1 (UKJV) I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the LORD.
1 (LS) Cantique des degrés. De David. Je suis dans la joie quand on me dit: Allons à la maison de l'Eternel!

2 (UKJV) Our feet shall stand within your gates, O Jerusalem.
2 (LS) Nos pieds s'arrêtent Dans tes portes, Jérusalem!

3 (UKJV) Jerusalem is built as a city that is compact together:
3 (LS) Jérusalem, tu es bâtie Comme une ville dont les parties sont liées ensemble.

4 (UKJV) Where the tribes go up, the tribes of the LORD, unto the testimony of Israel, to give thanks unto the name of the LORD.
4 (LS) C'est là que montent les tribus, les tribus de l'Eternel, Selon la loi d'Israël, Pour louer le nom de l'Eternel.

5 (UKJV) For there are set thrones of judgment, the thrones of the house of David.
5 (LS) Car là sont les trônes pour la justice, Les trônes de la maison de David.

6 (UKJV) Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love you.
6 (LS) Demandez la paix de Jérusalem. Que ceux qui t'aiment jouissent du repos!

7 (UKJV) Peace be within your walls, and prosperity within your palaces.
7 (LS) Que la paix soit dans tes murs, Et la tranquillité dans tes palais!

8 (UKJV) For my brethren and companions' sakes, I will now say, Peace be within you.
8 (LS) A cause de mes frères et de mes amis, Je désire la paix dans ton sein;

9 (UKJV) Because of the house of the LORD our God I will seek your good.
9 (LS) A cause de la maison de l'Eternel, notre Dieu, Je fais des voeux pour ton bonheur.
