1 (KJV) Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands.
1 (KAT) Ďakovný žalm.
2 (KJV) Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with singing.
2 (KAT) Jasaj na chválu Pánovi, celá zem, s radosťou slúžte Pánovi. S plesaním vstupujte pred jeho tvár.
3 (KJV) Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.
3 (KAT) Vedzte, že náš Pán je Boh; on je náš stvoriteľ a jemu patríme, sme jeho ľud a ovce z jeho stáda.
4 (KJV) Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.
4 (KAT) Vstupujte do jeho brán s piesňou chvály a do jeho nádvorí s piesňami oslavnými; chváľte ho a velebte jeho meno.
5 (KJV) For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.

Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.
Ž 95:7 - For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. To day if ye will hear his voice,
Ez 34:30 - Thus shall they know that I the LORD their God am with them, and that they, even the house of Israel, are my people, saith the Lord GOD.
Z 100 - Autor žalmu je neznámy. Žalm sa mal spievať pri ďakovnej obete ("tôdáh"). Obsahovo je mesiášsky, lebo povoláva všetkých ľudí oslavovať Pána v chráme ako svojho Stvoriteľa a Pána (Iz 2,3; 56,6).
