1 (UKJV) "Blessed is every one that fears the LORD; that walks in his ways. "
1 (LS) Cantique des degrés. Heureux tout homme qui craint l'Eternel, Qui marche dans ses voies!

2 (UKJV) For you shall eat the labour of your hands: happy shall you be, and it shall be well with you.
2 (LS) Tu jouis alors du travail de tes mains, Tu es heureux, tu prospères.

3 (UKJV) Your wife shall be as a fruitful vine by the sides of your house: your children like olive plants round about your table.
3 (LS) Ta femme est comme une vigne féconde Dans l'intérieur de ta maison; Tes fils sont comme des plants d'olivier, Autour de ta table.

4 (UKJV) Behold, that thus shall the man be blessed that fears the LORD.
4 (LS) C'est ainsi qu'est béni L'homme qui craint l'Eternel.

5 (UKJV) The LORD shall bless you out of Zion: and you shall see the good of Jerusalem all the days of your life.
5 (LS) L'Eternel te bénira de Sion, Et tu verras le bonheur de Jérusalem Tous les jours de ta vie;

6 (UKJV) Yea, you shall see your children's children, and peace upon Israel.
6 (LS) Tu verras les fils de tes fils. Que la paix soit sur Israël!
