Israel; yet so that your children take heed to their way to walk in my law, as you have walked before me. "
Lk 1:69 - "And has raised up an horn of salvation for us in the house of his servant David; "

Verš 16
I will also clothe her priests with salvation: and her saints shall shout aloud for joy.
2Krn 6:41 - Now therefore arise, O LORD God, into your resting place, you, and the ark of your strength: let your priests, O LORD God, be clothed with salvation, and let your saints rejoice in goodness.

Verš 3
"Surely I will not come into the tabernacle of my house, nor go up into my bed; "
1Krn 15:1 - And David made him houses in the city of David, and prepared a place for the ark of God, and pitched for it a tent.

Verš 14
"This is my rest for ever: here will I dwell; for I have desired it. "
Ž 132:8 - "Arise, O LORD, into your rest; you, and the ark of your strength. "
Ž 68:16 - "Why leap all of you, all of you high hills? this is the hill which God desires to dwell in; yea, the LORD will dwell in it for ever. "

Verš 17
There will I make the horn of David to bud: I have ordained a lamp for mine anointed.
Lk 1:69 - "And has raised up an horn of salvation for us in the house of his servant David; "
