1 (KJV) After these things, when the wrath of king Ahasuerus was appeased, he remembered Vashti, and what she had done, and what was decreed against her.
1 (SVD) بعد هذه الأمور لما خمد غضب الملك احشويروش ذكر وشتي وما عملته وما حتم به عليها.
1 (B21) Když bylo po všem a hněv krále Xerxe opadl, vzpomněl si na Vašti, na to, co provedla a jak se proti ní zakročilo.

1 (KJV) After these things, when the wrath of king Ahasuerus was appeased, he remembered Vashti, and what she had done, and what was decreed against her.
2 (SVD) فقال غلمان الملك الذين يخدمونه ليطلب للملك فتيات عذارى حسنات المنظر
2 (B21) Právě ho obsluhovali královští panoši a ti mu poradili: "Nechť se pro krále dají vyhledat krásné mladé panny.

2 (KJV) Then said the king's servants that ministered unto him, Let there be fair young virgins sought for the king:
3 (SVD) وليوكل الملك وكلاء في كل بلاد مملكته ليجمعوا كل الفتيات العذارى الحسنات المنظر الى شوشن القصر الى بيت النساء الى يد هيجاي خصي الملك حارس النساء وليعطين ادهان عطرهنّ‎.
3 (B21) Král nechť ve všech provinciích své říše ustanoví úředníky, kteří shromáždí všechny krásné mladé panny do harému paláce v Súsách, kde o ně bude pečovat královský eunuch Hegaj, strážce žen, a nechá je krášlit.

4 (SVD) والفتاة التي تحسن في عيني الملك فلتملك مكان وشتي. فحسن الكلام في عيني الملك فعمل هكذا
4 (B21) Dívka, která se králi zalíbí, nechť se pak stane královnou namísto Vašti." To se králi zalíbilo a učinil tak.

3 (KJV) And let the king appoint officers in all the provinces of his kingdom, that they may gather together all the fair young virgins unto Shushan the palace, to the house of the women unto the custody of Hege the king's chamberlain, keeper of the women; and let their things for purification be given them:
5 (SVD) كان في شوشن القصر رجل يهودي اسمه مردخاي ابن يائير بن شمعي بن قيس رجل يميني
5 (B21) V paláci v Súsách byl jeden Žid. Jmenoval se Mordechaj, syn Jaira, syna Šimeiho, syna Kišova z pokolení Benjamínova.

3 (KJV) And let the king appoint officers in all the provinces of his kingdom, that they may gather together all the fair young virgins unto Shushan the palace, to the house of the women unto the custody of Hege the king's chamberlain, keeper of the women; and let their things for purification be given them:
6 (SVD) قد سبي من اورشليم مع السبي الذي سبي مع يكنيا ملك يهوذا الذي سباه نبوخذنصّر ملك بابل.
6 (B21) Ten byl spolu s dalšími vyhnanci vystěhován z Jeruzaléma s judským králem Jekoniášem, kterého odvlekl do zajetí babylonský král Nabukadnezar.

4 (KJV) And let the maiden which pleaseth the king be queen instead of Vashti. And the thing pleased the king; and he did so.
7 (SVD) وكان مربّيا لهدسّة اي استير بنت عمه لانه لم يكن لها اب ولا ام. وكانت الفتاة جميلة الصورة وحسنة المنظر وعند موت ابيها وامها اتخذها مردخاي لنفسه ابنة.
7 (B21) Mordechaj se staral o dceru svého strýce Hadasu zvanou Ester, protože neměla otce ani matku. Byla to velmi krásná, překrásná dívka. Po smrti jejího otce i matky ji Mordechaj přijal za vlastní.

4 (KJV) And let the maiden which pleaseth the king be queen instead of Vashti. And the thing pleased the king; and he did so.
8 (SVD) فلما سمع كلام الملك وامره وجمعت فتايات كثيرات الى شوشن القصر الى يد هيجاي أخذت استير الى بيت الملك الى يد هيجاي حارس النساء.
8 (B21) Když bylo vyhlášeno královské nařízení, začalo se do paláce v Súsách do Hegajovy péče shromažďovat množství dívek. Také Ester tehdy vzali do královských komnat pod dohled strážce žen Hegaje.

