8 (KAT) Leviti boli Jozue, Binuj, Kadmiel, Šerebiáš, Júda, Mataniáš; on a jeho bratia viedli chválospevy.
8 (VUL) Porro Levitae: Iesua, Bennui, Cadmihel, Serebia, Iuda, Matthanias, super hymnos ipse et fratres eius;
8 (UKJV) Moreover the Levites: Jeshua, Binnui, Kadmiel, Sherebiah, Judah, and Mattaniah, which was over the thanksgiving, he and his brethren.

9 (KAT) Ich bratia Bakbukiáš a Uni stáli naproti nim pri výkone svojej služby.

22 (UKJV) The Levites in the days of Eliashib, Joiada, and Johanan, and Jaddua, were recorded chief of the fathers: also the priests, to the reign of Darius the Persian.

23 (KAT) Synovia Léviho, ktorí boli náčelníkmi rodov, boli zaznačení v Letopisoch, a to do čias Eljašibovho syna Jochanana.

23 (UKJV) The sons of Levi, the chief of the fathers, were written in the book of the chronicles, even until the days of Johanan the son of Eliashib.

24 (KAT) Náčelníci levitov boli Chašabiáš, Šerebiáš a Kadmielov syn Jozue; ďalej ich bratia, ktorí stáli oproti nim, aby podľa nariadenia Božieho muža Dávida spievali piesne chvály a vďaky, jedna trieda zamieňavo s druhou.
24 (VUL) Et principes Levitarum Hasabia, Serebia, Iesua, Bennui et Cadmihel et fratres eorum coram eis, ut laudarent et confiterentur iuxta praeceptum David viri Dei per vices suas;
24 (UKJV) And the chief of the Levites: Hashabiah, Sherebiah, and Jeshua the son of Kadmiel, with their brethren opposite to them, to praise and to give thanks, according to the commandment of David the man of God, ward opposite to ward.

25 (KAT) Mataniáš, Bakbukiáš, Obadiáš, Mešulam, Talmon, Akub boli strážcami brán. Strážili pri skladištiach vedľa brán.
25 (VUL) Matthania et Becbecia, Abdia, Mosollam, Telmon, Accub ianitores ad custodiam horreorum iuxta portas.
25 (UKJV) Mattaniah, and Bakbukiah, Obadiah, Meshullam, Talmon, Akkub, were porters keeping the ward at the thresholds of the gates.

26 (KAT) Oni boli súčasníkmi Jojakima, syna Josadekovho syna Jozueho, a tiež súčasníkmi vladára Nehemiáša a kňaza a zákonníka Ezdráša.
26 (VUL) Hi in diebus Ioachim filii Iesua filii Iosedec et in diebus Nehemiae ducis et Esdrae sacerdotis scribaeque.
26 (UKJV) These were in the days of Joiakim the son of Jeshua, the son of Jozadak, and in the days of Nehemiah the governor, and of Ezra the priest, the scribe.

27 (KAT) Na posviacku jeruzalemského múru zhľadávali levitov v ich bydliskách a priviedli ich do Jeruzalema, aby vykonali posviacku s radosťou, vďakyvzdávaním a chválospevmi pri cimbaloch, harfách a citarách.
27 (VUL) In dedicatione autem muri Ierusalem requisierunt Levitas de omnibus locis suis, ut adducerent eos in Ierusalem et facerent dedicationem in laetitia, in actione gratiarum et cantico et cymbalis, psalteriis et citharis.
27 (UKJV) And at the dedication of the wall of Jerusalem they sought the Levites out of all their places, to bring them to Jerusalem, to keep the dedication with gladness, both with thanksgivings, and with singing, with cymbals, psalteries, and with harps.

28 (KAT) Tak sa teda zhromaždili synovia spevákov z rovín vôkol Jeruzalema i z netofatských dvorov,
28 (VUL) Congregati sunt autem cantores de campestribus circa Ierusalem et de villis Netophathitarum
28 (UKJV) "And the sons of the singers gathered themselves together, both out of the plain country round about Jerusalem, and from the villages of Netophathi; "

29 (KAT) z Bet-Gilgala a z krajov Geby a Azmaveta. Lebo speváci si postavili dvory vôkol Jeruzalema.
29 (VUL) et de Bethgalgala et de regionibus Gabaa et Azmaveth, quoniam villas aedificaverunt sibi cantores in circuitu Ierusalem.
29 (UKJV) Also from the house of Gilgal, and out of the fields of Geba and Azmaveth: for the singers had built them villages round about Jerusalem.

