1 (CPDV) Now these are the priests and the Levites who ascended with Zerubbabel, the son of Shealtiel, and Jeshua: Seraiah, Jeremiah, Ezra,
1 (HEM) ואלה הכהנים והלוים אשר עלו עם זרבבל בן שאלתיאל וישוע שריה ירמיה עזרא׃
1 (KAT) Kňazi a leviti, ktorí prišli so Šealtielovým synom Zorobábelom a s Jozuem, sú títo: Šeraiáš, Jeremiáš, Ezdráš,

2 (CPDV) Amariah, Malluch, Hattush,

3 (HEM) שכניה רחם מרמת׃

7 (CPDV) These were the leaders of the priests and of their brothers, in the days of Jeshua.
7 (HEM) סלו עמוק חלקיה ידעיה אלה ראשי הכהנים ואחיהם בימי ישוע׃
7 (KAT) Salu, Amok, Chilkiáš a Jedaiáš. To boli náčelníci kňazov a ich bratov za čias Jozueho.

8 (CPDV) And the Levites, Jeshua, Binnui, Kadmiel, Sherebiah, Judah, Mattaniah, they and their brothers were over the hymns,
8 (HEM) והלוים ישוע בנוי קדמיאל שרביה יהודה מתניה על הידות הוא ואחיו׃
8 (KAT) Leviti boli Jozue, Binuj, Kadmiel, Šerebiáš, Júda, Mataniáš; on a jeho bratia viedli chválospevy.

9 (CPDV) with Bakbukiah, as well as Hannai, and their brothers, each one in his office.
9 (HEM) ובקבקיה וענו אחיהם לנגדם למשמרות׃
9 (KAT) Ich bratia Bakbukiáš a Uni stáli naproti nim pri výkone svojej služby.

10 (CPDV) Now Jeshua conceived Joiakim, and Joiakim conceived Eliashib, and Eliashib conceived Joiada,
10 (HEM) וישוע הוליד את יויקים ויויקים הוליד את אלישיב ואלישיב את יוידע׃
10 (KAT) Jozue bol otcom Jojakimovým, Jojakim bol otcom Eljašibovým, Eljašib bol otcom Jojadovým,

11 (CPDV) and Joiada conceived Jonathan, and Jonathan conceived Jaddua.
11 (HEM) ויוידע הוליד את יונתן ויונתן הוליד את ידוע׃

12 (CPDV) And in the days of Joiakim, the priests and the leaders of the families were: of Seraiah, Meraiah; of Jeremiah, Hananiah;
12 (HEM) ובימי יויקים היו כהנים ראשי האבות לשריה מריה לירמיה חנניה׃
12 (KAT) Za čias Jojakima boli títo kňazi náčelníkmi rodov: Zo Saraiášovho rodu Meraiáš, z Jeremiášovho Chananiáš,

13 (CPDV) of Ezra, Meshullam; of Amariah, Jehohanan;

22 (CPDV) The Levites, in the days of Eliashib, and Joiada, and Johanan, and Jaddua, and the priests, were written according to the leaders of the families, during the reign of Darius the Persian.
22 (HEM) הלוים בימי אלישיב יוידע ויוחנן וידוע כתובים ראשי אבות והכהנים על מלכות דריוש הפרסי׃
22 (KAT) Leviti, ktorí boli náčelníkmi rodov za čias Eljašiba, Jojadu, Jochanana, Jaduu, boli zapísaní a kňazi až po kraľovanie Peržana Dária.

23 (CPDV) The sons of Levi, according to the leaders of the families, were written in the book of the words of those days, even to the days of Johanan, the son of Eliashib.
23 (HEM) בני לוי ראשי האבות כתובים על ספר דברי הימים ועד ימי יוחנן בן אלישיב׃
23 (KAT) Synovia Léviho, ktorí boli náčelníkmi rodov, boli zaznačení v Letopisoch, a to do čias Eljašibovho syna Jochanana.

