1 (UKJV) These are now the chief of their fathers, and this is the genealogy of them that went up with me from Babylon, in the reign of Artaxerxes the king.

3 (HEM) מבני שכניה מבני פרעש זכריה ועמו התיחש לזכרים מאה וחמשים׃

3 (KAT) Šechaniášov syn, z Farošových synov Zachariáš a s ním zapísaných stopäťdesiat mužov,

4 (HEM) מבני פחת מואב אליהועיני בן זרחיה ועמו מאתים הזכרים׃

9 (HEM) מבני יואב עבדיה בן יחיאל ועמו מאתים ושמנה עשר הזכרים׃
9 (VUL) De filiis Ioab, Abdia filius Iahiel, et cum eo ducenti decem et octo viri.
9 (KAT) z Joabových synov: Jechielov syn Obadiáš a s ním dvestoosemnásť mužov,

10 (HEM) ומבני שלומית בן יוספיה ועמו מאה וששים הזכרים׃
10 (VUL) De filiis Bani, Selomith filius Iosphiae, et cum eo centum sexaginta viri.
10 (KAT) z Baniových synov: Josifiášov syn Šelomit a s ním stošesťdesiat mužov,
10 (UKJV) "And of the sons of Shelomith; the son of Josiphiah, and with him an hundred and threescore males. "

11 (HEM) ומבני בבי זכריה בן בבי ועמו עשרים ושמנה הזכרים׃
11 (VUL) De filiis Bebai, Zacharias filius Bebai, et cum eo viginti octo viri.
11 (KAT) z Bebaiho synov: Bebaiho syn Zachariáš a s ním dvadsaťosem mužov,
11 (UKJV) "And of the sons of Bebai; Zechariah the son of Bebai, and with him twenty and eight males. "

12 (HEM) ומבני עזגד יוחנן בן הקטן ועמו מאה ועשרה הזכרים׃
12 (VUL) De filiis Azgad, Iohanan filius Eccetan, et cum eo centum et decem viri.
12 (KAT) z Azgadových synov: Hakatanov syn Jochanan a s ním stodesať mužov,
12 (UKJV) "And of the sons of Azgad; Johanan the son of Hakkatan, and with him an hundred and ten males. "

13 (HEM) ומבני אדניקם אחרנים ואלה שמותם אליפלט יעיאל ושמעיה ועמהם ששים הזכרים׃
13 (VUL) De filiis Adonicam ascenderunt iuniores, et haec nomina eorum: Eliphalet et Iehiel et Semeias, et cum eis sexaginta viri.
13 (KAT) z Adonikamových synov tí, čo neodišli predtým: a volajú sa Elifelet, Jehiel a Šemaiáš a s nimi šesťdesiat mužov,
13 (UKJV) And of the last sons of Adonikam, whose names are these, Eliphelet, Jeiel, and Shemaiah, and with them threescore males.

14 (HEM) ומבני בגוי עותי וזבוד ועמו שבעים הזכרים׃
14 (VUL) De filiis Beguai, Uthai filius Zabud, et cum eis septuaginta viri.
14 (KAT) z Bigvaiho synov Utai a Zabud a s nimi sedemdesiat mužov.
14 (UKJV) "Of the sons also of Bigvai; Uthai, and Zabbud, and with them seventy males. "

15 (HEM) ואקבצם אל הנהר הבא אל אהוא ונחנה שם ימים שלשה ואבינה בעם ובכהנים ומבני לוי לא מצאתי שם׃
15 (VUL) Congregavi autem eos ad fluvium, qui decurrit ad Ahava, et mansimus ibi tribus diebus. Recensui populum et sacerdotes; de filiis autem Levi non inveni ibi.
15 (KAT) Zhromaždil som ich pri rieke, čo tečie do Ahavy, a pobudli sme tam tri dni. Keď som sa rozhliadol po ľude a kňazoch, nenašiel som medzi nimi ani jediného levitu.
15 (UKJV) "And I gathered them together to the river that runs to Ahava; and there abode we in tents three days: and I viewed the people, and the priests, and found there none of the sons of Levi. "

16 (HEM) ואשלחה לאליעזר לאריאל לשמעיה ולאלנתן וליריב ולאלנתן ולנתן ולזכריה ולמשלם ראשים וליויריב ולאלנתן מבינים׃
16 (VUL) Itaque misi Eliezer et Ariel et Semeiam et Ioiarib et Elnathan et Nathan et Zachariam et Mosollam principes sapientes.
16 (KAT) Vtedy som poslal po predákov a učiteľov, po Eliezera, Ariela, Šemaiáša, Elnatana, po Jariba a druhého Elnatana.