5 (KJV) Now in Shushan the palace there was a certain Jew, whose name was Mordecai, the son of Jair, the son of Shimei, the son of Kish, a Benjamite;
9 (SVD) وحسنت الفتاة في عينيه ونالت نعمة بين يديه فبادر بادهان عطرها وانصبتها ليعطيها اياها مع السبع الفتيات المختارات لتعطى لها من بيت الملك ونقلها مع فتاياتها الى احسن مكان في بيت النساء.
9 (B21) Ta dívka se mu líbila a získala si jeho přízeň. Hned ji dal krášlit, obstaral jí přednostní příděly a zařídil, aby se jí věnovalo sedm děvčat z králova domu. Navíc ji i s děvčaty přemístil do lepší části harému.

5 (KJV) Now in Shushan the palace there was a certain Jew, whose name was Mordecai, the son of Jair, the son of Shimei, the son of Kish, a Benjamite;
10 (SVD) ولم تخبر استير عن شعبها وجنسها لان مردخاي اوصاها ان لا تخبر.
10 (B21) Ester neprozradila nic o své národnosti a původu, protože jí Mordechaj přikázal, aby o tom mlčela.

6 (KJV) Who had been carried away from Jerusalem with the captivity which had been carried away with Jeconiah king of Judah, whom Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon had carried away.
11 (SVD) وكان مردخاي يتمشى يوما فيوما امام دار بيت النساء ليستعلم عن سلامة استير وعما يصنع بها
11 (B21) Mordechaj se denně procházel před nádvořím harému, aby zjistil, jak se Ester daří a co se s ní děje.

6 (KJV) Who had been carried away from Jerusalem with the captivity which had been carried away with Jeconiah king of Judah, whom Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon had carried away.
12 (SVD) ولما بلغت نوبة فتاة ففتاة للدخول الى الملك احشويروش بعد ان يكون لها حسب سنة النساء اثنا عشر شهرا لانه هكذا كانت تكمل ايام تعطرهنّ ستة اشهر بزيت المرّ وستة اشهر بالاطياب وادهان تعطر النساء
12 (B21) Dívky přicházely před krále Xerxe ve svém pořadí po uplynutí dvanácti měsíců, předepsaných ženám. Po šest měsíců byly denně ošetřovány myrhovým olejem a dalších šest měsíců balzámy a ženskou kosmetikou.

7 (KJV) And he brought up Hadassah, that is, Esther, his uncle's daughter: for she had neither father nor mother, and the maid was fair and beautiful; whom Mordecai, when her father and mother were dead, took for his own daughter.
13 (SVD) وهكذا كانت كل فتاة تدخل الى الملك. وكل ما قالت عنه أعطي لها للدخول معها من بيت النساء الى بيت الملك.
13 (B21) Když měla jít dívka ke králi, mohla si z harému vzít s sebou do králových komnat, cokoli chtěla, a bylo jí vyhověno.

7 (KJV) And he brought up Hadassah, that is, Esther, his uncle's daughter: for she had neither father nor mother, and the maid was fair and beautiful; whom Mordecai, when her father and mother were dead, took for his own daughter.
14 (SVD) في المساء دخلت وفي الصباح رجعت الى بيت النساء الثاني الى يد شعشغاز خصي الملك حارس السراري. لم تعد تدخل الى الملك الا اذا سرّ بها الملك ودعيت باسمها
14 (B21) Večer odcházela a ráno se vracela zpět do harému pod dohled královského eunucha Šaašgaze, strážce konkubín. Ke králi už nevcházela, ledaže by si ji král oblíbil a byla zavolána jménem.

8 (KJV) So it came to pass, when the king's commandment and his decree was heard, and when many maidens were gathered together unto Shushan the palace, to the custody of Hegai, that Esther was brought also unto the king's house, to the custody of Hegai, keeper of the women.
15 (SVD) ولما بلغت نوبة استير ابنة ابيحائل عم مردخاي الذي اتخذها لنفسه ابنة للدخول الى الملك لم تطلب شيئا الا ما قال عنه هيجاي خصي الملك حارس النساء. وكانت استير تنال نعمة في عيني كل من رآها.
15 (B21) Jednoho dne přišla na řadu Ester, dcera Abichaila, strýce Mordechajova, jenž ji přijal za vlastní. Když měla vstoupit ke králi, nežádala nic než to, co řekl králův eunuch Hegaj, strážce žen. Každý, kdo Ester viděl, si ji oblíbil.

