1 (UKJV) "Bless the LORD, O my soul. O LORD my God, you are very great; you are clothed with honour and majesty. "
1 (ROH) Dobroreč, moja duša, Hospodinovi! Hospodine, môj Bože, si veľmi veliký! Obliekol si veličenstvo a nádheru.
2 (UKJV) Who cover yourself with light as with a garment: who stretch out the heavens like a curtain:
2 (ROH) Odievaš sa svetlom ako rúchom; rozťahuješ nebesia, ako pokrovec,
3 (UKJV) Who lays the beams of his chambers in the waters: who makes the clouds his chariot: who walks upon the wings of the wind:
3 (ROH) ktorý si kleníš na vodách svoje paláce; ktorý si učinil oblaky svojím vozom; ktorý sa vznášaš na krýdlach vetra;
4 (UKJV) "Who makes his angels spirits; his ministers a flaming fire: "
4 (ROH) ktorý robíš vetry svojimi posly, svojimi svätoslužobníkmi plápolajúci oheň.
5 (UKJV) Who laid the foundations of the earth, that it should not be removed for ever.
5 (ROH) Založil si zem na jej stĺpoch tak, že sa nepohne na večné veky.
6 (UKJV) You covered it with the deep as with a garment: the waters stood above the mountains.
6 (ROH) Priepasťou si to všetko prikryl ako rúchom. Nad vrchami stály vody.
7 (UKJV) "At your rebuke they fled; at the voice of your thunder they hasted away. "
7 (ROH) Od tvojho karhania zutekaly; ponáhľaly sa pred hrmotom tvojho hromu.
8 (UKJV) "They go up by the mountains; they go down by the valleys unto the place which you have founded for them. "
8 (ROH) Vystúpily na vrchy; sostúpily do údolí na miesto, ktoré si im založil.
9 (UKJV) "You have set a bound that they may not pass over; that they turn not again to cover the earth. "
9 (ROH) Položil si hranice, aby neprekročily, aby sa nevrátily pokryť zem.
10 (UKJV) He sends the springs into the valleys, which run among the hills.
10 (ROH) Púšťaš pramene riečišťami, aby tiekly pomedzi vrchy.
11 (UKJV) They give drink to every beast of the field: the wild asses quench their thirst.
11 (ROH) Napájajú každý živočuch poľný; divokí osli uhášajú svoj smäd.
12 (UKJV) By them shall the fowls of the heaven have their habitation, which sing among the branches.
12 (ROH) Nad nimi hniezdi vtáctvo nebies; zpomedzi konárov vydávajú svoj hlas.
13 (UKJV) He waters the hills from his chambers: the earth is satisfied with the fruit of your works.
13 (ROH) Zvlažuješ vrchy zo svojich výšin; z ovocia tvojich diel sýti sa celá zem.
14 (UKJV) "He causes the grass to grow for the cattle, and herb for the service of man: that he may bring forth food out of the earth; "
14 (ROH) Dávaš, aby rástla tráva hovädu a bylina na službu človeka, aby tak vyvodil chlieb zo zeme.
15 (UKJV) And wine that makes glad the heart of man, and oil to make his face to shine, and bread which strengthens man's heart.
15 (ROH) A víno obveseľuje srdce smrteľného človeka, aby sa skvela tvár nad olej, a pokrm posilňuje srdce človeka.
16 (UKJV) "The trees of the LORD are full of sap; the cedars of Lebanon, which he has planted; "
16 (ROH) Nasycujú sa stromy Hospodinove, cedry Libanona, ktoré posadil,
17 (UKJV) Where the birds make their nests: as for the stork, the fir trees are her house.
17 (ROH) kde si vtáci robia svoje hniezda, bocian, ktorý má svoj dom na cyprusoch.
18 (UKJV) "The high hills are a refuge for the wild goats; and the rocks for the conies. "
18 (ROH) Vysoké vrchy sú kamzíkom, skaly útočišťom zajačkom.
19 (UKJV) He appointed the moon for seasons: the sun knows his going down.
19 (ROH) Učinil mesiac na určenie časov, a slnce zná svoj západ.
20 (UKJV) You make darkness, and it is night: wherein all the beasts of the forest do creep forth.
20 (ROH) Rozkladáš tmu, a je noc, v ktorej sa hemží všetka lesná zver.
21 (UKJV) The young lions roar after their prey, and seek their food from God.
21 (ROH) Ľvíčatá revú po koristi a idú hľadať svoj pokrm od silného Boha.
22 (UKJV) The sun arises, they gather themselves together, and lay them down in their dens.
22 (ROH) Keď vychádza slnce, zase sa shromažďujú a líhajú do svojich brlohov.
23 (UKJV) Man goes forth unto his work and to his labour until the evening.
23 (ROH) Tu zase vyjde človek po svojej práci, aby robil až do večera.
24 (UKJV) O LORD, how manifold are your works! in wisdom have you made them all: the earth is full of your riches.
24 (ROH) Jaké mnohé a veľké sú tvoje skutky, Hospodine! Všetky si múdre učinil! Zem je plná tvojho imania.
25 (UKJV) So is this great and wide sea, wherein are things creeping innumerable, both small and great beasts.
25 (ROH) Tu hľa, more, veľké a širošíre, kde je hmyzu bez počtu, zvierat malých i veľkých.
26 (UKJV) There go the ships: there is that leviathan (p. sea serpent), whom you have made to play therein.
