Ž 12, 1-6

1 Unto the end. A Psalm of David. How long, O Lord? Will you forget me until the end? How long will you turn your face away from me? 2 How long can I take counsel in my soul, sorrowing in my heart throughout the day? 3 How long will my enemy be exalted over me? 4 Look upon me and listen to me, O Lord my God. Enlighten my eyes, lest I fall asleep forever in death, 5 lest at any time my enemy may say, “I have prevailed against him.” Those who trouble me will exult, if I have been disturbed. 6 But I have hoped in your mercy. My heart will exult in your salvation. I will sing to the Lord, who assigns good things to me. And I will sing psalms to the name of the Lord Most High.

Unto the end. A Psalm of David. How long, O Lord? Will you forget me until the end? How long will you turn your face away from me?

Iz 57:1 - The just man perishes, and there is no one who acknowledges it in his heart; and men of mercy are taken away, for there is no one who understands. For the just man has been taken away before the face of malice.

Verš 6

But I have hoped in your mercy. My heart will exult in your salvation. I will sing to the Lord, who assigns good things to me. And I will sing psalms to the name of the Lord Most High.

2Sam 22:31 - God, his way is immaculate; the eloquence of the Lord is an exacting fire. He is the shield of all who hope in him.

Prís 30:5 - Every word of God is fire-tested. He is a bronze shield to those who hope in him.

Z 12 - Modlitba v prorockom štýle. Proti ľudskej lži stojí pravda Božieho slova a Božích prísľubov.

Z 12,7 - Pretavené striebro… sedem ráz čistené - ide o hyperbolu najčistejšieho striebra, označujúcu, že Božie slovo neobsahuje v sebe nič iné, je len tým, čím je. Boží výrok je čistá pravda, čistá a ďaleká od ľudskej nedokonalosti. Boh určite dodrží svoje sľuby.
