Kniha Ester

1 (KJV) When Mordecai perceived all that was done, Mordecai rent his clothes, and put on sackcloth with ashes, and went out into the midst of the city, and cried with a loud and a bitter cry;
1 (SVD) ولما علم مردخاي كل ما عمل شق مردخاي ثيابه ولبس مسحا برماد وخرج الى وسط المدينة وصرخ صرخة عظيمة مرّة
1 (B21) Když se Mordechaj dozvěděl o všem, co se stalo, roztrhl svůj oděv, oblékl se pytlovinou, posypal se popelem a s hlasitým a hořkým nářkem vyšel do města.

2 (SVD) وجاء الى قدام باب الملك لانه لا يدخل احد باب الملك وهو لابس مسحا.
2 (B21) Dostal se ale jen ke královské bráně; do paláce totiž nikdo oblečený v pytlovině nesměl.

2 (KJV) And came even before the king's gate: for none might enter into the king's gate clothed with sackcloth.
3 (SVD) وفي كل كورة حيثما وصل اليها امر الملك وسنته كانت مناحة عظيمة عند اليهود وصوم وبكاء ونحيب. وانفرش مسح ورماد لكثيرين
3 (B21) (V každé jednotlivé provincii, kamkoli dorazilo královské nařízení, nastal u Židů veliký smutek a půst, pláč a nářek. Mnozí si stlali v popelu a pytlovině.)

2 (KJV) And came even before the king's gate: for none might enter into the king's gate clothed with sackcloth.
4 (SVD) فدخلت جواري استير وخصيانها واخبروها فاغتمّت الملكة جدا وارسلت ثيابا لإلباس مردخاي ولاجل نزع مسحه عنه فلم يقبل.
4 (B21) Za Ester přišla její děvčata a eunuchové, aby jí to oznámili. Královna se zděsila. Poslala Mordechajovi šaty, aby se oblékl a odložil pytlovinu, ale on odmítl.

3 (KJV) And in every province, whithersoever the king's commandment and his decree came, there was great mourning among the Jews, and fasting, and weeping, and wailing; and many lay in sackcloth and ashes.
5 (SVD) فدعت استير هتاخ واحد من خصيان الملك الذي اوقفه بين يديها واعطته وصية الى مردخاي لتعلم ماذا ولماذا.
5 (B21) Ester si tedy zavolala královského eunucha Hatacha, který jí byl osobně přidělen. Přikázala mu, ať od Mordechaje zjistí, co se děje a proč se tak chová.

3 (KJV) And in every province, whithersoever the king's commandment and his decree came, there was great mourning among the Jews, and fasting, and weeping, and wailing; and many lay in sackcloth and ashes.
6 (SVD) فخرج هتاخ الى مردخاي الى ساحة المدينة التي امام باب الملك
6 (B21) Hatach tedy vyšel za Mordechajem na náměstí před královský palác.

4 (KJV) So Esther's maids and her chamberlains came and told it her. Then was the queen exceedingly grieved; and she sent raiment to clothe Mordecai, and to take away his sackcloth from him: but he received it not.
7 (SVD) فاخبره مردخاي بكل ما اصابه وعن مبلغ الفضة الذي وعد هامان بوزنه لخزائن الملك عن اليهود لابادتهم
7 (B21) Mordechaj mu pověděl o všem, co ho potkalo, i kolik přesně stříbra slíbil Haman vyplatit do králových pokladnic za vyhlazení Židů.

8 (SVD) واعطاه صورة كتابة الأمر الذي أعطي في شوشن لاهلاكهم لكي يريها لاستير ويخبرها ويوصيها ان تدخل الى الملك وتتضرع اليه وتطلب منه لاجل شعبها.
8 (B21) Dal mu i opis zákonného ediktu vydaného v Súsách ohledně jejich vyhubení. Ať ho ukáže Ester a všechno jí poví. Ať jí vzkáže, že má jít za králem orodovat u něj za svůj národ a vyprosit jeho milost.

5 (KJV) Then called Esther for Hatach, one of the king's chamberlains, whom he had appointed to attend upon her, and gave him a commandment to Mordecai, to know what it was, and why it was.
9 (SVD) فأتى هتاخ واخبر استير بكلام مردخاي.
9 (B21) Hatach se vrátil a pověděl Ester, co říkal Mordechaj.

