Ž 132, 1-18

1 (KJV) LORD, remember David, and all his afflictions:
1 (KAT) Pútnická pieseň. Pane, pamätaj na Dávida a na jeho veľkú ochotu,

2 (KJV) How he sware unto the LORD, and vowed unto the mighty God of Jacob;
2 (KAT) že prisahal Pánovi a mocnému Bohu Jakubovmu zložil sľub:

3 (KJV) Surely I will not come into the tabernacle of my house, nor go up into my bed;
3 (KAT) „Do príbytku svojho domu nevkročím, ani sa neuložím na svoje lôžko;

4 (KJV) I will not give sleep to mine eyes, or slumber to mine eyelids,
4 (KAT) svojim očiam nedoprajem spánku ani svojim viečkam zdriemnutia,

5 (KJV) Until I find out a place for the LORD, an habitation for the mighty God of Jacob.
5 (KAT) kým nenájdem miesto pre Pána, príbytok pre mocného Jakubovho Boha.“

6 (KJV) Lo, we heard of it at Ephratah: we found it in the fields of the wood.
6 (KAT) Počuli sme, že archa je v Efrate, a našli sme ju na jaarských nivách.

7 (KJV) We will go into his tabernacles: we will worship at his footstool.
7 (KAT) Vstúpme teda do Pánovho príbytku a padnime k podnožke jeho nôh.

8 (KJV) Arise, O LORD, into thy rest; thou, and the ark of thy strength.
8 (KAT) Zaujmi, Pane, miesto svojho odpočinku, ty a archa tvojej všemoci.

9 (KJV) Let thy priests be clothed with righteousness; and let thy saints shout for joy.
9 (KAT) Tvoji kňazi nech sa odejú do spravodlivosti a tvoji svätí nech plesajú.

10 (KJV) For thy servant David's sake turn not away the face of thine anointed.
10 (KAT) Pre svojho služobníka Dávida neodmietaj tvár svojho pomazaného.

11 (KJV) The LORD hath sworn in truth unto David; he will not turn from it; Of the fruit of thy body will I set upon thy throne.
11 (KAT) Dávidovi sa Pán zaviazal prísahou; je pravdivá, nikdy ju neodvolá: „Potomka z tvojho rodu posadím na tvoj trón.

12 (KJV) If thy children will keep my covenant and my testimony that I shall teach them, their children shall also sit upon thy throne for evermore.
12 (KAT) Ak tvoji synovia dodržia moju zmluvu a moje príkazy, ktoré ich naučím, aj ich synovia budú sedieť na tvojom tróne naveky.“

13 (KJV) For the LORD hath chosen Zion; he hath desired it for his habitation.
13 (KAT) Lebo Pán si vyvolil Sion, želal si mať ho za svoj príbytok:

14 (KJV) This is my rest for ever: here will I dwell; for I have desired it.
14 (KAT) „To je miesto môjho odpočinku naveky; tu budem bývať, lebo som túžil za ním.

15 (KJV) I will abundantly bless her provision: I will satisfy her poor with bread.
15 (KAT) Štedro požehnám jeho komory, chlebom nasýtim jeho chudobných.

16 (KJV) I will also clothe her priests with salvation: and her saints shall shout aloud for joy.
16 (KAT) Jeho kňazov odejem do rúcha spásy a svätí budú plesať v radosti.

17 (KJV) There will I make the horn of David to bud: I have ordained a lamp for mine anointed.
17 (KAT) Tu Dávidovej moci dám vypučať, svojmu pomazanému pripravím svetlo.

18 (KJV) His enemies will I clothe with shame: but upon himself shall his crown flourish.
18 (KAT) Jeho nepriateľov hanbou zakryjem, no na jeho hlave zažiari diadém.“

Verš 11

The LORD hath sworn in truth unto David; he will not turn from it; Of the fruit of thy body will I set upon thy throne.

