2 (KJV) Who coverest thyself with light as with a garment: who stretchest out the heavens like a curtain:
2 (B21) Světlem jsi jak pláštěm zahalen, nebe jsi jako plachtu rozestřel!

3 (KJV) Who layeth the beams of his chambers in the waters: who maketh the clouds his chariot: who walketh upon the wings of the wind:
3 (B21) Svoje paláce jsi nad vodou postavil, jak vozy užíváš husté oblaky, vznášíš se na křídlech větrných.

4 (KJV) Who maketh his angels spirits; his ministers a flaming fire:
4 (B21) Vichry činíš svými posly, tvými služebníky jsou plameny!

5 (KJV) Who laid the foundations of the earth, that it should not be removed for ever.
5 (B21) Zemi jsi založil na jejích sloupech, navěky jí neotřese vůbec nic.

6 (KJV) Thou coveredst it with the deep as with a garment: the waters stood above the mountains.
6 (B21) Jak pláštěm přikryl jsi ji oceánem, vody stály i nad horami.

7 (KJV) At thy rebuke they fled; at the voice of thy thunder they hasted away.
7 (B21) Před tvojí hrozbou pak rozutekly se, před tvým burácením prchaly.

8 (KJV) They go up by the mountains; they go down by the valleys unto the place which thou hast founded for them.

9 (KJV) Thou hast set a bound that they may not pass over; that they turn not again to cover the earth.
9 (B21) Hranice dals jim, aby je nepřekročily, aby už nikdy nepřikryly zem!

10 (KJV) He sendeth the springs into the valleys, which run among the hills.
10 (B21) Ty pouštíš potoky do údolí, aby proudily mezi horami,

11 (KJV) They give drink to every beast of the field: the wild asses quench their thirst.
11 (B21) všechnu polní zvěř aby napájely, divocí osli aby u nich žízeň zahnali,

12 (KJV) By them shall the fowls of the heaven have their habitation, which sing among the branches.

13 (KJV) He watereth the hills from his chambers: the earth is satisfied with the fruit of thy works.

14 (KJV) He causeth the grass to grow for the cattle, and herb for the service of man: that he may bring forth food out of the earth;

15 (KJV) And wine that maketh glad the heart of man, and oil to make his face to shine, and bread which strengtheneth man's heart.

16 (KJV) The trees of the LORD are full of sap; the cedars of Lebanon, which he hath planted;
16 (B21) Hospodin sytí i své stromoví - libanonské cedry, které sám vysadil.

17 (KJV) Where the birds make their nests: as for the stork, the fir trees are her house.

18 (KJV) The high hills are a refuge for the wild goats; and the rocks for the conies.
18 (B21) Vysoké hory patří kamzíkům, skály jsou útočištěm králíků.

19 (KJV) He appointed the moon for seasons: the sun knoweth his going down.
19 (B21) Stvořil jsi měsíc, aby časy určoval, i samo slunce ví, kdy má zapadat.

20 (KJV) Thou makest darkness, and it is night: wherein all the beasts of the forest do creep forth.
20 (B21) Přivádíš tmu a noc se rozhostí, spoustou zvěře se lesy zahemží.

21 (KJV) The young lions roar after their prey, and seek their meat from God.

22 (KJV) The sun ariseth, they gather themselves together, and lay them down in their dens.

23 (KJV) Man goeth forth unto his work and to his labour until the evening.

24 (KJV) O LORD, how manifold are thy works! in wisdom hast thou made them all: the earth is full of thy riches.
24 (B21) Kolik je, Hospodine, skutků tvých! Všechno jsi moudře učinil - země je plná tvých stvoření!

25 (KJV) So is this great and wide sea, wherein are things creeping innumerable, both small and great beasts.

26 (KJV) There go the ships: there is that leviathan, whom thou hast made to play therein.
26 (B21) Plují v něm lodě a také leviatan, jehož jsi stvořil, aby si tam hrál!

27 (KJV) These wait all upon thee; that thou mayest give them their meat in due season.
27 (B21) Ti všichni k tobě vzhlížejí, abys je krmil v čase potřeby.

28 (KJV) That thou givest them they gather: thou openest thine hand, they are filled with good.
28 (B21) Dáváš jim a oni sbírají, když otevřeš ruku, sytí se hojností.

29 (KJV) Thou hidest thy face, they are troubled: thou takest away their breath, they die, and return to their dust.

30 (KJV) Thou sendest forth thy spirit, they are created: and thou renewest the face of the earth.
30 (B21) Svého Ducha když pošleš, bývají stvořeni, abys tvář země znovu obnovil!

31 (KJV) The glory of the LORD shall endure for ever: the LORD shall rejoice in his works.

32 (KJV) He looketh on the earth, and it trembleth: he toucheth the hills, and they smoke.

33 (KJV) I will sing unto the LORD as long as I live: I will sing praise to my God while I have my being.
33 (B21) Zpívat budu Hospodinu celý život svůj, žalmy zpívat svému Bohu, dokud jsem tu!

34 (KJV) My meditation of him shall be sweet: I will be glad in the LORD.

35 (KJV) Let the sinners be consumed out of the earth, and let the wicked be no more. Bless thou the LORD, O my soul. Praise ye the LORD.
35 (B21) Kéž by už hříšníci ze světa zmizeli, kéž by tu darebáci více nebyli! Dobrořeč, duše má, Hospodinu! Haleluja!