5 (KJV) Then called Esther for Hatach, one of the king's chamberlains, whom he had appointed to attend upon her, and gave him a commandment to Mordecai, to know what it was, and why it was.
10 (SVD) فكلمت استير هتاخ واعطته وصية الى مردخاي
10 (B21) Ester pak poslala Hatacha zpět za Mordechajem s odpovědí:

6 (KJV) So Hatach went forth to Mordecai unto the street of the city, which was before the king's gate.
11 (SVD) ان كل عبيد الملك وشعوب بلاد الملك يعلمون ان كل رجل دخل او امرأة الى الملك الى الدار الداخلية ولم يدع فشريعته واحدة ان يقتل الا الذي يمدّ له الملك قضيب الذهب فانه يحيا. وانا لم أدع لادخل الى الملك هذه الثلاثين يوما.
11 (B21) "Kdokoli, ať muž či žena, se bez pozvání přiblíží ke králi do vnitřní dvorany, zemře! Ten zákon znají všichni královi dvořané i lid v říšských provinciích. Jen ten, na koho by král ukázal zlatým žezlem, smí žít. A já jsem ke králi nebyla pozvána už třicet dní!"

12 (SVD) فاخبروا مردخاي بكلام استير.
12 (B21) Když byl Mordechajovi doručen vzkaz od Ester,

7 (KJV) And Mordecai told him of all that had happened unto him, and of the sum of the money that Haman had promised to pay to the king's treasuries for the Jews, to destroy them.
13 (SVD) فقال مردخاي ان تجاوب استير. لا تفتكري في نفسك انك تنجين في بيت الملك دون جميع اليهود.
13 (B21) poslal jí tuto odpověď: "Nemysli si, že v královském domě jako jediná ze všech Židů vyvázneš.

7 (KJV) And Mordecai told him of all that had happened unto him, and of the sum of the money that Haman had promised to pay to the king's treasuries for the Jews, to destroy them.
14 (SVD) لانك ان سكتّ سكوتا في هذا الوقت يكون الفرج والنجاة لليهود من مكان آخر واما انت وبيت ابيك فتبيدون. ومن يعلم ان كنت لوقت مثل هذا وصلت الى الملك.
14 (B21) Budeš-li v tuto chvíli mlčet, Židům přijde spásná pomoc odjinud, ale ty i s rodinou svého otce zahyneš. Kdo ví? Snad jsi dosáhla království právě pro chvíli, jako je tato."

8 (KJV) Also he gave him the copy of the writing of the decree that was given at Shushan to destroy them, to shew it unto Esther, and to declare it unto her, and to charge her that she should go in unto the king, to make supplication unto him, and to make request before him for her people.
15 (SVD) فقالت استير ان يجاوب مردخاي
15 (B21) Ester na to Mordechajovi odpověděla:

8 (KJV) Also he gave him the copy of the writing of the decree that was given at Shushan to destroy them, to shew it unto Esther, and to declare it unto her, and to charge her that she should go in unto the king, to make supplication unto him, and to make request before him for her people.
16 (SVD) اذهب اجمع جميع اليهود الموجودين في شوشن وصوموا من جهتي ولا تأكلوا ولا تشربوا ثلاثة ايام ليلا ونهارا. وانا ايضا وجواريّ نصوم كذلك وهكذا ادخل الى الملك خلاف السنّة. فاذا هلكت هلكت.
16 (B21) "Jdi a shromáždi všechny Židy v Súsách. Ať se za mne postí tři dny - ať nejedí ani nepijí ve dne ani v noci. I já a mé dívky se takto budeme postit. Potom půjdu ke králi, ačkoli je to proti zákonu. A zahynu-li, zahynu."

9 (KJV) And Hatach came and told Esther the words of Mordecai.
17 (SVD) فانصرف مردخاي وعمل حسب كل ما اوصته به استير
17 (B21) Mordechaj tedy šel a udělal přesně, co mu Ester vzkázala.

11 (KJV) All the king's servants, and the people of the king's provinces, do know, that whosoever, whether man or woman, shall come unto the king into the inner court, who is not called, there is one law of his to put him to death, except such to whom the king shall hold out the golden sceptre, that he may live: but I have not been called to come in unto the king these thirty days.
