1 (HEM) הודו ליהוה קראו בשמו הודיעו בעמים עלילותיו׃
1 (UKJV) "O give thanks unto the LORD; call upon his name: make known his deeds among the people. "

2 (HEM) שירו לו זמרו לו שיחו בכל נפלאותיו׃
2 (UKJV) Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him: talk all of you of all his wondrous works.

3 (HEM) התהללו בשם קדשו ישמח לב מבקשי יהוה׃
3 (UKJV) Glory all of you in his holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek the LORD.

4 (HEM) דרשו יהוה ועזו בקשו פניו תמיד׃
4 (UKJV) Seek the LORD, and his strength: seek his face evermore.

5 (HEM) זכרו נפלאותיו אשר עשה מפתיו ומשפטי פיו׃
5 (UKJV) "Remember his marvellous works that he has done; his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth; "

6 (HEM) זרע אברהם עבדו בני יעקב בחיריו׃
6 (UKJV) O all of you seed of Abraham his servant, all of you children of Jacob his chosen.

7 (HEM) הוא יהוה אלהינו בכל הארץ משפטיו׃
7 (UKJV) He is the LORD our God: his judgments are in all the earth.

8 (HEM) זכר לעולם בריתו דבר צוה לאלף דור׃
8 (UKJV) He has remembered his covenant for ever, the word which he commanded to a thousand generations.

9 (HEM) אשר כרת את אברהם ושבועתו לישחק׃
9 (UKJV) "Which covenant he made with Abraham, and his oath unto Isaac; "

10 (HEM) ויעמידה ליעקב לחק לישראל ברית עולם׃
10 (UKJV) And confirmed the same unto Jacob for a law, and to Israel for an everlasting covenant:

11 (HEM) לאמר לך אתן את ארץ כנען חבל נחלתכם׃
11 (UKJV) Saying, Unto you will I give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance:

12 (HEM) בהיותם מתי מספר כמעט וגרים בה׃
12 (UKJV) "When they were but a few men in number; yea, very few, and strangers in it. "

13 (HEM) ויתהלכו מגוי אל גוי מממלכה אל עם אחר׃
13 (UKJV) "When they went from one nation to another, from one kingdom to another people; "

14 (HEM) לא הניח אדם לעשקם ויוכח עליהם מלכים׃
14 (UKJV) "He suffered no man to do them wrong: yea, he reproved kings for their sakes; "

15 (HEM) אל תגעו במשיחי ולנביאי אל תרעו׃
15 (UKJV) Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.

16 (HEM) ויקרא רעב על הארץ כל מטה לחם שבר׃
16 (UKJV) Moreover he called for a famine upon the land: he brake the whole staff of bread.

17 (HEM) שלח לפניהם איש לעבד נמכר יוסף׃
17 (UKJV) He sent a man before them, even Joseph, who was sold for a servant:

18 (HEM) ענו בכבל רגליו ברזל באה נפשו׃
18 (UKJV) Whose feet they hurt with fetters: he was laid in iron:

19 (HEM) עד עת בא דברו אמרת יהוה צרפתהו׃
19 (UKJV) Until the time that his word came: the word of the LORD tried him.

20 (HEM) שלח מלך ויתירהו משל עמים ויפתחהו׃
20 (UKJV) "The king sent and loosed him; even the ruler of the people, and let him go free. "

21 (HEM) שמו אדון לביתו ומשל בכל קנינו׃
21 (UKJV) He made him lord of his house, and ruler of all his substance:

22 (HEM) לאסר שריו בנפשו וזקניו יחכם׃
22 (UKJV) "To bind his princes at his pleasure; and teach his senators wisdom. "

23 (HEM) ויבא ישראל מצרים ויעקב גר בארץ חם׃
23 (UKJV) "Israel also came into Egypt; and Jacob sojourned in the land of Ham. "

24 (HEM) ויפר את עמו מאד ויעצמהו מצריו׃
24 (UKJV) "And he increased his people greatly; and made them stronger than their enemies. "

25 (HEM) הפך לבם לשנא עמו להתנכל בעבדיו׃
25 (UKJV) He turned their heart to hate his people, to deal subtlely with his servants.

26 (HEM) שלח משה עבדו אהרן אשר בחר בו׃
26 (UKJV) "He sent Moses his servant; and Aaron whom he had chosen. "

27 (HEM) שמו בם דברי אתותיו ומפתים בארץ חם׃
27 (UKJV) They showed his signs among them, and wonders in the land of Ham.

28 (HEM) שלח חשך ויחשך ולא מרו את דבריו׃
28 (UKJV) "He sent darkness, and made it dark; and they rebelled not against his word. "

29 (HEM) הפך את מימיהם לדם וימת את דגתם׃
29 (UKJV) He turned their waters into blood, and slew their fish.

30 (HEM) שרץ ארצם צפרדעים בחדרי מלכיהם׃
30 (UKJV) Their land brought forth frogs in abundance, in the chambers of their kings.

31 (HEM) אמר ויבא ערב כנים בכל גבולם׃
31 (UKJV) He spoke, and there came divers sorts of flies, and lice in all their coasts.

32 (HEM) נתן גשמיהם ברד אש להבות בארצם׃
32 (UKJV) He gave them hail for rain, and flaming fire in their land.

33 (HEM) ויך גפנם ותאנתם וישבר עץ גבולם׃
33 (UKJV) "He stroke their vines also and their fig trees; and brake the trees of their coasts. "

34 (HEM) אמר ויבא ארבה וילק ואין מספר׃
34 (UKJV) He spoke, and the locusts came, and caterpillars, and that without number,

35 (HEM) ויאכל כל עשב בארצם ויאכל פרי אדמתם׃
35 (UKJV) And did eat up all the herbs in their land, and devoured the fruit of their ground.

36 (HEM) ויך כל בכור בארצם ראשית לכל אונם׃
36 (UKJV) He stroke also all the firstborn in their land, the chief of all their strength.

37 (HEM) ויוציאם בכסף וזהב ואין בשבטיו כושל׃
37 (UKJV) He brought them forth also with silver and gold: and there was not one feeble person among their tribes.

38 (HEM) שמח מצרים בצאתם כי נפל פחדם עליהם׃
38 (UKJV) Egypt was glad when they departed: for the fear of them fell upon them.

39 (HEM) פרש ענן למסך ואש להאיר לילה׃
39 (UKJV) "He spread a cloud for a covering; and fire to give light in the night. "

40 (HEM) שאל ויבא שלו ולחם שמים ישביעם׃
40 (UKJV) The people asked, and he brought quails, and satisfied them with the bread of heaven.

41 (HEM) פתח צור ויזובו מים הלכו בציות נהר׃
41 (UKJV) "He opened the rock, and the waters gushed out; they ran in the dry places like a river. "

42 (HEM) כי זכר את דבר קדשו את אברהם עבדו׃
42 (UKJV) For he remembered his holy promise, and Abraham his servant.

43 (HEM) ויוצא עמו בששון ברנה את בחיריו׃
43 (UKJV) And he brought forth his people with joy, and his chosen with gladness:

44 (HEM) ויתן להם ארצות גוים ועמל לאמים יירשו׃
44 (UKJV) "And gave them the lands of the heathen: and they inherited the labour of the people; "

45 (HEM) בעבור ישמרו חקיו ותורתיו ינצרו הללו יה׃
45 (UKJV) That they might observe his statutes, and keep his laws. Praise all of you the LORD.
