1 (KJV) I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the LORD.
1 (B21) Davidova poutní píseň. Raduji se, když slýchávám: "Pojďme do domu Hospodinova!"

2 (KJV) Our feet shall stand within thy gates, O Jerusalem.
2 (B21) Naše nohy se brzy postaví, Jeruzaléme, v branách tvých!

3 (KJV) Jerusalem is builded as a city that is compact together:
3 (B21) Jeruzalém je město výstavné, v jediný celek semknuté.

4 (KJV) Whither the tribes go up, the tribes of the LORD, unto the testimony of Israel, to give thanks unto the name of the LORD.
4 (B21) Do něho stoupají rodiny, rodiny Hospodinovy, aby oslavily jméno Hospodin, jak je v Izraeli svědectvím.

5 (KJV) For there are set thrones of judgment, the thrones of the house of David.
5 (B21) Zde přece zasedá soudní dvůr, zde zasedá dům Davidův!

6 (KJV) Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee.
6 (B21) Za pokoj Jeruzaléma se modlete: "Ti, kdo tě milují, ať žijí pokojně!

7 (KJV) Peace be within thy walls, and prosperity within thy palaces.
7 (B21) Pokoj ať vládne ve tvých zdech, v tvých palácích ať je bezpečně!"

8 (KJV) For my brethren and companions' sakes, I will now say, Peace be within thee.
8 (B21) Pro svoje bratry a své přátele za tvůj pokoj chci modlit se.

9 (KJV) Because of the house of the LORD our God I will seek thy good.
9 (B21) Pro dům Hospodina, našeho Boha, chci o tvé dobro usilovat!
