1 (UKJV) "O god, my heart is fixed; I will sing and give praise, even with my glory. "
1 (ROH) Pieseň. Žalm Dávidov.
2 (UKJV) Awake, psaltery and harp: I myself will awake early.
2 (ROH) Moje srdce je hotové, Bože; budem ti spievať a spievať ti budem žalmy i moja sláva.
3 (UKJV) I will praise you, O LORD, among the people: and I will sing praises unto you among the nations.
3 (ROH) Prebuď sa, harfo i citaro; nech zobudím rannú zoru!
4 (UKJV) For your mercy is great above the heavens: and your truth reachs unto the clouds.
4 (ROH) Oslavovať ťa budem medzi národami, Hospodine, žalmy ti budem spievať medzi ľuďmi.
5 (UKJV) "Be you exalted, O God, above the heavens: and your glory above all the earth; "
5 (ROH) Lebo tvoja milosť je väčšia nad nebesia, a tvoja pravda sahá až po najvyššie oblaky.
6 (UKJV) That your beloved may be delivered: save with your right hand, and answer me.
6 (ROH) Vyvýš sa, Bože, nad nebesia, nad celú zem tvoja sláva,
7 (UKJV) "God has spoken in his holiness; I will rejoice, I will divide Shechem, and mete out the valley of Succoth. "
7 (ROH) aby boli vytrhnutí tvoji milí. Zachráň svojou pravicou a ozvi sa nám!
8 (UKJV) "Gilead is mine; Manasseh is mine; Ephraim also is the strength of mine head; Judah is my lawgiver; "
8 (ROH) Bôh hovoril vo svojej svätosti; veseliť sa budem. Rozdelím Síchem a rozmeriam dolinu Sukkót.
9 (UKJV) "Moab is my pot for washing; over Edom will I cast out my shoe; over Philistia will I triumph. "
9 (ROH) Môj je Gileád, môj je i Manasses, a Efraim silou mojej hlavy, Júda môj zákonodarca.
10 (UKJV) Who will bring me into the strong city? who will lead me into Edom?
10 (ROH) Moáb mi je nádobou na umývanie. Na Edoma zahodím svoju obuv; budem jasať nad Filišteou.
11 (UKJV) Will not you, O God, who have cast us off? and will not you, O God, go forth with our hosts?
11 (ROH) Kto ma vovedie do ohradeného mesta? Kto ma sprevodí až do Edoma?
12 (UKJV) Give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man.
12 (ROH) Či azda nie ty, Bože, ktorý si nás bol zavrhol a nevychádzal si, Bože, s našimi vojskami?
13 (UKJV) Through God we shall do valiantly: for he it is that shall tread down our enemies.
13 (ROH) Udeľ nám pomoci pred naším protivníkom; lebo márna je pomoc človeka.

14 (ROH) V Bohu dokážeme hrdinskú silu, a on pošliape našich protivníkov.

Will not you, O God, who have cast us off? and will not you, O God, go forth with our hosts?
Ž 60:1 - "O God, you have cast us off, you have scattered us, you have been displeased; O turn yourself to us again. "
Verš 4
For your mercy is great above the heavens: and your truth reachs unto the clouds.
Ž 36:5 - "Your mercy, O LORD, is in the heavens; and your faithfulness reachs unto the clouds. "
Ž 57:10 - For your mercy is great unto the heavens, and your truth unto the clouds.
Z 108 - Táto lyrická báseň, "žalm - mizmôr", nie je samostatnou básňou, je totižto zložený zo žalmu 57,8-12 (verše 2-6) a 60,7-14 (verše 7-14).
