Z 117 - Žalm je najkratší z celého žaltára a najkratšou hlavou v celom Svätom písme, ale je vzácny pre svoj obsah. Žalm je mesiášsky. Predpovedá obrátenie všetkých pohanov na pravú vieru (Rim 15,8-11).
