1 (HEM) ברכי נפשי את יהוה יהוה אלהי גדלת מאד הוד והדר לבשת׃
1 (UKJV) "Bless the LORD, O my soul. O LORD my God, you are very great; you are clothed with honour and majesty. "

2 (HEM) עטה אור כשלמה נוטה שמים כיריעה׃
2 (UKJV) Who cover yourself with light as with a garment: who stretch out the heavens like a curtain:

3 (HEM) המקרה במים עליותיו השם עבים רכובו המהלך על כנפי רוח׃
3 (UKJV) Who lays the beams of his chambers in the waters: who makes the clouds his chariot: who walks upon the wings of the wind:

4 (HEM) עשה מלאכיו רוחות משרתיו אש להט׃
4 (UKJV) "Who makes his angels spirits; his ministers a flaming fire: "

5 (HEM) יסד ארץ על מכוניה בל תמוט עולם ועד׃
5 (UKJV) Who laid the foundations of the earth, that it should not be removed for ever.

6 (HEM) תהום כלבוש כסיתו על הרים יעמדו מים׃
6 (UKJV) You covered it with the deep as with a garment: the waters stood above the mountains.

7 (HEM) מן גערתך ינוסון מן קול רעמך יחפזון׃
7 (UKJV) "At your rebuke they fled; at the voice of your thunder they hasted away. "

8 (HEM) יעלו הרים ירדו בקעות אל מקום זה יסדת להם׃
8 (UKJV) "They go up by the mountains; they go down by the valleys unto the place which you have founded for them. "

9 (HEM) גבול שמת בל יעברון בל ישובון לכסות הארץ׃
9 (UKJV) "You have set a bound that they may not pass over; that they turn not again to cover the earth. "

10 (HEM) המשלח מעינים בנחלים בין הרים יהלכון׃
10 (UKJV) He sends the springs into the valleys, which run among the hills.

11 (HEM) ישקו כל חיתו שדי ישברו פראים צמאם׃
11 (UKJV) They give drink to every beast of the field: the wild asses quench their thirst.

12 (HEM) עליהם עוף השמים ישכון מבין עפאים יתנו קול׃
12 (UKJV) By them shall the fowls of the heaven have their habitation, which sing among the branches.

13 (HEM) משקה הרים מעליותיו מפרי מעשיך תשבע הארץ׃
13 (UKJV) He waters the hills from his chambers: the earth is satisfied with the fruit of your works.

14 (HEM) מצמיח חציר לבהמה ועשב לעבדת האדם להוציא לחם מן הארץ׃
14 (UKJV) "He causes the grass to grow for the cattle, and herb for the service of man: that he may bring forth food out of the earth; "

15 (HEM) ויין ישמח לבב אנוש להצהיל פנים משמן ולחם לבב אנוש יסעד׃
15 (UKJV) And wine that makes glad the heart of man, and oil to make his face to shine, and bread which strengthens man's heart.

16 (HEM) ישבעו עצי יהוה ארזי לבנון אשר נטע׃
16 (UKJV) "The trees of the LORD are full of sap; the cedars of Lebanon, which he has planted; "

17 (HEM) אשר שם צפרים יקננו חסידה ברושים ביתה׃
17 (UKJV) Where the birds make their nests: as for the stork, the fir trees are her house.

18 (HEM) הרים הגבהים ליעלים סלעים מחסה לשפנים׃
18 (UKJV) "The high hills are a refuge for the wild goats; and the rocks for the conies. "

19 (HEM) עשה ירח למועדים שמש ידע מבואו׃
19 (UKJV) He appointed the moon for seasons: the sun knows his going down.

20 (HEM) תשת חשך ויהי לילה בו תרמש כל חיתו יער׃
20 (UKJV) You make darkness, and it is night: wherein all the beasts of the forest do creep forth.

21 (HEM) הכפירים שאגים לטרף ולבקש מאל אכלם׃
21 (UKJV) The young lions roar after their prey, and seek their food from God.

22 (HEM) תזרח השמש יאספון ואל מעונתם ירבצון׃
22 (UKJV) The sun arises, they gather themselves together, and lay them down in their dens.

23 (HEM) יצא אדם לפעלו ולעבדתו עדי ערב׃
23 (UKJV) Man goes forth unto his work and to his labour until the evening.

24 (HEM) מה רבו מעשיך יהוה כלם בחכמה עשית מלאה הארץ קנינך׃
24 (UKJV) O LORD, how manifold are your works! in wisdom have you made them all: the earth is full of your riches.

25 (HEM) זה הים גדול ורחב ידים שם רמש ואין מספר חיות קטנות עם גדלות׃
25 (UKJV) So is this great and wide sea, wherein are things creeping innumerable, both small and great beasts.

26 (HEM) שם אניות יהלכון לויתן זה יצרת לשחק בו׃
26 (UKJV) There go the ships: there is that leviathan (p. sea serpent), whom you have made to play therein.

27 (HEM) כלם אליך ישברון לתת אכלם בעתו׃
27 (UKJV) "These wait all upon you; that you may give them their food in due season. "

28 (HEM) תתן להם ילקטון תפתח ידך ישבעון טוב׃
28 (UKJV) That you give them they gather: you open your hand, they are filled with good.

29 (HEM) תסתיר פניך יבהלון תסף רוחם יגועון ואל עפרם ישובון׃
29 (UKJV) You hide your face, they are troubled: you take away their breath, they die, and return to their dust.

30 (HEM) תשלח רוחך יבראון ותחדש פני אדמה׃
30 (UKJV) You send forth your spirit, they are created: and you renew the face of the earth.

31 (HEM) יהי כבוד יהוה לעולם ישמח יהוה במעשיו׃
31 (UKJV) The glory of the LORD shall endure for ever: the LORD shall rejoice in his works.

32 (HEM) המביט לארץ ותרעד יגע בהרים ויעשנו׃
32 (UKJV) He looks on the earth, and it trembles: he touches the hills, and they smoke.

33 (HEM) אשירה ליהוה בחיי אזמרה לאלהי בעודי׃
33 (UKJV) I will sing unto the LORD as long as I live: I will sing praise to my God while I have my being.

34 (HEM) יערב עליו שיחי אנכי אשמח ביהוה׃
34 (UKJV) My meditation of him shall be sweet: I will be glad in the LORD.

35 (HEM) יתמו חטאים מן הארץ ורשעים עוד אינם ברכי נפשי את יהוה הללו יה׃
35 (UKJV) Let the sinners be consumed out of the earth, and let the wicked be no more. Bless you the LORD, O my soul. Praise all of you the LORD.
