1 Jób 19, 1 Then Job answered and said, 2 Jób 19, 2 How long will all of you vex my soul, and break me in pieces with words? 3 Jób 19, 3 These ten times have all of you reproached me: all of you are not ashamed that all of you make yourselves strange to me. 4 Jób 19, 4 And be it indeed that I have erred, mine error remains with myself. 5 Jób 19, 5 If indeed all of you will magnify yourselves against me, and plead against me my reproach: 6 Jób 19, 6 Know now that God has overthrown me, and has compassed me with his net. 7 Jób 19, 7 Behold, I cry out of wrong, but I am not heard: I cry aloud, but there is no judgment. 8 Jób 19, 8 He has fenced up my way that I cannot pass, and he has set darkness in my paths. 9 Jób 19, 9 He has stripped me of my glory, and taken the crown from my head. 10 Jób 19, 10 He has destroyed me on every side, and I am gone: and mine hope has he removed like a tree. 11 Jób 19, 11 He has also kindled his wrath against me, and he counts me unto him as one of his enemies. 12 Jób 19, 12 His troops come together, and raise up their way against me, and camp round about my tabernacle. 13 Jób 19, 13 He has put my brethren far from me, and mine acquaintance are verily cut off from me. 14 Jób 19, 14 My kinsfolk have failed, and my familiar friends have forgotten me. 15 Jób 19, 15 They that dwell in mine house, and my maids, count me for a stranger: I am an foreigner in their sight. 16 Jób 19, 16 "I called my servant, and he gave me no answer; I implored him with my mouth. " 17 Jób 19, 17 My breath is strange to my wife, though I implored for the children's sake of mine own body. 18 Jób 19, 18 "Yea, young children despised me; I arose, and they spoke against me. " 19 Jób 19, 19 All my inward friends abhorred me: and they whom I loved are turned against me. 20 Jób 19, 20 My bone cleaves to my skin and to my flesh, and I am escaped with the skin of my teeth. 21 Jób 19, 21 "Have pity upon me, have pity upon me, O all of you my friends; for the hand of God has touched me. " 22 Jób 19, 22 Why do all of you persecute me as God, and are not satisfied with my flesh? 23 Jób 19, 23 Oh that my words were now written! oh that they were printed in a book! 24 Jób 19, 24 That they were graven with an iron pen and lead in the rock for ever! 25 Jób 19, 25 For I know that my redeemer lives, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth: 26 Jób 19, 26 And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God: 27 Jób 19, 27 "Whom I shall see for myself, and mine eyes shall behold, and not another; though my reins be consumed within me. " 28 Jób 19, 28 But all of you should say, Why persecute we him, seeing the root of the matter is found in me? 29 Jób 19, 29 Be all of you afraid of the sword: for wrath brings the punishments of the sword, that all of you may know there is a judgment.

Verš 19
All my inward friends abhorred me: and they whom I loved are turned against me.
Ž 41:9 - Yea, mine own familiar friend, in whom I trusted, which did eat of my bread, has lifted up his heel against me.
Ž 55:13 - But it was you, a man mine equal, my guide, and mine acquaintance.
Verš 18
"Yea, young children despised me; I arose, and they spoke against me. "
Jób 30:1 - But now they that are younger than I have me in derision, whose fathers I would have disdained to have set with the dogs of my flock.
Verš 11
He has also kindled his wrath against me, and he counts me unto him as one of his enemies.
Jób 13:24 - Wherefore hide you your face, and hold me for your enemy?
Jób 16:9 - "He tears me in his wrath, who hates me: he gnashes upon me with his teeth; mine enemy sharpens his eyes upon me. "
Jób 33:10 - Behold, he finds occasions against me, he counts me for his enemy,
Nár 2:5 - The LORD was as an enemy: he has swallowed up Israel, he has swallowed up all her palaces: he has destroyed his strong holds, and has increased in the daughter of Judah mourning and lamentation.
Verš 20
My bone cleaves to my skin and to my flesh, and I am escaped with the skin of my teeth.
Jób 30:30 - My skin is black upon me, and my bones are burned with heat.

Nár 4:8 - "Their visage is blacker than a coal; they are not known in the streets: their skin cleaves to their bones; it is withered, it is become like a stick. "
Verš 13
He has put my brethren far from me, and mine acquaintance are verily cut off from me.
Ž 31:11 - I was a reproach among all mine enemies, but especially among my neighbours, and a fear to mine acquaintance: they that did see me without fled from me.

Job 19,9 - Boh postrhúval ozdobné rúcho z Jóba, t. j. odňal mu všetku vážnosť a bohatstvo, ktorými predtým oplýval.