24 (CPDV) Now the leaders of the Levites were Hashabiah, Sherebiah, and Jeshua, the son of Kadmiel, and their brothers, in their turns, so that they would praise and confess, according to the precept of David, the man of God. And they served equally and in order.
24 (HEM) וראשי הלוים חשביה שרביה וישוע בן קדמיאל ואחיהם לנגדם להלל להודות במצות דויד איש האלהים משמר לעמת משמר׃
24 (KAT) Náčelníci levitov boli Chašabiáš, Šerebiáš a Kadmielov syn Jozue; ďalej ich bratia, ktorí stáli oproti nim, aby podľa nariadenia Božieho muža Dávida spievali piesne chvály a vďaky, jedna trieda zamieňavo s druhou.

25 (CPDV) Mattaniah, and Bakbukiah, Obadiah, Meshullam, Talmon, Akkub, were keepers of the gates and of the vestibules before the gates.
25 (HEM) מתניה ובקבקיה עבדיה משלם טלמון עקוב שמרים שוערים משמר באספי השערים׃
25 (KAT) Mataniáš, Bakbukiáš, Obadiáš, Mešulam, Talmon, Akub boli strážcami brán. Strážili pri skladištiach vedľa brán.

26 (CPDV) These were in the days of Joiakim, the son of Jeshua, the son of Jozadak, and in the days of Nehemiah, the governor, and of Ezra, the priest and scribe.
26 (HEM) אלה בימי יויקים בן ישוע בן יוצדק ובימי נחמיה הפחה ועזרא הכהן הסופר׃
26 (KAT) Oni boli súčasníkmi Jojakima, syna Josadekovho syna Jozueho, a tiež súčasníkmi vladára Nehemiáša a kňaza a zákonníka Ezdráša.

27 (CPDV) Now at the dedication of the wall of Jerusalem, they sought the Levites from all their places, so that they might bring them to Jerusalem, and so that they might keep the dedication, and rejoice with thanksgiving, and with singing, and with cymbals, psalteries, and lyres.
27 (HEM) ובחנכת חומת ירושלם בקשו את הלוים מכל מקומתם להביאם לירושלם לעשת חנכה ושמחה ובתודות ובשיר מצלתים נבלים ובכנרות׃
27 (KAT) Na posviacku jeruzalemského múru zhľadávali levitov v ich bydliskách a priviedli ich do Jeruzalema, aby vykonali posviacku s radosťou, vďakyvzdávaním a chválospevmi pri cimbaloch, harfách a citarách.

28 (CPDV) Now the sons of the singing men were gathered from the plains surrounding Jerusalem, and from the villages of Netophati,
28 (HEM) ויאספו בני המשררים ומן הככר סביבות ירושלם ומן חצרי נטפתי׃
28 (KAT) Tak sa teda zhromaždili synovia spevákov z rovín vôkol Jeruzalema i z netofatských dvorov,

29 (CPDV) and from the house of Gilgal, and from the regions of Geba and Azmaveth. For the singing men had built villages for themselves around Jerusalem.
29 (HEM) ומבית הגלגל ומשדות גבע ועזמות כי חצרים בנו להם המשררים סביבות ירושלם׃
29 (KAT) z Bet-Gilgala a z krajov Geby a Azmaveta. Lebo speváci si postavili dvory vôkol Jeruzalema.

30 (CPDV) And the priests and the Levites were cleansed, and they cleansed the people, and the gates, and the wall.
30 (HEM) ויטהרו הכהנים והלוים ויטהרו את העם ואת השערים ואת החומה׃
30 (KAT) Keď sa kňazi a leviti očistili a keď očistili ľud, brány a múr,

31 (CPDV) Then I caused the leaders of Judah to ascend the wall, and I appointed two great choirs to give praise. And they went to the right upon the wall, toward the dung gate.
31 (HEM) ואעלה את שרי יהודה מעל לחומה ואעמידה שתי תודת גדולת ותהלכת לימין מעל לחומה לשער האשפת׃
31 (KAT) rozkázal som júdskym hodnostárom, aby vystúpili na múr, a postavil som dva veľké zbory spievajúcich chvály.

