1 (HEM) למנצח לדוד מזמור אלהי תהלתי אל תחרש׃
1 (UKJV) "Hold not your peace, O God of my praise; "

2 (HEM) כי פי רשע ופי מרמה עלי פתחו דברו אתי לשון שקר׃
2 (UKJV) For the mouth of the wicked and the mouth of the deceitful are opened against me: they have spoken against me with a lying tongue.

3 (HEM) ודברי שנאה סבבוני וילחמוני חנם׃
3 (UKJV) "They compassed me about also with words of hatred; and fought against me without a cause. "

4 (HEM) תחת אהבתי ישטנוני ואני תפלה׃
4 (UKJV) For my love they are my adversaries: but I give myself unto prayer.

5 (HEM) וישימו עלי רעה תחת טובה ושנאה תחת אהבתי׃
5 (UKJV) And they have rewarded me evil for good, and hatred for my love.

6 (HEM) הפקד עליו רשע ושטן יעמד על ימינו׃
6 (UKJV) Set you a wicked man over him: and let Satan stand at his right hand.

7 (HEM) בהשפטו יצא רשע ותפלתו תהיה לחטאה׃
7 (UKJV) When he shall be judged, let him be condemned: and let his prayer become sin.

8 (HEM) יהיו ימיו מעטים פקדתו יקח אחר׃
8 (UKJV) "Let his days be few; and let another take his office. "

9 (HEM) יהיו בניו יתומים ואשתו אלמנה׃
9 (UKJV) Let his children be fatherless, and his wife a widow.

10 (HEM) ונוע ינועו בניו ושאלו ודרשו מחרבותיהם׃
10 (UKJV) Let his children be continually vagabonds, and beg: let them seek their bread also out of their desolate places.

11 (HEM) ינקש נושה לכל אשר לו ויבזו זרים יגיעו׃
11 (UKJV) "Let the extortionist catch all that he has; and let the strangers spoil his labour. "

12 (HEM) אל יהי לו משך חסד ואל יהי חונן ליתומיו׃
12 (UKJV) Let there be none to extend mercy unto him: neither let there be any to favour his fatherless children.

13 (HEM) יהי אחריתו להכרית בדור אחר ימח שמם׃
13 (UKJV) "Let his posterity be cut off; and in the generation following let their name be blotted out. "

14 (HEM) יזכר עון אבתיו אל יהוה וחטאת אמו אל תמח׃
14 (UKJV) "Let the iniquity of his fathers be remembered with the LORD; and let not the sin of his mother be blotted out. "

15 (HEM) יהיו נגד יהוה תמיד ויכרת מארץ זכרם׃
15 (UKJV) Let them be before the LORD continually, that he may cut off the memory of them from the earth.

16 (HEM) יען אשר לא זכר עשות חסד וירדף איש עני ואביון ונכאה לבב למותת׃
16 (UKJV) Because that he remembered not to show mercy, but persecuted the poor and needy man, that he might even slay the broken in heart.

17 (HEM) ויאהב קללה ותבואהו ולא חפץ בברכה ותרחק ממנו׃
17 (UKJV) As he loved cursing, so let it come unto him: as he delighted not in blessing, so let it be far from him.

18 (HEM) וילבש קללה כמדו ותבא כמים בקרבו וכשמן בעצמותיו׃
18 (UKJV) As he clothed himself with cursing like with his garment, so let it come into his bowels like water, and like oil into his bones.

19 (HEM) תהי לו כבגד יעטה ולמזח תמיד יחגרה׃
19 (UKJV) Let it be unto him as the garment which covers him, and for a girdle wherewith he is girded continually.

20 (HEM) זאת פעלת שטני מאת יהוה והדברים רע על נפשי׃
20 (UKJV) Let this be the reward of mine adversaries from the LORD, and of them that speak evil against my soul.

21 (HEM) ואתה יהוה אדני עשה אתי למען שמך כי טוב חסדך הצילני׃
21 (UKJV) But do you for me, O GOD the Lord, for your name's sake: because your mercy is good, deliver you me.

22 (HEM) כי עני ואביון אנכי ולבי חלל בקרבי׃
22 (UKJV) For I am poor and needy, and my heart is wounded within me.

23 (HEM) כצל כנטותו נהלכתי ננערתי כארבה׃
23 (UKJV) I am gone like the shadow when it declines: I am tossed up and down as the locust.

24 (HEM) ברכי כשלו מצום ובשרי כחש משמן׃
24 (UKJV) "My knees are weak through fasting; and my flesh fails of fatness. "

25 (HEM) ואני הייתי חרפה להם יראוני יניעון ראשם׃
25 (UKJV) I became also a reproach unto them: when they looked upon me they shook their heads.

26 (HEM) עזרני יהוה אלהי הושיעני כחסדך׃
26 (UKJV) Help me, O LORD my God: O save me according to your mercy:

27 (HEM) וידעו כי ידך זאת אתה יהוה עשיתה׃
27 (UKJV) "That they may know that this is your hand; that you, LORD, have done it. "

28 (HEM) יקללו המה ואתה תברך קמו ויבשו ועבדך ישמח׃
28 (UKJV) "Let them curse, but bless you: when they arise, let them be ashamed; but let your servant rejoice. "

29 (HEM) ילבשו שוטני כלמה ויעטו כמעיל בשתם׃
29 (UKJV) Let mine adversaries be clothed with shame, and let them cover themselves with their own confusion, as with a mantle.

30 (HEM) אודה יהוה מאד בפי ובתוך רבים אהללנו׃
30 (UKJV) "I will greatly praise the LORD with my mouth; yea, I will praise him among the multitude. "

31 (HEM) כי יעמד לימין אביון להושיע משפטי נפשו׃
31 (UKJV) For he shall stand at the right hand of the poor, to save him from those that condemn his soul.
