1 (HEM) שיר למעלות אשא עיני אל ההרים מאין יבא עזרי׃
1 (UKJV) I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence comes my help.

2 (HEM) עזרי מעם יהוה עשה שמים וארץ׃
2 (UKJV) My help comes from the LORD, which made heaven and earth.

3 (HEM) אל יתן למוט רגלך אל ינום שמרך׃
3 (UKJV) He will not suffer your foot to be moved: he that keeps you will not slumber.

4 (HEM) הנה לא ינום ולא יישן שומר ישראל׃
4 (UKJV) Behold, he that keeps Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.

5 (HEM) יהוה שמרך יהוה צלך על יד ימינך׃
5 (UKJV) The LORD is your keeper: the LORD is your shade upon your right hand.

6 (HEM) יומם השמש לא יככה וירח בלילה׃
6 (UKJV) The sun shall not strike you by day, nor the moon by night.

7 (HEM) יהוה ישמרך מכל רע ישמר את נפשך׃
7 (UKJV) The LORD shall preserve you from all evil: he shall preserve your soul.

8 (HEM) יהוה ישמר צאתך ובואך מעתה ועד עולם׃
8 (UKJV) The LORD shall preserve your going out and your coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.