32 (CPDV) And after them went Hoshaiah, and one half part of the leadership of Judah,
32 (HEM) וילך אחריהם הושעיה וחצי שרי יהודה׃
32 (KAT) Jeden sa bral vrchom múru napravo k Hnojnej bráne. Za ním išiel Hosaiáš s polovicou júdskych hodnostárov;

33 (CPDV) and Azariah, Ezra, and Meshullam, Judah, and Benjamin, and Shemaiah, and Jeremiah.
33 (HEM) ועזריה עזרא ומשלם׃
33 (KAT) boli to Azariáš, Ezdráš, Mešulam,

34 (CPDV) And some of the sons of the priests went forth with trumpets: Zachariah, the son of Jonathan, the son of Shemaiah, the son of Mattaniah, the son of Micaiah, the son of Zaccur, the son of Asaph.
34 (HEM) יהודה ובנימן ושמעיה וירמיה׃
34 (KAT) Júda, Benjamín, Šemaiáš a Jeremiáš;

35 (CPDV) And his brothers, Shemaiah, and Azarel, Milalai, Gilalai, Maai, Nethanel, and Judah, and Hanani, went forth with the canticles of David, the man of God. And Ezra, the scribe, was before them at the fountain gate.
35 (HEM) ומבני הכהנים בחצצרות זכריה בן יונתן בן שמעיה בן מתניה בן מיכיה בן זכור בן אסף׃
35 (KAT) z kňazov s trúbami šli Zachariáš, syn Jonatána, syna Šemaiáša, syna Mataniáša, syna Michaiáša, syna Azafovho syna Zakura;

36 (CPDV) And opposite them, they ascended by the steps of the city of David, at the ascent of the wall above the house of David, and as far as the water gate to the east.
36 (HEM) ואחיו שמעיה ועזראל מללי גללי מעי נתנאל ויהודה חנני בכלי שיר דויד איש האלהים ועזרא הסופר לפניהם׃
36 (KAT) ďalej jeho bratia Šemaiáš, Azareel, Milalai, Gilalai, Mái, Natanael, Júda a Chanani s hudobnými nástrojmi Božieho muža Dávida. Zákonník Ezdráš išiel na ich čele.

37 (CPDV) And the second choir of those who gave thanks went forth on the opposite side, and I went after them, and one half part of the people were upon the wall, and upon the tower of the furnaces, as far as the widest wall,
37 (HEM) ועל שער העין ונגדם עלו על מעלות עיר דויד במעלה לחומה מעל לבית דויד ועד שער המים מזרח׃
37 (KAT) Tak sa uberali ku Studničnej bráne, potom išli priamo hore schodmi Dávidovho mesta, kade sa vystupuje na múr, popri Dávidovom paláci až k Vodnej bráne na východe.

38 (CPDV) and above the gate of Ephraim, and above the ancient gate, and above the fish gate, and the tower of Hananel, and the tower of Hamath, and as far as the flock gate. And they stood still at the watch gate.
38 (HEM) והתודה השנית ההולכת למואל ואני אחריה וחצי העם מעל להחומה מעל למגדל התנורים ועד החומה הרחבה׃
38 (KAT) Druhý zbor tých, ktorí spievali chvály, išiel opačne. Šiel som za ním s polovicou ľudu vrchom múru popri Pecnej veži k širokému múru,

39 (CPDV) And the two choirs of those who gave praise stood still at the house of God, with myself and one half part of the magistrates who were with me.
39 (HEM) ומעל לשער אפרים ועל שער הישנה ועל שער הדגים ומגדל חננאל ומגדל המאה ועד שער הצאן ועמדו בשער המטרה׃
39 (KAT) potom ponad Efraimovu bránu a Staromestskú bránu, ponad Rybnú bránu, popri veži Chananel a veži Mea až po Ovčiu bránu. Vo Väzenskej bráne sa zastavili.

