Žalmy

1 (KJV) Unto thee lift I up mine eyes, O thou that dwellest in the heavens.
1 (KAT) Pútnická pieseň. Oči dvíham k tebe, čo na nebesiach prebývaš.

2 (KJV) Behold, as the eyes of servants look unto the hand of their masters, and as the eyes of a maiden unto the hand of her mistress; so our eyes wait upon the LORD our God, until that he have mercy upon us.
2 (KAT) Ako oči sluhov hľadia na ruky svojich pánov, ako oči služobníc hľadia na ruky svojej panej, tak hľadia naše oči na Pána, nášho Boha, kým sa nezmiluje nad nami.

3 (KJV) Have mercy upon us, O LORD, have mercy upon us: for we are exceedingly filled with contempt.
3 (KAT) Zmiluj sa, Pane, nad nami, zmiluj sa nad nami, lebo už máme dosť pohŕdania;

4 (KJV) Our soul is exceedingly filled with the scorning of those that are at ease, and with the contempt of the proud.
4 (KAT) lebo naša duša má už dosť výsmechu boháčov a pohŕdania pyšných.
