Jób 15, 1-35

1 (UKJV) Then answered Eliphaz the Temanite, and said,
1 (ROH) Na to odpovedal Elifaz Témanský a riekol:

2 (UKJV) Should a wise man utter vain knowledge, and fill his belly with the east wind?
2 (ROH) Či azda múdry bude odpovedať známosťou vzduchu a naplní svoje vnútro východným vetrom

3 (UKJV) Should he reason with useless talk? or with speeches wherewith he can do no good?
3 (ROH) karhajúc slovom, ktoré neprospeje, alebo rečami, ktorými neosoží?

4 (UKJV) Yea, you cast off fear, and restrain prayer before God.
4 (ROH) K tomu ty ešte rušíš bázeň Božiu a ubieraš zbožnej mluvy pred silným Bohom.

5 (UKJV) For your mouth utters your iniquity, and you choose the tongue of the crafty.
5 (ROH) Lebo tvoja neprávosť učí tvoje ústa, a zvolil si jazyk chytrákov.

6 (UKJV) your own mouth condemns you, and not I: yea, your own lips testify against you.
6 (ROH) Odsudzujú ťa tvoje vlastné ústa a nie ja; tvoje rty svedčia proti tebe.

7 (UKJV) Are you the first man that was born? or were you made before the hills?
7 (ROH) Či si sa ty prvý narodil z ľudí alebo či si bol počatý prv ako boly brehy?

8 (UKJV) Have you heard the secret of God? and do you restrain wisdom to yourself?
8 (ROH) Či si azda počúval v tajnej rade Božej alebo si strhol múdrosť na seba?

9 (UKJV) What know you, that we know not? what understand you, which is not in us?
9 (ROH) Čo vieš, čoho by sme my nevedeli? Čomu rozumieš, čoho by nebolo aj pri nás?

10 (UKJV) With us are both the grayheaded and very aged men, much elder than your father.
10 (ROH) I šedivý i starec je medzi nami, čo do veku, starší ako tvoj otec.

11 (UKJV) Are the consolations of God small with you? is there any secret thing with you?
11 (ROH) Či sú ti málo potešenia silného Boha alebo jeho slovo, ktorým tak nežne hovorí s tebou?

12 (UKJV) Why does your heart carry you away? and what do your eyes overlook,
12 (ROH) Čo ťa unieslo tvoje srdce, a prečo tak pozerajú tvoje oči,

13 (UKJV) That you turn your spirit against God, and let such words go out of your mouth?
13 (ROH) že obraciaš svojho ducha proti silnému Bohu a vyvodíš také reči zo svojich úst?

14 (UKJV) What is man, that he should be clean? and he which is born of a woman, that he should be righteous?
14 (ROH) Čo je smrteľný človek, aby bol čistý, a aby bol spravedlivý ten, kto sa narodil zo ženy?

15 (UKJV) "Behold, he puts no trust in his saints; yea, the heavens are not clean in his sight. "
15 (ROH) Hľa, neverí ani svojim svätým, a nebesia nie sú čisté v jeho očiach!

16 (UKJV) How much more abominable and filthy is man, which drinks iniquity like water?
16 (ROH) A čo potom ohavný a zkazený, človek, ktorý pije neprávosť ako vodu.

17 (UKJV) "I will show you, hear me; and that which I have seen I will declare; "
17 (ROH) Poviem ti, počuj ma! A nech porozprávam to, čo som videl,

18 (UKJV) Which wise men have told from their fathers, and have not hid it:
18 (ROH) to, čo povedali múdri a nezatajili toho, čo slýchali od svojich otcov.

19 (UKJV) Unto whom alone the earth was given, and no stranger passed among them.
19 (ROH) Im samým bola daná zem, ani neprešiel cez nich cudzí.

20 (UKJV) The wicked man labors with pain all his days, and the number of years is hidden to the oppressor.
20 (ROH) Po všetky svoje dni sa trápi bezbožník, a malý počet rokov je uschovaný pre ukrutníka.

21 (UKJV) A dreadful sound is in his ears: in prosperity the destroyer shall come upon him.
21 (ROH) Hlas strachov zavznieva v jeho ušiach; v čas pokoja prijde na neho zhubca.

22 (UKJV) He believes not that he shall return out of darkness, and he is waited for of the sword.
22 (ROH) Neverí, že by sa kedy navrátil zo tmy, a je vyhliadnutý pre meč.

23 (UKJV) He wanders abroad for bread, saying, Where is it? he knows that the day of darkness is ready at his hand.
23 (ROH) Túla sa za chlebom starajúc sa: Kde vezmem? Vie, že je už po jeho ruke pripravený deň tmy.

24 (UKJV) "Trouble and anguish shall make him afraid; they shall prevail against him, as a king ready to the battle. "
24 (ROH) Desia ho súženie a úzkosť; uderí to na neho jako kráľ, hotový do boja.

25 (UKJV) For he stretches out his hand against God, and strengthens himself against the Almighty.
25 (ROH) Lebo vztiahol svoju ruku proti silnému Bohu a postavil sa spurne proti Všemohúcemu.