16 (SVD) وأخذت استير الى الملك احشويروش الى بيت ملكه في الشهر العاشر هو شهر طيبيت في السنة السابعة لملكه.
16 (B21) Sedmého roku vlády krále Xerxe, desátého měsíce zvaného tebet, byla Ester uvedena do královských komnat.

9 (KJV) And the maiden pleased him, and she obtained kindness of him; and he speedily gave her her things for purification, with such things as belonged to her, and seven maidens, which were meet to be given her, out of the king's house: and he preferred her and her maids unto the best place of the house of the women.
17 (SVD) فاحب الملك استير اكثر من جميع النساء ووجدت نعمة واحسانا قدامه اكثر من جميع العذارى فوضع تاج الملك على راسها وملّكها مكان وشتي.
17 (B21) Král si Ester zamiloval nade všechny ženy; ze všech panen získala jeho přízeň a lásku právě ona. Nasadil jí královskou korunu a učinil ji královnou namísto Vašti.

9 (KJV) And the maiden pleased him, and she obtained kindness of him; and he speedily gave her her things for purification, with such things as belonged to her, and seven maidens, which were meet to be given her, out of the king's house: and he preferred her and her maids unto the best place of the house of the women.
18 (SVD) وعمل الملك وليمة عظيمة لجميع رؤسائه وعبيده وليمة استير. وعمل راحة للبلاد واعطى عطايا حسب كرم الملك.
18 (B21) Král pak na počest Ester uspořádal velikou slavnost pro všechny své velmože a dvořany. V provinciích vyhlásil svátek a rozdával královské dary.

10 (KJV) Esther had not shewed her people nor her kindred: for Mordecai had charged her that she should not shew it.
19 (SVD) ولما جمعت العذارى ثانية كان مردخاي جالسا بباب الملك.
19 (B21) Při dalším výběru panen zaujímal Mordechaj místo v královském kancléřství.

10 (KJV) Esther had not shewed her people nor her kindred: for Mordecai had charged her that she should not shew it.
20 (SVD) ولم تكن استير اخبرت عن جنسها وشعبها كما اوصاها مردخاي. وكانت استير تعمل حسب قول مردخاي كما كانت في تربيتها عنده
20 (B21) Ester stále ještě neprozradila svůj původ a národnost, jak jí Mordechaj přikázal. Poslouchala ho na slovo, tak jako kdysi, dokud byl jejím pěstounem.

11 (KJV) And Mordecai walked every day before the court of the women's house, to know how Esther did, and what should become of her.
21 (SVD) في تلك الايام بينما كان مردخاي جالسا في باب الملك غضب بغثان وترش خصيا الملك حارسا الباب وطلبا ان يمدا ايديهما الى الملك احشويروش.
21 (B21) V době, kdy Mordechaj zastával svůj úřad v kancléřství, chystali se dva nespokojenci vztáhnout ruku na krále Xerxe. Byli to Bigtan a Tereš, královští eunuchové ze strážců prahu.

11 (KJV) And Mordecai walked every day before the court of the women's house, to know how Esther did, and what should become of her.
22 (SVD) فعلم الأمر عند مردخاي فاخبر استير الملكة فاخبرت استير الملك باسم مردخاي.
22 (B21) Když se o tom doslechl Mordechaj, pověděl to královně Ester, která to Mordechajovým jménem oznámila králi.

12 (KJV) Now when every maid's turn was come to go in to king Ahasuerus, after that she had been twelve months, according to the manner of the women, (for so were the days of their purifications accomplished, to wit, six months with oil of myrrh, and six months with sweet odours, and with other things for the purifying of the women;)
23 (SVD) ففحص عن الامر ووجد فصلبا كلاهما على خشبة وكتب ذلك في سفر اخبار الايام امام الملك
23 (B21) Věc se vyšetřila a potvrdila. Oba pachatele pověsili na kůl a na králův pokyn to bylo zapsáno do říšské kroniky.