17 (HEM) ואוצאה אותם על אדו הראש בכספיא המקום ואשימה בפיהם דברים לדבר אל אדו אחיו הנתונים בכספיא המקום להביא לנו משרתים לבית אלהינו׃

17 (KAT) Rozkázal som im, aby šli k Idovi, starostovi v obci Chasifia, a vložil som im do úst slová, ktorými sa bolo treba prihovoriť Idovi a jeho bratom, nevoľníkom chrámu v obci Chasifia, aby k nám priviedli služobníkov pre dom nášho Boha.
17 (UKJV) And I sent them with commandment unto Iddo the chief at the place Casiphia, and I told them what they should say unto Iddo, and to his brethren the Nethinims, at the place Casiphia, that they should bring unto us ministers for the house of our God.

18 (HEM) ויביאו לנו כיד אלהינו הטובה עלינו איש שכל מבני מחלי בן לוי בן ישראל ושרביה ובניו ואחיו שמנה עשר׃
18 (VUL) Et adduxerunt nobis per manum Dei nostri bonam super nos virum doctissimum de filiis Moholi filii Levi filii Israel nomine Serebiam et filios eius et fratres eius decem et octo
18 (KAT) A priviedli nám, lebo nad nami bola dobrotivá ruka nášho Boha, veľmi učeného muža zo synov Moholiho, Léviho syna, Izraelovho syna, totiž Šerebiáša a jeho synov s jeho bratmi, spolu osemnástich,
18 (UKJV) "And by the good hand of our God upon us they brought us a man of understanding, of the sons of Mahli, the son of Levi, the son of Israel; and Sherebiah, with his sons and his brethren, eighteen; "

19 (HEM) ואת חשביה ואתו ישעיה מבני מררי אחיו ובניהם עשרים׃
19 (VUL) et Hasabiam et cum eo Iesaiam de filiis Merari filiosque eius et fratres eius viginti
19 (KAT) ďalej Chašabiáša a s ním Izaiáša z Merariho synov, jeho bratov a ich synov, spolu dvadsiatich,
19 (UKJV) "And Hashabiah, and with him Jeshaiah of the sons of Merari, his brethren and their sons, twenty; "

20 (HEM) ומן הנתינים שנתן דויד והשרים לעבדת הלוים נתינים מאתים ועשרים כלם נקבו בשמות׃
20 (VUL) et de oblatis, quos dederant David et principes ad ministeria Levitarum, ducentos viginti viros; omnes hi suis nominibus recensiti sunt.
20 (KAT) a z nevoľníkov chrámu, ktorých dal Dávid a kniežatá na službu levitom, dvestodvadsať nevoľníkov chrámu. Títo všetci boli zaznačení podľa mena.
20 (UKJV) Also of the Nethinims, whom David and the princes had appointed for the service of the Levites, two hundred and twenty Nethinims: all of them were expressed by name.

21 (HEM) ואקרא שם צום על הנהר אהוא להתענות לפני אלהינו לבקש ממנו דרך ישרה לנו ולטפנו ולכל רכושנו׃
21 (VUL) Et praedicavi ibi ieiunium iuxta fluvium Ahava, ut affligeremur coram Deo nostro et peteremus ab eo iter prosperum nobis et filiis nostris universaeque substantiae nostrae.
21 (KAT) Potom som tam pri rieke Ahave vyhlásil pôst, aby sme sa pokorili pred pohľadom svojho Boha a tým si od neho vyprosili šťastnú cestu pre seba, pre svoje deti i pre celý svoj majetok.
21 (UKJV) Then I proclaimed a fast there, at the river of Ahava, that we might afflict ourselves before our God, to seek of him a right way for us, and for our little ones, and for all our substance.

22 (HEM) כי בשתי לשאול מן המלך חיל ופרשים לעזרנו מאויב בדרך כי אמרנו למלך לאמר יד אלהינו על כל מבקשיו לטובה ועזו ואפו על כל עזביו׃
22 (VUL) Erubui enim petere a rege praesidium et equites, qui defenderent nos ab inimico in via, quia dixeramus regi: “ Manus Dei nostri est super omnes, qui quaerunt eum in bonitate, et potentia eius et fortitudo eius super omnes, qui derelinquunt eum ”.
22 (KAT) Hanbil som sa totiž prosiť kráľa o vojsko a jazdu na našu ochranu proti nepriateľom na ceste. Veď sme vyhlásili kráľovi: „Ruka nášho Boha vládne nad všetkými tými, ktorí ho vyhľadávajú na svoje dobro; a zasa jeho mohutný hnev zasahuje všetkých, čo ho opúšťajú.“
22 (UKJV) "For I was ashamed to require of the king a band of soldiers and horsemen to help us against the enemy in the way: because we had spoken unto the king, saying, The hand of our God is upon all them for good that seek him; but his power and his wrath is against all them that forsake him. "

23 (HEM) ונצומה ונבקשה מאלהינו על זאת ויעתר לנו׃
23 (VUL) Ieiunavimus autem et rogavimus Deum nostrum per hoc, et evenit nobis prospere.
23 (KAT) A tak sme sa postili a prosili sme o to svojho Boha, a dal sa nám uprosiť.
23 (UKJV) So we fasted and besought our God for this: and he was implored of us.

