1 (HEM) אהבתי כי ישמע יהוה את קולי תחנוני׃
1 (UKJV) I love the LORD, because he has heard my voice and my supplications.

2 (HEM) כי הטה אזנו לי ובימי אקרא׃
2 (UKJV) Because he has inclined his ear unto me, therefore will I call upon him as long as I live.

3 (HEM) אפפוני חבלי מות ומצרי שאול מצאוני צרה ויגון אמצא׃
3 (UKJV) The sorrows of death compassed me, and the pains of hell got hold upon me: I found trouble and sorrow.

4 (HEM) ובשם יהוה אקרא אנה יהוה מלטה נפשי׃
4 (UKJV) "Then called I upon the name of the LORD; O LORD, I plead to you, deliver my soul. "

5 (HEM) חנון יהוה וצדיק ואלהינו מרחם׃
5 (UKJV) "Gracious is the LORD, and righteous; yea, our God is merciful. "

6 (HEM) שמר פתאים יהוה דלותי ולי יהושיע׃
6 (UKJV) The LORD perserves the simple: I was brought low, and he helped me.

7 (HEM) שובי נפשי למנוחיכי כי יהוה גמל עליכי׃
7 (UKJV) "Return unto your rest, O my soul; for the LORD has dealt bountifully with you. "

8 (HEM) כי חלצת נפשי ממות את עיני מן דמעה את רגלי מדחי׃
8 (UKJV) For you have delivered my soul from death, mine eyes from tears, and my feet from falling.

9 (HEM) אתהלך לפני יהוה בארצות החיים׃
9 (UKJV) I will walk before the LORD in the land of the living.

10 (HEM) האמנתי כי אדבר אני עניתי מאד׃
10 (UKJV) I believed, therefore have I spoken: I was greatly afflicted:

11 (HEM) אני אמרתי בחפזי כל האדם כזב׃
11 (UKJV) I said in my haste, All men are liars.

12 (HEM) מה אשיב ליהוה כל תגמולוהי עלי׃
12 (UKJV) What shall I render unto the LORD for all his benefits toward me?

13 (HEM) כוס ישועות אשא ובשם יהוה אקרא׃
13 (UKJV) I will take the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of the LORD.

14 (HEM) נדרי ליהוה אשלם נגדה נא לכל עמו׃
14 (UKJV) I will pay my vows unto the LORD now in the presence of all his people.

15 (HEM) יקר בעיני יהוה המותה לחסידיו׃
15 (UKJV) Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints.

16 (HEM) אנה יהוה כי אני עבדך אני עבדך בן אמתך פתחת למוסרי׃
16 (UKJV) "O LORD, truly I am your servant; I am your servant, and the son of your handmaid: you have loosed my bonds. "

17 (HEM) לך אזבח זבח תודה ובשם יהוה אקרא׃
17 (UKJV) I will offer to you the sacrifice of thanksgiving, and will call upon the name of the LORD.

18 (HEM) נדרי ליהוה אשלם נגדה נא לכל עמו׃
18 (UKJV) I will pay my vows unto the LORD now in the presence of all his people.

19 (HEM) בחצרות בית יהוה בתוככי ירושלם הללו יה׃
19 (UKJV) In the courts of the LORD's house, in the midst of you, O Jerusalem. Praise all of you the LORD.