30 (KAT) Keď sa kňazi a leviti očistili a keď očistili ľud, brány a múr,
30 (VUL) Et mundati sunt sacerdotes et Levitae et mundaverunt populum et portas et murum.
30 (UKJV) And the priests and the Levites purified themselves, and purified the people, and the gates, and the wall.

31 (KAT) rozkázal som júdskym hodnostárom, aby vystúpili na múr, a postavil som dva veľké zbory spievajúcich chvály.
31 (VUL) Ascendere autem feci principes Iudae super murum et statui duos magnos choros laudantium, quorum unus ivit ad dexteram super murum ad portam Sterquilinii.
31 (UKJV) Then I brought up the princes of Judah upon the wall, and appointed two great companies of them that gave thanks, whereof one went on the right hand upon the wall toward the dung gate:

32 (KAT) Jeden sa bral vrchom múru napravo k Hnojnej bráne. Za ním išiel Hosaiáš s polovicou júdskych hodnostárov;
32 (VUL) Et ivit post eos Osaias et media pars principum Iudae
32 (UKJV) And after them went Hoshaiah, and half of the princes of Judah,

33 (KAT) boli to Azariáš, Ezdráš, Mešulam,
33 (VUL) et Azarias, Esdras et Mosollam,
33 (UKJV) And Azariah, Ezra, and Meshullam,

34 (KAT) Júda, Benjamín, Šemaiáš a Jeremiáš;
34 (VUL) Iudas et Beniamin et Semeia et Ieremias.
34 (UKJV) Judah, and Benjamin, and Shemaiah, and Jeremiah,

35 (KAT) z kňazov s trúbami šli Zachariáš, syn Jonatána, syna Šemaiáša, syna Mataniáša, syna Michaiáša, syna Azafovho syna Zakura;
35 (VUL) Et de sacerdotibus cum tubis et Zacharias filius Ionathan filius Semeiae filius Matthaniae filius Michaiae filius Zacchur filius Asaph;
35 (UKJV) "And certain of the priests' sons with trumpets; namely, Zechariah the son of Jonathan, the son of Shemaiah, the son of Mattaniah, the son of Michaiah, the son of Zaccur, the son of Asaph: "

36 (KAT) ďalej jeho bratia Šemaiáš, Azareel, Milalai, Gilalai, Mái, Natanael, Júda a Chanani s hudobnými nástrojmi Božieho muža Dávida. Zákonník Ezdráš išiel na ich čele.
36 (VUL) et fratres eius Semeia et Azareel, Malalai, Galalai, Maai, Nathanael et Iudas et Hanani cum musicis David viri Dei; et Esdras scriba ante eos et in porta Fontis.
36 (UKJV) And his brethren, Shemaiah, and Azarael, Milalai, Gilalai, Maai, Nethaneel, and Judah, Hanani, with the musical instruments of David the man of God, and Ezra the scribe before them.

37 (KAT) Tak sa uberali ku Studničnej bráne, potom išli priamo hore schodmi Dávidovho mesta, kade sa vystupuje na múr, popri Dávidovom paláci až k Vodnej bráne na východe.
37 (VUL) Processerunt per gradus civitatis David in ascensu muri super domum David et usque ad portam Aquarum ad orientem.
37 (UKJV) And at the fountain gate, which was opposite to them, they went up by the stairs of the city of David, at the going up of the wall, above the house of David, even unto the water gate eastward.

38 (KAT) Druhý zbor tých, ktorí spievali chvály, išiel opačne. Šiel som za ním s polovicou ľudu vrchom múru popri Pecnej veži k širokému múru,
38 (VUL) Et chorus secundus gratias referentium ibat ex adverso, et ego post eum, et media pars populi super murum et super turrim Furnorum et usque ad murum latissimum
38 (UKJV) "And the other company of them that gave thanks went opposite to them, and I after them, and the half of the people upon the wall, from beyond the tower of the furnaces even unto the broad wall; "

39 (KAT) potom ponad Efraimovu bránu a Staromestskú bránu, ponad Rybnú bránu, popri veži Chananel a veži Mea až po Ovčiu bránu. Vo Väzenskej bráne sa zastavili.
39 (VUL) et super portam Ephraim et super portam Antiquam et super portam Piscium et turrim Hananeel et turrim Meah et usque ad portam Gregis; et steterunt in porta Custodiae.
39 (UKJV) And from above the gate of Ephraim, and above the old gate, and above the fish gate, and the tower of Hananeel, and the tower of Meah, even unto the sheep gate: and they stood still in the prison gate.

