1 (UKJV) "Hold not your peace, O God of my praise; "
1 (ROH) Bože mojej chvály, nemlč!

2 (UKJV) For the mouth of the wicked and the mouth of the deceitful are opened against me: they have spoken against me with a lying tongue.
2 (ROH) Lebo ústa bezbožníka a ústa ľsti sa otvorily proti mne; hovoria so mnou lživým jazykom.

3 (UKJV) "They compassed me about also with words of hatred; and fought against me without a cause. "
3 (ROH) Obkľúčili ma slovami nenávisti a bojujú proti mne bez príčiny.

4 (UKJV) For my love they are my adversaries: but I give myself unto prayer.
4 (ROH) Za moju lásku útočia na mňa a ja mám len modlitbu.

5 (UKJV) And they have rewarded me evil for good, and hatred for my love.
5 (ROH) A skladajú na mňa zlé za dobré a odplácajú mi nenávisťou za moju lásku.

6 (UKJV) Set you a wicked man over him: and let Satan stand at his right hand.
6 (ROH) Ustanov nad ním bezbožníka, a satan nech mu stojí po jeho pravej ruke.

7 (UKJV) When he shall be judged, let him be condemned: and let his prayer become sin.
7 (ROH) Keď sa bude súdiť nech vyjde zpred súdu jako bezbožný a jeho modlitba nech mu je hriechom.

8 (UKJV) "Let his days be few; and let another take his office. "
8 (ROH) Jeho dní nech je málo; jeho úrad nech vezme iný.

9 (UKJV) Let his children be fatherless, and his wife a widow.
9 (ROH) Jeho synovia nech sú sirotami, a jeho žena nech je vdovou!

10 (UKJV) Let his children be continually vagabonds, and beg: let them seek their bread also out of their desolate places.
10 (ROH) Jeho synovia nech sú tulákmi, nech žobrú a nech hľadajú svoj chlieb zo svojich spustlých bývanísk.

11 (UKJV) "Let the extortionist catch all that he has; and let the strangers spoil his labour. "
11 (ROH) Nech shabe úžerník všetko, čo má, a to, čo nadobudol úlisnou prácou, nech rozchvátajú cudzí.

12 (UKJV) Let there be none to extend mercy unto him: neither let there be any to favour his fatherless children.
12 (ROH) Nech nemá nikoho, kto by mu preukázal milosť, ani nech nie je toho, kto by sa zmiloval nad jeho sirotami.

13 (UKJV) "Let his posterity be cut off; and in the generation following let their name be blotted out. "
13 (ROH) Jeho potomstvo nech vytnú, a v druhom pokolení nech je vyhladené ich meno!

14 (UKJV) "Let the iniquity of his fathers be remembered with the LORD; and let not the sin of his mother be blotted out. "
14 (ROH) Nech sa pamätá na neprávosť jeho otcov pred Hospodinom, a hriech jeho matere nech nie je vyhladený!

15 (UKJV) Let them be before the LORD continually, that he may cut off the memory of them from the earth.
15 (ROH) Nech sú stále pred Hospodinom, a nech vytne ich pamiatku zo zeme,

16 (UKJV) Because that he remembered not to show mercy, but persecuted the poor and needy man, that he might even slay the broken in heart.
16 (ROH) pretože nepamätal na to, aby činil milosť, ale prenasledoval človeka, biedneho a chudobného a zbitého srdcom, aby ho zavraždil.

17 (UKJV) As he loved cursing, so let it come unto him: as he delighted not in blessing, so let it be far from him.
17 (ROH) A keďže miloval kliatbu, nech tedy prijde na neho; nemal záľuby v požehnaní, nuž nech sa vzdiali od neho.

18 (UKJV) As he clothed himself with cursing like with his garment, so let it come into his bowels like water, and like oil into his bones.
18 (ROH) A tak oblečie kliatbu jako svoj odev, a vojde do jeho vnútorností jako voda a jako olej do jeho kostí.

19 (UKJV) Let it be unto him as the garment which covers him, and for a girdle wherewith he is girded continually.
19 (ROH) Nech mu je ako rúcho, ktorým sa odeje, a jako opasok, ktorý opáše navždy.

20 (UKJV) Let this be the reward of mine adversaries from the LORD, and of them that speak evil against my soul.
20 (ROH) To bude odplatou od Hospodina tých, ktorí útočia na mňa, a tých, ktorí hovoria zlé proti mojej duši.

21 (UKJV) But do you for me, O GOD the Lord, for your name's sake: because your mercy is good, deliver you me.
21 (ROH) Ale ty, Hospodine, môj Pane, učiň so mnou podľa svojej lásky pre svoje meno; lebo tvoja milosť je dobrá; vytrhni ma!

22 (UKJV) For I am poor and needy, and my heart is wounded within me.
22 (ROH) Lebo som biedny a chudobný, a moje srdce je zranené vo mne.

23 (UKJV) I am gone like the shadow when it declines: I am tossed up and down as the locust.
23 (ROH) Jako tôňa, keď sa nachyľuje, ta idem; striasajú ma jako kobylku.

24 (UKJV) "My knees are weak through fasting; and my flesh fails of fatness. "
24 (ROH) Moje kolená klesajú od pôstu, a moje telo schudlo.

25 (UKJV) I became also a reproach unto them: when they looked upon me they shook their heads.
25 (ROH) A ja som im za potupu; keď ma vidia, kývajú svojou hlavou.

26 (UKJV) Help me, O LORD my God: O save me according to your mercy:
26 (ROH) Pomôž mi, Hospodine, môj Bože! Zachráň ma podľa svojej milosti,

27 (UKJV) "That they may know that this is your hand; that you, LORD, have done it. "
27 (ROH) aby poznali, že je to tvoja ruka, že si to ty učinil, Hospodine!

28 (UKJV) "Let them curse, but bless you: when they arise, let them be ashamed; but let your servant rejoice. "
28 (ROH) Nech oni zlorečia, ale ty dobroreč. Keď povstanú, nech sa hanbia, a tvoj služobník nech sa raduje.

29 (UKJV) Let mine adversaries be clothed with shame, and let them cover themselves with their own confusion, as with a mantle.
29 (ROH) Moji odporcovia nech oblečú stud a nech sa odejú svojou hanbou jako plášťom!

30 (UKJV) "I will greatly praise the LORD with my mouth; yea, I will praise him among the multitude. "
30 (ROH) Veľmi budem oslavovať Hospodina svojimi ústy a budem ho chváliť medzi mnohými,

31 (UKJV) For he shall stand at the right hand of the poor, to save him from those that condemn his soul.
31 (ROH) pretože stojí po pravici chudobného, aby ho zachránil od tých, ktorí súdia jeho dušu.