24 (HEM) ואבדילה משרי הכהנים שנים עשר לשרביה חשביה ועמהם מאחיהם עשרה׃
24 (VUL) Et separavi de principibus sacerdotum duodecim, Serebiam et Hasabiam et cum eis de fratribus eorum decem,
24 (KAT) Potom som vyvolil z popredných kňazov dvanástich, Šerebiáša a Chašabiáša a s nimi desiatich spomedzi ich bratov.
24 (UKJV) Then I separated twelve of the chief of the priests, Sherebiah, Hashabiah, and ten of their brethren with them,

25 (HEM) ואשקולה להם את הכסף ואת הזהב ואת הכלים תרומת בית אלהינו ההרימו המלך ויעציו ושריו וכל ישראל הנמצאים׃
25 (VUL) appendique eis argentum et aurum et vasa: tributum domus Dei nostri, quod obtulerat rex et consiliatores eius et principes eius universusque Israel eorum, qui ibi inveniebantur.
25 (KAT) Potom som im odvážil striebro, zlato a nádoby, posvätný dar pre dom nášho Boha, ktorý obetoval kráľ, jeho radcovia, jeho kniežatá a všetci Izraeliti, koľko ich tam bolo.
25 (UKJV) And weighed unto them the silver, and the gold, and the vessels, even the offering of the house of our God, which the king, and his counsellors, and his lords, and all Israel there present, had offered:

26 (HEM) ואשקלה על ידם כסף ככרים שש מאות וחמשים וכלי כסף מאה לככרים זהב מאה ככר׃
26 (VUL) Et appendi in manibus eorum argenti talenta sescenta quinquaginta et vasa argentea centum, quae habebant talenta duo, auri centum talenta,
26 (KAT) Odvážil som im teda do rúk šesťstopäťdesiat hrivien striebra a sto hrivien strieborného náčinia, zlata tiež sto hrivien,
26 (UKJV) "I even weighed unto their hand six hundred and fifty talents of silver, and silver vessels an hundred talents, and of gold an hundred talents; "

27 (HEM) וכפרי זהב עשרים לאדרכנים אלף וכלי נחשת מצהב טובה שנים חמודת כזהב׃
27 (VUL) et crateres aureos viginti, qui habebant solidos millenos, et vasa aeris fulgentis optimi duo pretiosa ut aurum.
27 (KAT) ďalej dvadsať zlatých džbánov po tisíc dareikoch a dve nádoby z medi výborného lesku, vzácne ako zlato.
27 (UKJV) "Also twenty basons of gold, of a thousand drams; and two vessels of fine copper, precious as gold. "

28 (HEM) ואמרה אלהם אתם קדש ליהוה והכלים קדש והכסף והזהב נדבה ליהוה אלהי אבתיכם׃
28 (VUL) Et dixi eis: “ Vos sancti Domini, et vasa sancta et argentum et aurum consecrata Domino, Deo patrum nostrorum;
28 (KAT) Pritom som im povedal: „Vy ste svätí Pánovi, i tieto nádoby sú posvätné, aj striebro so zlatom je obetný dar Pánovi, Bohu vašich otcov.
28 (UKJV) "And I said unto them, All of you are holy unto the LORD; the vessels are holy also; and the silver and the gold are a freewill offering unto the LORD God of your fathers. "

29 (HEM) שקדו ושמרו עד תשקלו לפני שרי הכהנים והלוים ושרי האבות לישראל בירושלם הלשכות בית יהוה׃
29 (VUL) vigilate et custodite, donec appendatis coram principibus sacerdotum et Levitarum et ducibus familiarum Israel in Ierusalem, in habitaculis domus Domini ”.
29 (KAT) Bedlivo to opatrujte, kým to neodvážite pred predstavenými kňazov a levitov a pred predstavenými izraelských rodov v Jeruzaleme, v sieňach Pánovho domu!“
29 (UKJV) Watch all of you, and keep them, until all of you weigh them before the chief of the priests and the Levites, and chief of the fathers of Israel, at Jerusalem, in the chambers of the house of the LORD.

30 (HEM) וקבלו הכהנים והלוים משקל הכסף והזהב והכלים להביא לירושלם לבית אלהינו׃
30 (VUL) Susceperunt autem sacerdotes et Levitae pondus argenti et auri et vasorum, ut deferrent Ierusalem in domum Dei nostri.
30 (KAT) A tak kňazi a leviti prevzali váhu striebra a zlata s nádobami, aby ich doniesli do Jeruzalema, do domu nášho Boha.
30 (UKJV) So took the priests and the Levites the weight of the silver, and the gold, and the vessels, to bring them to Jerusalem unto the house of our God.