2Sam 7:12 - And when thy days be fulfilled, and thou shalt sleep with thy fathers, I will set up thy seed after thee, which shall proceed out of thy bowels, and I will establish his kingdom.

1Kr 8:25 - Therefore now, LORD God of Israel, keep with thy servant David my father that thou promisedst him, saying, There shall not fail thee a man in my sight to sit on the throne of Israel; so that thy children take heed to their way, that they walk before me as thou hast walked before me.

2Krn 6:16 - Now therefore, O LORD God of Israel, keep with thy servant David my father that which thou hast promised him, saying, There shall not fail thee a man in my sight to sit upon the throne of Israel; yet so that thy children take heed to their way to walk in my law, as thou hast walked before me.

Lk 1:69 - And hath raised up an horn of salvation for us in the house of his servant David;

Verš 16

I will also clothe her priests with salvation: and her saints shall shout aloud for joy.

2Krn 6:41 - Now therefore arise, O LORD God, into thy resting place, thou, and the ark of thy strength: let thy priests, O LORD God, be clothed with salvation, and let thy saints rejoice in goodness.

Verš 3

Surely I will not come into the tabernacle of my house, nor go up into my bed;

1Krn 15:1 - And David made him houses in the city of David, and prepared a place for the ark of God, and pitched for it a tent.

Verš 14

This is my rest for ever: here will I dwell; for I have desired it.

Ž 132:8 - Arise, O LORD, into thy rest; thou, and the ark of thy strength.

Ž 68:16 - Why leap ye, ye high hills? this is the hill which God desireth to dwell in; yea, the LORD will dwell in it for ever.

Verš 17

There will I make the horn of David to bud: I have ordained a lamp for mine anointed.

Lk 1:69 - And hath raised up an horn of salvation for us in the house of his servant David;

Z 132 - Žalm je mesiášsky, verše 11 a 12 sa v plnom zmysle vyplnia len na Mesiášovi. V žalme sa jasne rozlišuje Dávidova osoba od jeho potomka, Mesiáša.

Z 132,2 - "Mocný Jakubov" je pomenovanie Boha (Gn 49,24; Iz 49,26; 60,16).

Z 132,3 - 2 Sam 7,1-2; 1 Krn 17,1.

Z 132,6 - "Počuli sme, že archa je v Efrate" - keď mal Dávid preniesť archu zmluvy z Kirjatiarimu na Sion, zvesť o tom sa rozšírila po jeho kráľovstve. Počuli totižto, že je neďaleko Betlehema, odkiaľ pochádzal Dávid, v kraji Efrata. V žalme sa hovorí: "Našli sme ju na jaarských nivách", čo je to isté ako Kirjatiarim. Odtiaľ Dávid preniesol v slávnostnom sprievode archu na Sion (1 Sam 7,1; 2 Sam 6,2).

Z 132,8 - Slová sú známe už z Mojžišových čias. Izraeliti sa ich modlili vždy, keď sa archa pohýnala na cestu po púšti (Nm 10,35.36; Ž 68,2). Odteraz už nebude putovať z miesta na miesto, lebo odvtedy, čo ju odniesli zo Šíla (1 Sam 4,3 n.), nemala pevný príbytok.

Z 132,11 - "Dávidovi sa Pán zaviazal prísahou"- tieto slová sú paralelné so slovami 2. verša. Vzťahujú sa na Boží sľub, ktorý dal Pán Dávidovi skrze proroka Nátana v čase, keď Pán odkázal, aby mu Dávid nestaval chrám (2 Sam 7,5-16; Ž 89,4-5.29-38).

Z 132,17 - Tento verš sa nedá vysvetliť inakšie ako o Mesiášovi. Tak ho chápe celá katolícka tradícia.

Z 132,18 - Na hlave mesiášskeho kráľa bude naveky žiariť Pánov "diadém". Mesiáš bude kráľom Izraela.
