1 (UKJV) "Help, LORD; for the godly man ceases; for the faithful fail from among the children of men. "
1 (LS) Au chef des chantres. Sur la harpe à huit cordes. Psaume de David. Sauve, Eternel! car les hommes pieux s'en vont, Les fidèles disparaissent parmi les fils de l'homme.

2 (UKJV) They speak vanity every one with his neighbour: with flattering lips and with a double heart do they speak.
2 (LS) On se dit des faussetés les uns aux autres, On a sur les lèvres des choses flatteuses, On parle avec un coeur double.

3 (UKJV) The LORD shall cut off all flattering lips, and the tongue that speaks proud things:
3 (LS) Que l'Eternel extermine toutes les lèvres flatteuses, La langue qui discourt avec arrogance,

4 (UKJV) "Who have said, With our tongue will we prevail; our lips are our own: who is lord over us? "
4 (LS) Ceux qui disent: Nous sommes puissants par notre langue, Nous avons nos lèvres avec nous; Qui serait notre maître? -

5 (UKJV) "For the oppression of the poor, for the sighing of the needy, now will I arise, says the LORD; I will set him in safety from him that puffs at him. "
5 (LS) Parce que les malheureux sont opprimés et que les pauvres gémissent, Maintenant, dit l'Eternel, je me lève, J'apporte le salut à ceux contre qui l'on souffle.

6 (UKJV) The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.
6 (LS) Les paroles de l'Eternel sont des paroles pures, Un argent éprouvé sur terre au creuset, Et sept fois épuré.

7 (UKJV) You shall keep them, O LORD, you shall preserve them from this generation for ever.
7 (LS) Toi, Eternel! tu les garderas, Tu les préserveras de cette race à jamais.

8 (UKJV) The wicked walk on every side, when the vilest men are exalted.
8 (LS) Les méchants se promènent de toutes parts, Quand la bassesse règne parmi les fils de l'homme.