31 (HEM) ונסעה מנהר אהוא בשנים עשר לחדש הראשון ללכת ירושלם ויד אלהינו היתה עלינו ויצילנו מכף אויב ואורב על הדרך׃
31 (VUL) Promovimus ergo a flumine Ahava duodecimo die mensis primi, ut pergeremus Ierusalem; et manus Dei nostri fuit super nos et liberavit nos de manu inimici et insidiatoris in via,
31 (KAT) Na dvanásty deň prvého mesiaca sme sa pohli od rieky Ahavy a uberali sme sa do Jeruzalema. Ruka nášho Boha bola nad nami. On nás ochraňoval na ceste pred nepriateľskou a pred zbojníckou rukou.
31 (UKJV) Then we departed from the river of Ahava on the twelfth day of the first month, to go unto Jerusalem: and the hand of our God was upon us, and he delivered us from the hand of the enemy, and of such as lay in wait by the way.

32 (HEM) ונבוא ירושלם ונשב שם ימים שלשה׃
32 (VUL) et venimus Ierusalem et mansimus ibi tribus diebus.
32 (KAT) Tak sme prišli do Jeruzalema a ostali sme tam tri dni.
32 (UKJV) And we came to Jerusalem, and abode there three days.

33 (HEM) וביום הרביעי נשקל הכסף והזהב והכלים בבית אלהינו על יד מרמות בן אוריה הכהן ועמו אלעזר בן פינחס ועמהם יוזבד בן ישוע ונועדיה בן בנוי הלוים׃
33 (VUL) Die autem quarta appensum est argentum et aurum et vasa in domo Dei nostri per manum Meremoth filii Uriae sacerdotis et cum eo Eleazar filius Phinees cumque eis Iozabad filius Iesua et Noadia filius Bennui Levitae,
33 (KAT) Na štvrtý deň potom odvážili striebro, zlato a nádoby v dome nášho Boha v prítomnosti Meremota, syna kňaza Uriáša, ďalej tam bol Pinchasov syn Eleazar a okrem týchto boli prítomní aj leviti, Jozueho syn Jozabad a Binuov syn Noadiáš,
33 (UKJV) "Now on the fourth day was the silver and the gold and the vessels weighed in the house of our God by the hand of Meremoth the son of Uriah the priest; and with him was Eleazar the son of Phinehas; and with them was Jozabad the son of Jeshua, and Noadiah the son of Binnui, Levites; "

34 (HEM) במספר במשקל לכל ויכתב כל המשקל בעת ההיא׃
34 (VUL) iuxta numerum et pondus omnia; descriptumque est omne pondus. In tempore illo,
34 (KAT) všetko podľa počtu a váhy a úhrn váhy hneď zapísali.
34 (UKJV) By number and by weight of every one: and all the weight was written at that time.

35 (HEM) הבאים מהשבי בני הגולה הקריבו עלות לאלהי ישראל פרים שנים עשר על כל ישראל אילים תשעים וששה כבשים שבעים ושבעה צפירי חטאת שנים עשר הכל עולה ליהוה׃
35 (VUL) qui venerant de captivitate, filii transmigrationis, obtulerunt holocautomata Deo Israel, vitulos duodecim pro omni populo Israel, arietes nonaginta sex, agnos septuaginta septem, hircos pro peccato duodecim: omnia in holocaustum Domino.
35 (KAT) Tí, čo prišli zo zajatia vo vyhnanstve, obetovali celopaly Izraelovmu Bohu, dvanásť juncov za celý Izrael, deväťdesiatšesť baranov, sedemdesiatsedem jahniat, dvanásť capov na obetu za hriech, toto všetko na celopal Pánovi.
35 (UKJV) Also the children of those that had been carried away, which were come out of the captivity, offered burnt offerings unto the God of Israel, twelve bullocks for all Israel, ninety and six rams, seventy and seven lambs, twelve he goats for a sin offering: all this was a burnt offering unto the LORD.

36 (HEM) ויתנו את דתי המלך לאחשדרפני המלך ופחוות עבר הנהר ונשאו את העם ואת בית האלהים׃
36 (VUL) Dederunt autem edicta regis satrapis regis et ducibus trans flumen et sublevaverunt populum et domum Dei.
36 (KAT) Potom odovzdali kráľove nariadenia kráľovským satrapom a povereným správcom za Riekou. A oni podporovali ľud a Boží dom.
36 (UKJV) And they delivered the king's commissions unto the king's lieutenants, and to the governors on this side the river: and they furthered the people, and the house of God.
