Žalmy

1 (UKJV) Praise all of you the LORD. Blessed is the man that fears the LORD, that delights greatly in his commandments.
1 (LS) Louez l'Eternel! Heureux l'homme qui craint l'Eternel, Qui trouve un grand plaisir à ses commandements.

2 (UKJV) His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed.
2 (LS) Sa postérité sera puissante sur la terre, La génération des hommes droits sera bénie.

3 (UKJV) Wealth and riches shall be in his house: and his righteousness endures for ever.
3 (LS) Il a dans sa maison bien-être et richesse, Et sa justice subsiste à jamais.

4 (UKJV) Unto the upright there arises light in the darkness: he is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous.
4 (LS) La lumière se lève dans les ténèbres pour les hommes droits, Pour celui qui est miséricordieux, compatissant et juste.

5 (UKJV) A good man shows favour, and lends: he will guide his affairs with discretion.
5 (LS) Heureux l'homme qui exerce la miséricorde et qui prête. Qui règle ses actions d'après la justice.

6 (UKJV) Surely he shall not be moved for ever: the righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance.
6 (LS) Car il ne chancelle jamais; La mémoire du juste dure toujours.

7 (UKJV) He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the LORD.
7 (LS) Il ne craint point les mauvaises nouvelles; Son coeur est ferme, confiant en l'Eternel.

8 (UKJV) His heart is established, he shall not be afraid, until he see his desire upon his enemies.
8 (LS) Son coeur est affermi; il n'a point de crainte, Jusqu'à ce qu'il mette son plaisir à regarder ses adversaires.

9 (UKJV) "He has dispersed, he has given to the poor; his righteousness endures for ever; his horn shall be exalted with honour. "
9 (LS) Il fait des largesses, il donne aux indigents; Sa justice subsiste à jamais; Sa tête s'élève avec gloire,

10 (UKJV) "The wicked shall see it, and be grieved; he shall gnash with his teeth, and melt away: the desire of the wicked shall perish. "
10 (LS) Le méchant le voit et s'irrite, Il grince les dents et se consume; Les désirs des méchants périssent.
