Jób 19, 1-29

1 (CPDV) But Job answered by saying:
1 (ROH) Na to zase odpovedal Job a riekol:

2 (CPDV) How long will you afflict my soul and wear me down with words?
2 (ROH) Dokedy budete trápiť moju dušu a dokedy ma budete drtiť rečami?

3 (CPDV) So, ten times you confound me and are not ashamed to oppress me.
3 (ROH) Toto ste ma už desaťkrát zhanili. Či sa nehanbíte, že ma tak mučíte?

4 (CPDV) Now, of course, if I have been ignorant, my ignorance will be with me.

5 (CPDV) But you have risen up against me, and you accuse me to my disgrace.

6 (CPDV) At least now you should understand that God has not afflicted me with a balanced judgment, though he has encompassed me with his scourges.
6 (ROH) vtedy vedzte, že ma Bôh sprevrátil a obňal ma svojou sieťou.

7 (CPDV) Behold, I will cry out, enduring violence, and no one will hear. I will announce loudly, but there is no one who may judge.

8 (CPDV) He has hemmed in my path, and I cannot pass; he has added darkness to my difficult path.

9 (CPDV) He has plundered me of my glory, and he has stolen the crown from my head.
9 (ROH) Svliekol so mňa moju slávu a ta preč odstránil korunu mojej hlavy.

10 (CPDV) He has destroyed me on every side, and I am lost, and, like an uprooted tree, he has taken away my hope.
10 (ROH) Rozboril ma na všetkých stranách, a idem ta, a vyvrátil ako strom moju nádej.

11 (CPDV) His fury has raged against me, and in this way he has treated me like his enemy.
11 (ROH) K tomu zapálil proti mne svoj hnev a považuje ma sebe tak ako svojich protivníkov.

12 (CPDV) His troops have gathered together, and they have made their way to me, and they have besieged my tabernacle all around.
12 (ROH) Razom prišly jeho čaty, vysypali proti mne svoju cestu a táboria vôkol môjho stánu.

13 (CPDV) He has put my brothers far from me, and my friends have withdrawn from me like strangers.
13 (ROH) Mojich bratov vzdialil odo mňa, a moji známi sa mi cele odcudzili.

14 (CPDV) My kinsmen have forsaken me, and those who knew me, have forgotten me.
14 (ROH) Moji príbuzní vystali a moji známi zabudli na mňa.

15 (CPDV) The inhabitants of my house and my maidservants treat me just as if I were a stranger, and I have been like an sojourner in their eyes.

16 (CPDV) I called my servant, and he did not respond; I pleaded with him with my own mouth.
16 (ROH) Volám na svojho sluhu, ale neodpovedá, i keď ho pekne prosím svojimi ústy.

17 (CPDV) My wife has shuddered at my breath, and I have begged the sons of my loins.
17 (ROH) Môj dych je cudzí mojej žene a cudzia moja pokorná prosba synom môjho lona.

18 (CPDV) Even the foolish have looked down on me, and, when I withdrew from them, they spoke ill of me.
18 (ROH) Ešte i decká mnou pohŕdajú; i keď chcem vstať, hovoria proti mne.

19 (CPDV) Those who were sometime my counselors, treat me like an abomination; and he whom I valued the most has turned against me.
19 (ROH) Zošklivili si ma všetci mužovia mojej rady, a tí, ktorých milujem, obrátili sa proti mne.

20 (CPDV) Since my flesh has been consumed, my bone adheres to my skin, and only my lips have been left around my teeth.
20 (ROH) Moja kosť lipí na mojej koži a na mojom mäse, a unikol som iba s kožou svojich zubov.

21 (CPDV) Have mercy on me, have compassion on me, at least you my friends, because the hand of the Lord has touched me.
21 (ROH) Zľutujte sa nado mnou, zľutujte sa nado mnou vy, moji priatelia, lebo ruka Božia sa ma dotkla.

22 (CPDV) Why do you pursue me just as God does, and satiate yourselves with my 299 flesh?

23 (CPDV) Who will grant to me that my words may be written down? Who will grant to me that they may be inscribed in a book,
23 (ROH) Oj, aby boly spísané moje reči! Oj, aby boly zaznačené do knihy!

24 (CPDV) with an iron pen and a plate of lead, or else be carved in stone?
24 (ROH) Železným rydlom a olovom; aby boly na večnosť vytesané do skaly!

25 (CPDV) For I know that my Redeemer lives, and on the last day I will rise out of the earth.
25 (ROH) Ale ja viem, že môj vykupiteľ žije a posledný sa postaví nad prachom.

26 (CPDV) And I will be enveloped again with my skin, and in my flesh I will see my God.
26 (ROH) A keď raz toto všetko rozborí moju kožu, potom zo svojho tela uvidím Boha,

27 (CPDV) It is he whom I myself will see, and he whom my eyes will behold, and no other. This, my hope, has taken rest in my bosom.
27 (ROH) ktorého ja uvidím sebe, a moje oči budú vidieť a nie cudzí. Moje ľadviny hynú v mojej vnútornosti.

28 (CPDV) Why then do you now say: “Let us pursue him, and let us find a basis to speak against him?”
28 (ROH) Istotne by ste mali povedať: Načo ho máme prenasledovať? Keď sa koreň dobrej veci nachodí vo mne.

29 (CPDV) So then, flee from the face of the sword, for the sword is the avenger of iniquities; but know this: there is to be a judgment.

Those who were sometime my counselors, treat me like an abomination; and he whom I valued the most has turned against me.
Ž 41:9 - In the daylight, the Lord has ordered his mercy; and in the night, a canticle to him. With me is a prayer to the God of my life.
Ž 55:13 - For you have rescued my soul from death and my feet from slipping, so that I may be pleasing in the sight of God, in the light of the living.

Verš 18
Even the foolish have looked down on me, and, when I withdrew from them, they spoke ill of me.
Jób 30:1 - But now, those younger in years scorn me, whose fathers I would not have seen fit to place with the dogs of my flock,

Verš 11
His fury has raged against me, and in this way he has treated me like his enemy.
Jób 13:24 - Why do you conceal your face and consider me to be your enemy?
Jób 16:9 - My wrinkles bear witness against me, and a liar rises up against my face, contradicting me.
Jób 33:10 - Yet he has discovered blame in me, and so he has treated me like his enemy.
Nár 2:5 - HE. The Lord has become like an enemy. He has thrown down Israel. He has thrown down all of his defenses. He has torn apart his fortifications. And he has filled the daughter of Judah with humbled men and humbled women.

Verš 20
Since my flesh has been consumed, my bone adheres to my skin, and only my lips have been left around my teeth.
Jób 30:30 - My skin has become blackened over me, and my bones have dried up because of the heat.
Ž 102:5 - He satisfies your desire with good things. Your youth will be renewed like that of the eagle.
Nár 4:8 - HETH. Their face has been blacked more than coals, and they are not recognized in the streets. Their skin has adhered to their bones; it dried out and became like wood.

Verš 13
He has put my brothers far from me, and my friends have withdrawn from me like strangers.
Ž 31:11 - Rejoice in the Lord and exult, you just ones, and glory, all you upright of heart.
Ž 38:11 - Remove your scourges from me.
Ž 69:8 -
Ž 88:8 - God is glorified by the counsel of the saints. He is great and terrible above all those who are around him.

Job 19,9 - Boh postrhúval ozdobné rúcho z Jóba, t. j. odňal mu všetku vážnosť a bohatstvo, ktorými predtým oplýval.