26 (UKJV) He runs upon him, even on his neck, upon the thick bosses of his bucklers:
26 (ROH) Pobehol proti nemu tvrdou šijou, hustým hrbov svojich štítov.

27 (UKJV) Because he covers his face with his fatness, and makes fatness on his flanks.
27 (ROH) Lebo pokryl svoju tvár svojím tukom a nabral sadla na slabiny.

28 (UKJV) And he dwells in desolate cities, and in houses which no man inhabits, which are ready to become heaps.
28 (ROH) A býval v zkazených mestách, v domoch, v ktorých nemali bývať, ktoré boly určené na hromady rumov.

29 (UKJV) He shall not be rich, neither shall his substance continue, neither shall he prolong the perfection thereof upon the earth.
29 (ROH) Nezbohatne, ani neobstojí jeho imanie, ani sa ťarchou nebude kloniť ich nadobudnutý majetok k zemi.

30 (UKJV) "He shall not depart out of darkness; the flame shall dry up his branches, and by the breath of his mouth shall he go away. "
30 (ROH) Neuhne zo tmy; plameň usuší jeho výhonok, a uhne od ducha jeho úst.

31 (UKJV) Let not him that is deceived trust in vanity: for vanity shall be his recompence.
31 (ROH) Nech neverí v márnosť, blúdi; lebo márnosť, bude to, čo dostane do zámeny.

32 (UKJV) It shall be accomplished before his time, and his branch shall not be green.
32 (ROH) Ešte ani nebude jeho deň, a splní sa to, a jeho vetev sa nebude zelenať.

33 (UKJV) He shall shake off his unripe grape as the vine, and shall cast off his flower as the olive.
33 (ROH) Zmarí jako vinič svoj nedozrelok; svrhne svoj kvet ako oliva.

34 (UKJV) For the congregation of hypocrites shall be desolate, and fire shall consume the tabernacles of bribery.
34 (ROH) Lebo shromaždenie pokrytca zjalovie, a oheň spáli stány úplatného daru.

35 (UKJV) They conceive mischief, and bring forth vanity, and their belly prepares deceit.
35 (ROH) Tehotnejú trápením a rodia neprávosť, a ich lono pripravuje lesť.

Verš 32

It shall be accomplished before his time, and his branch shall not be green.

Jób 22:16 - Which were cut down out of time, whose foundation was overflowed with a flood:

Ž 55:23 - "But you, O God, shall bring them down into the pit of destruction: bloody and deceitful men shall not live out half their days; but I will trust in you. "

Verš 35

They conceive mischief, and bring forth vanity, and their belly prepares deceit.

Ž 7:14 - Behold, he labors with iniquity, and has conceived mischief, and brought forth falsehood.

Iz 59:4 - "None calls for justice, nor any pleads for truth: they trust in vanity, and speak lies; they conceive mischief, and bring forth iniquity. "

Oz 10:13 - "All of you have plowed wickedness, all of you have reaped iniquity; all of you have eaten the fruit of lies: because you did trust in your way, in the multitude of your mighty men. "

Verš 8

Have you heard the secret of God? and do you restrain wisdom to yourself?

Rim 11:34 - For who has known the mind of the Lord? or who has been his counsellor?

Verš 10

With us are both the grayheaded and very aged men, much elder than your father.

Jób 32:7 - I said, Days should speak, and multitude of years should teach wisdom.

Verš 14

What is man, that he should be clean? and he which is born of a woman, that he should be righteous?

1Kr 8:46 - "If they sin against you, (for there is no man that sins not,) and you be angry with them, and deliver them to the enemy, so that they carry them away captives unto the land of the enemy, far or near; "

2Krn 6:36 - "If they sin against you, (for there is no man which sins not,) and you be angry with them, and deliver them over before their enemies, and they carry them away captives unto a land far off or near; "

Jób 14:4 - Who can bring a clean thing out of an unclean? not one.

Ž 14:3 - They are all gone aside, they are all together become filthy: there is none that does good, no, not one.

Prís 20:9 - Who can say, I have made my heart clean, I am pure from my sin?

Kaz 7:20 - For there is not a just man upon earth, that does good, and sins not.

1Jn 1:8 - If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

1Jn 1:10 - If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word (o. logos) is not in us.

Verš 15

"Behold, he puts no trust in his saints; yea, the heavens are not clean in his sight. "

Jób 4:18 - "Behold, he put no trust in his servants; and his angels he charged with folly: "

Jób 25:5 - "Behold even to the moon, and it shines not; yea, the stars are not pure in his sight. "

Verš 21

A dreadful sound is in his ears: in prosperity the destroyer shall come upon him.

1Sol 5:3 - "For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction comes upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. "

Verš 23

He wanders abroad for bread, saying, Where is it? he knows that the day of darkness is ready at his hand.

Jób 18:12 - His strength shall be famished, and destruction shall be ready at his side.

Ž 109:10 - Let his children be continually vagabonds, and beg: let them seek their bread also out of their desolate places.

Verš 30

"He shall not depart out of darkness; the flame shall dry up his branches, and by the breath of his mouth shall he go away. "

Jób 4:9 - By the blast of God they perish, and by the breath of his nostrils are they consumed.