40 (CPDV) And the priests, Eliakim, Maaseiah, Mijamin, Micaiah, Elioenai, Zechariah, Hananiah, went forth with trumpets,
40 (HEM) ותעמדנה שתי התודת בבית האלהים ואני וחצי הסגנים עמי׃
40 (KAT) Potom oba zbory zaujali miesto v Božom dome; takisto ja s polovicou vrchnosti

41 (CPDV) with Maaseiah, and Shemaiah, and Eleazar, and Uzzi, and Jehohanan, and Malchijah, and Elam, and Ezer. And the singers were singing clearly, and Jezrahiah was their foremost leader.
41 (HEM) והכהנים אליקים מעשיה מנימין מיכיה אליועיני זכריה חנניה בחצצרות׃
41 (KAT) a kňazi Eljakim, Maásiáš, Minjamin, Michaiáš, Eljoenaj, Zachariáš a Chananiáš s trúbami,

42 (CPDV) And on that day, they immolated great sacrifices, and they rejoiced. For God had caused them to rejoice with great joy. And their wives and children also were glad. And the rejoicing of Jerusalem was heard from far away.
42 (HEM) ומעשיה ושמעיה ואלעזר ועזי ויהוחנן ומלכיה ועילם ועזר וישמיעו המשררים ויזרחיה הפקיד׃
42 (KAT) priam tak Maásiáš Šemaiáš, Eleazár, Uzi, Jehochanan, Malkiáš, Elam a Ezer. Speváci spievali pod Jizrachiášovým vedením.

43 (CPDV) On that day also, they enrolled men over the storehouses of the treasury, for the libations, and for the first-fruits, and for the tithes, so that the leaders of the city might bring these in, by them, with proper thanksgiving, for the priests and the Levites. For Judah was rejoicing in the priests and the Levites who were assisting.
43 (HEM) ויזבחו ביום ההוא זבחים גדולים וישמחו כי האלהים שמחם שמחה גדולה וגם הנשים והילדים שמחו ותשמע שמחת ירושלם מרחוק׃
43 (KAT) V ten deň priniesli veľa obiet a tešili sa, lebo ich Boh obdaroval veľkou radosťou. Aj ženy s deťmi sa radovali. Naďaleko bolo počuť jasot Jeruzalema.

44 (CPDV) And they kept the vigil of their God, and the vigil of expiation, with the singing men and the gatekeepers, in accord with the precept of David, and of Solomon, his son.
44 (HEM) ויפקדו ביום ההוא אנשים על הנשכות לאוצרות לתרומות לראשית ולמעשרות לכנוס בהם לשדי הערים מנאות התורה לכהנים וללוים כי שמחת יהודה על הכהנים ועל הלוים העמדים׃
44 (KAT) V tomto čase ustanovili aj dozeračov nad komorami, čo slúžili ako sýpky na obety pozdvihnutia, na prvotiny a na desiatky, aby sa v nich odkladali z jednotlivých mestských polí zákonité dávky pre kňazov a pre levitov, lebo Júdovci sa radovali z kňazov a levitov konajúcich službu.

45 (CPDV) For in the days of David and Asaph, from the beginning, there were leaders appointed over the singers, to give praise in verses, and to confess to God.
45 (HEM) וישמרו משמרת אלהיהם ומשמרת הטהרה והמשררים והשערים כמצות דויד שלמה בנו׃
45 (KAT) Konali službu svojho Boha a službu očisťovania; takisto speváci a vrátnici podľa nariadenia Dávida a jeho syna Šalamúna.

46 (CPDV) And all of Israel, in the days of Zerubbabel, and in the days of Nehemiah, gave portions to the singing men and to the gatekeepers, for each day, and they sanctified the Levites, and the Levites sanctified the sons of Aaron.
46 (HEM) כי בימי דויד ואסף מקדם ראש המשררים ושיר תהלה והדות לאלהים׃
46 (KAT) Veď už dávno, za čias Dávida, bol Asaf predstaveným spevákov a spevu na chválu a na vzdávanie vďaky Bohu.

47 ----
47 (HEM) וכל ישראל בימי זרבבל ובימי נחמיה נתנים מניות המשררים והשערים דבר יום ביומו ומקדשים ללוים והלוים מקדשים לבני אהרן׃
47 (KAT) A tak celý Izrael v dňoch Zorobábela a v dňoch Nehemiáša dával spevákom a vrátnikom, čo im patrí na každý deň. Levitom takisto dávali posvätné dary a leviti z nich odovzdávali desatiny Áronovým synom.