26 (ROH) Tam chodia lode; tam i leviatán, ktorého si utvoril, aby sa v ňom hral.
27 (UKJV) "These wait all upon you; that you may give them their food in due season. "
27 (ROH) Všetko to tvorstvo očakáva na teba, aby si im dal pokrm, keď tomu čas.
28 (UKJV) That you give them they gather: you open your hand, they are filled with good.
28 (ROH) Keď im dávaš, sberajú; keď otváraš svoju ruku, sýtia sa dobrým.
29 (UKJV) You hide your face, they are troubled: you take away their breath, they die, and return to their dust.
29 (ROH) Keď skrývaš svoju tvár, desia sa; keď odnímaš ich ducha, mrú a navracajú sa k svojmu prachu.
30 (UKJV) You send forth your spirit, they are created: and you renew the face of the earth.
30 (ROH) A zase, keď posielaš svojho ducha, tvoria sa, a obnovuješ tvár zeme.
31 (UKJV) The glory of the LORD shall endure for ever: the LORD shall rejoice in his works.
31 (ROH) Nech je sláva Hospodinova na veky! Nech sa raduje Hospodin vo svojich dielach!
32 (UKJV) He looks on the earth, and it trembles: he touches the hills, and they smoke.
32 (ROH) Ktorý keď len pozrie na zem, trasie sa; keď sa dotkne vrchov, kúria sa.
33 (UKJV) I will sing unto the LORD as long as I live: I will sing praise to my God while I have my being.
33 (ROH) Spievať budem Hospodinovi, dokiaľ žijem; žalmy budem spievať svojmu Bohu, kým len trvám.
34 (UKJV) My meditation of him shall be sweet: I will be glad in the LORD.
34 (ROH) Nech mu je príjemné moje premýšľanie, a ja sa budem radovať v Hospodinovi.
35 (UKJV) Let the sinners be consumed out of the earth, and let the wicked be no more. Bless you the LORD, O my soul. Praise all of you the LORD.
35 (ROH) Nech vyhynú hriešnici zo zeme a bezbožníci tak, aby ich už nebolo!

Ž 103:1 - Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.
Ž 146:1 - Praise all of you the LORD. Praise the LORD, O my soul.
Verš 2
Who cover yourself with light as with a garment: who stretch out the heavens like a curtain:
Gn 1:6 - And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.
Jób 26:7 - He stretches out the north over the empty place, and hangs the earth upon nothing.
Verš 3
Who lays the beams of his chambers in the waters: who makes the clouds his chariot: who walks upon the wings of the wind:
Ž 18:10 - And he rode upon a cherub, and did fly: yea, he did fly upon the wings of the wind.
Iz 19:1 - The burden of Egypt. Behold, the LORD rides upon a swift cloud, and shall come into Egypt: and the idols of Egypt shall be moved at his presence, and the heart of Egypt shall melt in the midst of it.
Zjv 14:14 - And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle.

"Who makes his angels spirits; his ministers a flaming fire: "
Heb 1:7 - And of the angels he says, Who makes his angels spirits, (o. pneuma) and his ministers a flame of fire.
Verš 5
Who laid the foundations of the earth, that it should not be removed for ever.
Jób 26:7 - He stretches out the north over the empty place, and hangs the earth upon nothing.
Jób 38:4 - Where were you when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if you have understanding.
Ž 24:2 - For he has founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the floods.
Ž 78:69 - And he built his sanctuary like high palaces, like the earth which he has established for ever.
Verš 33
I will sing unto the LORD as long as I live: I will sing praise to my God while I have my being.
Ž 63:4 - Thus will I bless you while I live: I will lift up my hands in your name.
Ž 146:2 - While I live will I praise the LORD: I will sing praises unto my God while I have any being.
Verš 21
The young lions roar after their prey, and seek their food from God.
Jób 38:39 - Will you hunt the prey for the lion? or fill the appetite of the young lions,
Iz 31:4 - For thus has the LORD spoken unto me, Like the lion and the young lion roaring on his prey, when a multitude of shepherds is called forth against him, he will not be afraid of their voice, nor bring low himself for the noise of them: so shall the LORD of hosts come down to fight for mount Zion, and for the hill thereof.
Verš 27
"These wait all upon you; that you may give them their food in due season. "
Ž 145:15 - "The eyes of all wait upon you; and you give them their food in due season. "
Verš 29
You hide your face, they are troubled: you take away their breath, they die, and return to their dust.
Ž 30:7 - LORD, by your favour you have made my mountain to stand strong: you did hide your face, and I was troubled.
Z 104 - V žalme máme chválospev na Boha, stvoriteľa vesmíru. Tento hymnus zachováva poriadok Gn 1,1 - 2,3.
Z 104,2 - "Nebesia rozpínaš ako stan". Vesmír sa tu aj inde v SZ opisuje podľa toho, ako sa javí navonok, nie podľa vnútornej povahy vecí (porov. Iz 40,22; Gn 1,6).
Z 104,3 - "Nad vodami", čiže nad nebeským oceánom (horné vody Gn 1,7).
Z 104,26 - Boh predvídal a chcel, aby po mori brázdili lode, aj ony sú potom koniec koncov jeho dielom.
Z 104,31 - "Nech sa teší Pán" - porov. Gn 1,31: "A Boh videl… a bolo to veľmi dobré."