40 (KAT) Potom oba zbory zaujali miesto v Božom dome; takisto ja s polovicou vrchnosti
40 (VUL) Steteruntque duo chori laudantium in domo Dei, et ego et dimidia pars magistratuum mecum.
40 (UKJV) So stood the two companies of them that gave thanks in the house of God, and I, and the half of the rulers with me:

41 (KAT) a kňazi Eljakim, Maásiáš, Minjamin, Michaiáš, Eljoenaj, Zachariáš a Chananiáš s trúbami,
41 (VUL) Et sacerdotes Eliachim, Maasia, Miamin, Michaia, Elioenai, Zacharia, Hanania in tubis;
41 (UKJV) "And the priests; Eliakim, Maaseiah, Miniamin, Michaiah, Elioenai, Zechariah, and Hananiah, with trumpets; "

42 (KAT) priam tak Maásiáš Šemaiáš, Eleazár, Uzi, Jehochanan, Malkiáš, Elam a Ezer. Speváci spievali pod Jizrachiášovým vedením.
42 (VUL) et Maasia et Semeia et Eleazar et Ozi et Iohanan et Melchia et Elam et Ezer. Et clare cecinerunt cantores et Izrahia praepositus.
42 (UKJV) And Maaseiah, and Shemaiah, and Eleazar, and Uzzi, and Jehohanan, and Malchijah, and Elam, and Ezer. And the singers sang loud, with Jezrahiah their overseer.

43 (KAT) V ten deň priniesli veľa obiet a tešili sa, lebo ich Boh obdaroval veľkou radosťou. Aj ženy s deťmi sa radovali. Naďaleko bolo počuť jasot Jeruzalema.
43 (VUL) Et obtulerunt in die illa sacrificia magna et laetati sunt; Deus enim laetificaverat eos laetitia magna; sed et uxores eorum et liberi gavisi sunt, et audita est laetitia Ierusalem procul.
43 (UKJV) Also that day they offered great sacrifices, and rejoiced: for God had made them rejoice with great joy: the wives also and the children rejoiced: so that the joy of Jerusalem was heard even far off.

44 (KAT) V tomto čase ustanovili aj dozeračov nad komorami, čo slúžili ako sýpky na obety pozdvihnutia, na prvotiny a na desiatky, aby sa v nich odkladali z jednotlivých mestských polí zákonité dávky pre kňazov a pre levitov, lebo Júdovci sa radovali z kňazov a levitov konajúcich službu.
44 (VUL) Praeposuerunt quoque in die illa viros super gazophylacia ad thesaurum, ad libamina et ad primitias et ad decimas, ut colligerent in ea de agris civitatum partes legitimas pro sacerdotibus et Levitis; quia laetificatus est Iuda in sacerdotibus et Levitis, qui adstiterunt
44 (UKJV) And at that time were some appointed over the chambers for the treasures, for the offerings, for the first-fruits, and for the tithes, to gather into them out of the fields of the cities the portions of the law for the priests and Levites: for Judah rejoiced for the priests and for the Levites that waited.

45 (KAT) Konali službu svojho Boha a službu očisťovania; takisto speváci a vrátnici podľa nariadenia Dávida a jeho syna Šalamúna.
45 (VUL) et servierunt in ministerio Dei sui et in ministerio purificationis simul cum cantoribus et ianitoribus iuxta praeceptum David et Salomonis filii eius;
45 (UKJV) And both the singers and the porters kept the ward of their God, and the ward of the purification, according to the commandment of David, and of Solomon his son.

46 (KAT) Veď už dávno, za čias Dávida, bol Asaf predstaveným spevákov a spevu na chválu a na vzdávanie vďaky Bohu.
46 (VUL) quia in diebus David et Asaph ab exordio erant catervae cantorum et carmina laudis et actionis gratiarum Deo.

47 (KAT) A tak celý Izrael v dňoch Zorobábela a v dňoch Nehemiáša dával spevákom a vrátnikom, čo im patrí na každý deň. Levitom takisto dávali posvätné dary a leviti z nich odovzdávali desatiny Áronovým synom.
47 (VUL) Et omnis Israel in diebus Zorobabel et in diebus Nehemiae dabant partes cantoribus et ianitoribus per dies singulos partem suam et partes consecrabant Levitis, et Levitae consecrabant filiis Aaron.
47 (UKJV) "And all Israel in the days of Zerubbabel, and in the days of Nehemiah, gave the portions of the singers and the porters, every day his portion: and they sanctified holy things unto the Levites; and the Levites sanctified them unto the children of Aaron. "
